Mike worked on my car and he should work on yours also. I needed a decent amount of work done and he did great! Mike walked me through the process over the phone during the time of the repair and never kept me in the dark. Great staff and great experience

I will start with the positives first. The customer-facing staff is courteous and accommodating. Now, I had brought in my car for brake inspection and potential replacement. I felt the diagnosis was decent (expected really) and I was prepared for it. The horror part was the execution of the repair though. Trying the vehicle after the replacement itself, something did not seem right.

After driving for a few days, the suspicion turned out to be right and the vehicle had to be taken back for re-examination. After about another day, the vehicle was handed back to me and again, there was not much improvement in brake functionality. Tired of the multiple visits, I went back to the place I always have had my car serviced. They observed air in the hydraulics system and the system worked on flushing it out. Finally, after another day's makeshift arrangement and about $150 later, my car's brakes are working as they should. All because of what seemed to be a half-baked job on an expensive and potentially safety-related repair.

Terrible service. They tell you that they don't take appointments, that it's first come first served. I was the second person in the door at 7:30 am. They were to check my front end for a noise and let me know, and change the oil. By 2:30 pm no call. I called them. I was coldly told "it hasn't been looked at yet". I said it's supposed to be first come, first served.

The person on the phone said "we have cars from Saturday". He sounded irritated? I told him not to do anything with the car. I'll pick it up. This is our only car. I walked hour to pick up the car. When I got there, there was one customer waiting at the front desk while the front desk clerk was slowly chatting with someone on the phone. I told the person in front of me that it's terrible service. The clerk heard me, handed me my key and said "we were just about to pull your car in". Wow! I'm not sure who buys that BS, but it's not me. TERRIBLE Customer service.

This was my first time using this place and its so hard now a days to find a mechanic that is honest and not over priced. Im so glad I came to Casey's Mechanics. Right when I walked in a gentleman Mike helped me right away snd he was very friendly. Right away I felt Mike was very trust worthy.and knows what hes talking about. Mike was very thorough with my car when he called me back to let me know what was wrong with my car. Had my car back fast and now my car drives like a dream.

Better be the first one here to get any services. Oil changed prices went up few months ago. Employees at all CASEY have changed or are under way too much pressure. The service level have gone down. I have been to almost all if not atleast in Northwest. Still I gave 4 stars for those who still work on our cars and show respect to their customers.

Casey can only do the basic car repair like oil change, battery, tire, brakes. Anything difficult or more involved, do not go to Casey. They are clueless. My car engine light was flashing. Casey told me the piston ring needs to be replaced. and it will cost about $5,000 to repair. What they did was they went on the internet and searched for service bulletins and found this piston ring problem.

Good thing I was smart enough to get a second opinion from a mechanic I trust. My mechanic found spark plug coil needed to be replaced and the repair cost was less than $200. Wow, what a difference between the competence of the two repair shops and the repair cost of $200 vs. $5000. Also, Casey wanted to charge over $500 to replace spark plugs, which is overcharging, in my opinion.

The entire team at Casey's is great! They've been servicing my car for about eight years now, and I wish I had found them sooner. Last week the car needed some major work done. Some of it was still under Casey's own warranty. The total bill ended up being several hundred dollars LESS than the estimate because they could save the muffler. There have been so many instances like this over the years. That's why I trust these guys.

I have been going to Casey's for years now and I highly recommend them! They are very knowledgeable, but are never condescending in any way. They take their time to explain issues with your car to you and I trust them. Recently, I took my car in for 3 different issues to be looked at and Mike called me to explain that my car runs very well. He really could have ripped me off, but he was honest! I highly recommend Casey's and the excellent work they do!

Excellent service! I brought in my car for a grinding noise in my wheel. They diagnosed the problem, saw that it was any easy fix and called me to pick it up just 2 hours later. When they explained the problem to me they said it was not a big deal and they said it was fixed with no charge! And here I was ready to hand over hundreds of dollars. I'm sure if I brought my car to any other place they would have charged me at least $100 to diagnose the problem. Very competent, honest and effective people here. This is my go to place for service from now on.

Casey Automotive. wow! I never write reviews but they were so quick to answer my inquiry on Yelp. I was expecting my car to be fixed by the next day but I brought it in at 0800 and they called me stating they were finished and the car was ready for pick up by 1030. Everyone was so nice and services are very affordable. I'll be back!

Good people.they do great work. Also they work fast. Whenever I needed my car repaired they would always come through for me. I have always been treated nicely. The place is always clean.

My car decided to give me trouble one day and wasn't running smoothly. Check engine light was flashing and my traction control lights came on as well. Decided to drop it off at Casey's based on all the great reviews and how close it was to me. Ivan took care of me throughout the whole process. Called back to give me a full explanation of what was wrong and what he was gonna do to fix it.

Once I gave them the green light, it took three days till I got my car back ( replaced an ignition coil, valve cover gasket, vacuum pump, timing cover gasket &/or seal, and an oil change). The car has been running smooth ever since. I will be returning for all my car troubles and basic needs, amazing service and reliable feedback. Thanks a ton Ivan!

I have been going here for years to have my car repaired, even though it is 25 minutes from my house it is worth the time to know that I have an honest mechanic who will take care of me! Ole, Ivan, Mike, Tony and the rest of the guys Will tell me honestly what needs to be repaired now and what can wait. Prices are very good! I have referred many people there and they've all been very pleased as well.

Great service, very professional, and nice waiting room. I used to take my car to the dealership for oil changes and service but it doesn't even compare to the high quality of service you get at Casey Automotive. Thanks! I'll be back again!

They didn't try to over sell or pull any crazy stuff to pad the price. Honest, legit, and fast service!

Service was good but pricey in labor. They told me labor is 125.00 a hour which is kind of pricey for me especially when other places will do it cheaper in the same area with same service.

Took care of me when I needed my emissions done on my car. Pointed out other issues which I knew about already. I had them do the service since I'm pressed for time due to my busy schedule. Held the car for a week since I had to go out of town, and they're more than accommodating. Pricing was pretty standard as far as shops go, but waaaaaaaaay cheaper than going to dealerships.

Update to my review of yesterday: Amy reached out and had my car picked up! My car was returned today. Casey's staff went above and beyond to find the problem and fix it. I am very impressed with their customer service/professionalism and give them 5 stars. Thank you!

I purchased an older vehicle less than a week ago, unfortunately, my car died at an intersection 2 days after buying it. I found myself needing a good, honest mechanic. I can honestly say from the moment I walked in, to the moment I left, I was treated with respect and the staff was extremely friendly. 1st diagnostic inspection didn't show anything, so they had to dig deeper.

Once they determined what needed to be done, I was informed and updated on everything. I did need some suspension work, which ended up being more expensive than I planned for, but they have reasonable pricing! They weren't pushy, but were upfront and honest with what needed to be done. I worked with Ivan and he was really great. I feel like I have a place I can call/visit anytime to meet my vehicle needs. They have a customer for life : Thank you Ivan!

I LOVE this Casey's! Where to begin.prompt, courteous, very reasonable prices, and they aren't out to up sell you. They really tell you like it is and work for a solution. You really can trust them. Really. My husband and I have been coming here for years. Oil changes, brakes, tires, repairs. Rest easy and trust them.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Casey's for reaching out to us to mend fences. Olie was wonderful to work with and was very understanding about our situation. He was able to rectify the bad taste in our mouths by offering us a refund of the amount we had to pay to fix the radiator. I'm very pleased that he stood by his word. That was all I was looking for so I'm a very happy customer!

Long story short I thought I needed an alignment on my 2002 Saturn SL-1. I put a request out via Yelp for a quote and Casey Automotive came back at $79.95. Tremendously cheaper than others at $129+. I made the appointment and while there they showed me the pulling and shaking from my steering wheel was from the tire belt raising from the tire. Told me any next drive anytime I could be driving and the tire would/could just shred off.

Like the Semi's you see the tire shreds on the highway. Whew! So I purchased two tires on the spot, great deal, and they discounted the alignment to $49 since I was buying the two tires. If I could have afforded to get all 4 it would have gone down to $29 or $39. Great staff there. Professional, courteous, friendly. I worked with Mike Caldwell who was great.

He showed me the tires while the car was raised, knew I had to get my kids shortly, sped everything up, and more. Nice waiting room too. Restaurant next door too for food if hungry while you wait. Definitely going back for the other two tires soon. And anything my car needs. Hard to find a good mechanic. Thank you Casey Automotive!

I've gotten oil changes done here going on a year now, the staff is always very nice and informative. I just got a few things done today including a brake job, oil change, and they fixed a loose bearing. They called me as soon as they were finished, which was pretty quickly. I had a few coupons I was going to use and they added them on before I even mentioned it. Very good garage, I'll be using them for the foreseeable future.

I have been depending on Casey Automotive in Streamwood for all of my vehicle maintenance and repairs for approximately ten years now.we've had some difficult times with the two Saab's that I cherished, but Casey's has consistently impressed me with their honesty, superior knowledge and (perhaps most importantly for a single young woman) trustworthiness and dependability.

There has not been one single time in all of these years that I felt mistreated, disrespected, taken advantage of, or misinformed. And throughout all of my vehicles in this time I have especially grown appreciative of one specific employee, Ole. From my experience with him he has proven himself to be well-informed, kind, honest and extremely knowledgeable in his field.

He has also treated me and anyone I have ever witnessed him interact with, with the upmost respect and compassion. This might sound slightly odd but I don't mind one single bit when it's time to get my car in to Casey's. I feel safely assured that I will be respected and treated with the upmost integrity.

This review is long overdue. I've been taking my car there for 10 years and each time they have been amazing. If they can't figure out what is wrong in the first place, they will keep on trying. Example. Lately my calipers have been sticking. They ended up replacing each caliper, rotor, brake pad. Few months to a year later, they stuck again.

Different ones at different times. They continued to stand behind their warranty and replace without charge. Also they continued to look for the problem. They are very patient and take time to explain things to you. Basic oil change to anything else. Go to them. They've done my water pump, evap system, brake lines, and other things. Only tip I can give you is ask if they can do the job with other cheaper parts.

They are usually the same but they might knock of $20-$50. Especially if you have an older car. The worst they can do is say no. Sure you might "know a guy" but get to know these guys. I'm a do it my selfer. I can fix damn near anything on a car. I'm lazy now. And I really trust this guys.

I'm a big fan of Yelp to see what type of service is out there. I used this app to give this auto care repair a try and I was AMAZED at the excellent attentive service and huge value compared to dealing with the actual place I purchased my car. I will never go back to Don McCue.here I thought because I purchase 2 cars from them that I would be treated as a 'comeback' customer.not the case.you are merely a number there and at most dealerships when they actually get that sale and car out the door. I'm just so sad that I didn't give this new place an earlier chance. Awesome that your same work saved me over 100 dollars with an added oil change AND drop off at my home and pick up when my car was done! You have a lifetime customer now!
