I went to this place because when I called I asked if there was a two week wait and They said yes but we can you fix your problem right away we will give you an estimate on Wednesday being that I dropped the riding lawnmower off on Monday I never heard from them until I called them on the following Monday the work that they said needed to be done was overstated and very overpriced very unprofessional I would not recommend this company and will not go back

We brought 2 lawnmowers down to A-1 Small Engine and Diesel Repair. Neither mower was running, but we got a call 2 days later that both machines were running perfectly and were ready to be picked up - and at a reasonable price! Frank runs the business himself and has ultimate pride in his work. Frank is so congenial and just plain nice - he loaded both mowers into my truck when we picked them up. This is a GEM of a business to have so close by in NE DC!

Great experience dealing with Mr. Frank and A-1 Small Engine & Diesel Repair. Frank finished and had my lawnmower running back to normal. Frank even dropped my lawnmower off at my house after his work day was complete at his shop. Found Frank to be a humble, cool, hard working, down-to-earth brother. Thanks again, Frank.
