They've been the mechanics our family use for approaching 20 years now. They're fast, efficient, friendly, and honest. They usually come in under time and under budget. I can't recommend them nearly enough.

First time bringing my truck here and I originally brought it in because my engine would stall with the ac on in park and drive. Ten minutes after dropping it off they crash it on a test drive. Then Mike calls me three hours later to let me know saying he had good news and bad news. I'm 17 and my parents used to go here all the time. Not a very good situation to be in already and I'm just really disappointed on how they handled it, losing two headlight bolts, new bumper doesn't sit level, scratched the newly painted piece when putting the headlights back in.

Terrible place to go to and Mike seemed so unphased by my truck wrecked, tried to make it seem normal it took 3 hours to call to let me know, who knows what they were doing in that time.

I've taken my Miata to Auto Spec for around 8 years, and they've been nothing but great through numerous repairs and maintenance. Just recently had a new top installed, and to my delight, they also fixed a loose door panel, with no extra charge, and in general as usual, got the car tightened up in details that just made it a more solid result. Ray and Mike have always been extremely nice, and go out of there way to find hard to find parts on a budget, etc. I highly recommend them if you have a Miata you want to be serviced with peace of mind that the result will be more than satisfactory.

I have been coming here since 2017. The team has been consistently helpful, pleasant, and hospitable. They go beyond my expectations for customer service and cost! I trust their diagnosis and treatment for my car. I don't go anywhere else. I highly recommend this place.

Automotive Specialist has been one of the best finds since we moved to Texas 6 years ago. They go above and beyond to make sure our vehicles are serviced without adding unnecessary repairs or costs. They are honest, hard-working, great at getting us in as needed and have provided the best maintenance and repair on our vehicles that we've experienced.

They explain things well, will show the condition of a part they recommend changing, and never make you feel pressured or belittle you for rudimentary knowledge. Give them a try, you'll be thankful you did!

Extremely happy with Auto Spec! I've gone to them for all maintenance and repairs over four years. Mike and Ray are great at explaining what's wrong, what the options are, and what to be aware of in the future. They seem to genuinely care about keeping my costs low, in both the short term and the long run. They offer an ad-hoc shuttle service and send follow-up text messages to ensure I'm satisfied. No BS. Great work.

I have taken my cars several times to Mike and the guys. They are a very good mechanic shop and trustworthy. They are professional and have always treated me nicely. Over priced and not happy with work preformed. they left parts off the vehicle and I could barely make it around the block, limped it back. they installed the part they failed to put back on. Yet when I 1st went in to pay they said it was good to go & the they test drove it after all Work was performed. that was obviously a lie.

Excellent service, fair pricing, extremely trustworthy! They will never try to sell you something you don't need, and they are very thorough in evaluating your vehicle for needed repairs or upcoming maintenance. I've been a customer for about 10 years, have no plans to change, I've always received excellent service.

This place is the best. 2nd time ive had to use them over the years, and they did not disappoint. My 16 year old Xterra runs great. Honest, reliable, and professional. You can not go wrong with these guys.
