Born in 1962 in Wroclaw, Poland, Roman entered a technical school at an early age, following the path of other men in his family, first and foremost his father, who always worked with cars. After 5 years of learning the theory and going through practical training he graduated in 1982 receiving a technical diploma as an auto technician. He began working for a Mercedes Benz dealer and after 2 years decided to move to Germany, where for 4 years he continued to work on European vehicles in Hamburg. In 1988 Roman arrived in the United States, where he came hoping to find even better opportunities for himself.

Roman is a consummate professional! I had a very unfortunate situation where I knew my car was going to cost lots and lots of money to repair because of the extent of the damage. Not only was Romans pricing fair and honest, he was very communicative and transparent along the way. My car was again a brand new car after all of the repairs and they returned it to me beautifully detailed! I would highly recommend using European motor service should you need anything repaired. Very honest, kind and professional!

They are the best that I have ever had. Their work is the finest and Roman will not do anything that isn't top notch and first class. I cannot say enough about how h=great their service and professionalism is! They are truly the best in New Jersey!

European Motor Service is an outstanding auto repair shop. I've used them for various service and diagnostic/repair needs for the European cars I've owned over the years including a Saab, a BMW and 2 Audi's. I trust Roman, the owner, to diagnose the issues I've had with my cars correctly, fix the issues the right way, so I know there will no longer be a problem, and be honest about what repairs I really do and don't need. Roman and his staff are master technicians and I wouldn't hesitate to bring my car to them for servicing.

He is truly an expert on European cars, provides excellent service that is done right, and is a very nice guy. I'll keep bring my cars to him for all my service and repair needs because I know my car will be in great hands.

This is the best place to go for Mercedes' owners in New Jersey. They are really passionate about the well-being of your car. Take a trip to park Ave in Plainfeild to experience Roman the owner. He is car doctor.

I was very pleased with the knowledge and attention to detail in repairing my car. My check engine light on my Mercedes had been off and on for a while and I had taken it to the dealership several times after spending quite a bit of money only to have it come back on. Roman and his crew diagnosed the problem right away. Nevertheless, I was very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

In all honesty, my review is outdated. I utilized their services somewhere around two years ago. The relationship started amazing - with great customer service and accommodations prior to being a customer because they are big on Google Reviews. Further down the line, when I became a customer things changed. I dropped my beloved C300 off to them and it was in their possession for roughly 8 months. Thankfully, I had a backup car for the time being.

I would call in daily to see the progress of the car and what was the verdict in regards to its repair. Each call went a little bit like "Roman is not in today, I will have him call you back tomorrow." Obviously those phone calls never came to me. I then would go into the shop and the same thing would be said. When I finally applied some more pressure the car was fixed in one afternoon, then I was presented with a near $2,000 bill for a simple pedal swap.

After asking for a price modification due the minor service and having my car so long, things went left. Unless you have another car, or you're in need of free vehicle storage, give this place a hard pass.

Master mechanic. Professional service all the time. No "BS", really honest mechanic with tremendous institutional knowledge on European cars. I have a Volvo S-80, GL-450 and E-320snd he knows each one intimately. One time, I brought in a check engine light on the GL-450, he diagnosed it. It related to a vapor lock issue with the gas cap. He told me what to do with the cap (turn 3x) after gas is filled. I asked him for the charge. he said "No Charge". I was shock and appreciative of the customer service.

The owner Roman was VERY customer service oriented. The shop is very clean and shows their love of foreign cars. I'm new to the area and I popped in with a quick request to assist with a trunk latch issue and Roman was happy to assist. He resolved my issue and less than 10 minutes. I look forward to making European Motor Service my official car repair shop! THANKS AGAIN ROMAN!
