I would have loved to have used these mechanics but I called weeks in advance, the shop was currently backed up (which is typical). Asked if I could make an appointment so that my car would not have to sit 2-3 weeks outside, man said yes we can do that, so I made an appoint for a few weeks out. Called the day the car was to be delivered to them, was told even though I had an appointment it would be up to three weeks before he could look at it, and the car would just be outside in the parking lot.

I asked why did we bother to make an appointment when it obviously doesn't matter, no answer was given. This is unprofessional at the least, if you don't accept/want to do appointments don't do them and especially don't tell someone you are willing to do that and then screw them when the time comes.

Jay is the consumate car guy who can do the work and explain things as well. We were very happy with his service.

Johnson is my go to place for anything VW and especially if I need pressure tubing's brazed, such as steering lines, ac lines, brake lines. I've had Jay Johnson do this kind of work for many years and he is very good at what he does.

Jay and the other guys always know what you are talking about when you call about Volkswagen or Audi parts. They have a good amount of parts in stock and can also get anything else they dont have in quickly. They also have a full repair shop if you dont turn wrenches (or spanners ).

JFA does great work. They cared for my 2003 VW Jetta TDI for nearly 8 years after a run of bad experiences at the local dealer (charged for work/parts that wasn't actually done, theft, damage). Jay's team knows the right brands to use, tells me what work needs to be done and what can wait (and for how long), and keeps my car running smooth. I've never had a problem with anything they have done on my car. I've been in Texas for 8 months for work and still trying to find a good mechanic for the little things that come up.

I have been going to Jay and Nick for 8 years now with my Audi A-6 and they are the best in town! Whenever I have a problem they are on top of it and their rates are more than fair. When I got my timing chain replaced, the final price was lower than what they quoted since the job went quicker than expected. We just brought my wife's Suburban in when the front differential was broken specifically because of the great job they have done on my Audi. I won't go anywhere else in town and recommend them highly!
