This place comes highly recommended by many who own German vehicles! He is probably one of the most knowledgeable and trustworthy mechanics for German models! Plus, he puts up with all my aggravating questions when I try to do things myself!

Omg, ,,,Y uri is very professional, He spoke to me in terms that I understood, did not talk down to me, like some some. He is very kind.and fixed my Porche quickly. The garage is beautiful and he takes pride in his work. I had a small leak, he assured me it was over flow and even called, a few days later, to make sure that it had stopped, which it had. My baby will go to him from now on. So lucky to find a knowledgeable mechanic that cares!

Working with Yuri is a very positive experience. The difference between the ordinary and the extraordinary are the little steps in between. He constantly communicates and educates you about your car and the repairs needed, what he is doing and why. I go to the Garaj because Yuri is fair and knowledgeable. He listens to me when I explain the problems I am having with my vehicle, and does not discount them. I value my family's safety and I don't cut corners with my auto repairs. It is not often a single mechanic is known throughout the whole town by all car enthusiasts, and Yuri is that person.

We drive a Subaru, a Lexus and a Dodge, and Yuri has worked on all of them several times in the past. The cars lined up for repair at his shop are usually Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini, and in a small town like Dayton it is only quality work that brings those vehicles your door. If you want quality work, quality parts and knowledgeable staff you have found the place.

Took my Mini Cooper to Yuri to find an oil leak that two other places couldn't find. Yuri diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in 24 hours. Very efficient, reasonable and detailed. He even vacuumed out my car for me. Car is running great, I will return and definitely recommend you try The Garaj for your import car repairs.

Yuri runs a top flight honest and honorable business. Took my Toyota van there for a rattle up front. One month out of warranty. Yuri told me the water pump was bad at 45K miles. Could have fixed it and charged me a bundle but instead he recommended I contact Toyota and go back to the dealer. Toyota foot the whole bill! Yuri saved me a bundle. I have a couple other cars and Yuri is my guy. Use him if you can. The man us honest and excellent. He knows his stuff!

I didn't realize Yelp was for anything other than restaurants until recently - hence the delay in getting a much deserved review for Yuri and the Garaj. I have a 2005 Audi A8L which I bought brand new in Virginia. We moved to Dayton in 2010 and I first went to the local Audi dealership for some maintenance and repairs and was totally underwhelmed - deceptive, completed work without authorization, etc.

At a friend's recommendation I went to the Garaj and have been going there for the past 5 years. Yuri is very approachable, provides frank and pragmatic assessments of what must be done, could be done, or should be deferred for a future visit. His diagnostic skills are superior - which cuts down on the size of the bill, time for repairs, and possibility of repeat visit for the same issue.

If you are a car enthusiast, he will take the time to explain / show what is the issue and the options / consequences of different actions - without giving you doomsday scenarios. It's like having your brother maintain your car.

Yuri for the SECOND time has impressed me with his work! I took my BMW in for a rear diff leak. He did a great job and the price was right! Recently, I took my BMW back in to have an auxiliary port installed. He went to the trouble of verifying that the product I ordered would work for my phone. When I picked up my car the interior was vacuumed and the dash/interior was cleaned.

It is the little things that he does like that, that makes me keep coming back. NOT to mention the great discount he gives military! I recommend The Garaj and Yuri to everyone! Thank you Yuri for being a stand up business in a world of stanky shark businesses!

I've been taking a couple of cars here, to Yuri, for a few years now, all with good experiences. He specializes in Porsches, but I've taken Porsches and most recently a BMW to him. He is nicer than the dealers around here, and the bill is always much less than the dealers. And, unlike a few other independent German-car-shops around, he will tell you when to bring the car in and when it'll be done - rather than the "bring it in today" and a month later they haven't touched your car (that's another review.).
