Called at 4pm on a Saturday with a alternator wiring issue on my CJ7. They told me to come right right on and they'd look at it. As soon as I pulled up he diagnosed and started repairing the issue. They saved the day, no one else in town would help. I highly recommend and will be giving them my mechanical work as well.

Very knowledgeable, quick turnaround. While my marine alternator was beyond repair they were able to get me a replacement quickly.

Very happy with the work done on our Chevy Astro here. We had an electrical issue that no one else in town could fix (there was a short causing cruise control and the gauge cluster to not work at the same time) and after hours spent looking into the problem, they were able to fix it! And were incredibly generous with how they charged us. Very happy with the way they treated us and highly recommend for any electrical issues!

Brought in a 2002 Ram with engine light problems. Was referred by the Dodge dealer. I explained in detail the 1.5 year saga w other shops. Turns out the same thing was tried, charged a lot of money, and the lights back after 130 miles. Talked to the shop and scheduled an appointment but call back later to ask for a partial refund. He said no. # A dissapointed customer.

I would give them more or less stars but I actually didn't get to experience their services. Just interaction with the man at the counter. I asked about patching a tire he told me they couldn't do it right now and just said maybe later this afternoon but never offered a time slot or anything. Just told me that "lots of other places do that" which I was already aware of.

Right away it felt like he was just turning me away. I understand patching a tire isn't something that is going to bring the business much money but obviously I would need more work and bring my car back if it felt welcomed. I won't be back now. Brought my car to Johns tires and brakes on carolina beach rd and they were more than happy to help even though they had more customers waiting than this place.

When I first came to them about six months ago, my car battery kept inexplicably (to me) dying. I had just walked in without an appointment, and they couldn't fix the car that day. I thought I was "safe" to start the car again without a jump because I had gotten it jumped that morning and then driven for a while before stopping at Coastal Rebuilders to see if they could help.

Of course, it didn't start. I panicked, looking around to see if the owners of the cars parked next to me could jump me. Coastal Rebuilders saw that I couldn't start the car and came out and helped me, despite their busy schedule. Not only did they jump it so I could get home, but they took the time to examine it and see if their was something they could do quickly to solve the problem.

Unfortunately I needed a new battery, so they couldn't fix it right there but the fact that they tried was really impressive. That is customer service that goes above and beyond. AND they didn't charge me a thing for doing all of that. Since then they have done a couple things on my car (brake work, replacing a messed up serpentine belt, inspection, and oil changes) and every experience has been great. They work quickly and they are honest.

Mr Bill Parker and his employees have been awesome they have helped me with many alternator rebuilds and starters, Top notch bunch and 99/100 cheaper than box stores on starters and Alternators

Let just preface this review by saying, I've only been here once and I only give five stars if a place goes beyond excellence for the customer. The service was friendly, efficient and fairly priced. Unfortunately for customers, but fortunately for Coastal Rebuilders these three adjectives make them an exception. They took my vehicle when they said they would and had it ready when they said they would and everything was fixed as to be expected. Just a good barebones shop. Will use them again!

I needed some unexpected work on my 1995 Celica this week. My usual shop was booked and I had just spent quite a bit of change on bodywork after two accidents in January. I was at my wits end. The body shop recommended Coastal Rebuilders, and had made arrangements for me to see them. My car was towed there immediately. This was on a Tuesday. By close of business Wed.the next day.the work was completed, and at a fair price since it was an expensive job.

I picked it up today, and could not be more pleased. Ive always wanted to restore this classic car as much as is feasible. With the great body work and fast service from Coastal Rebuilders, Im on my way to that dream. Thank you, Bill and Tom! Will be seeing you again!

What a great guy to deal with. I was in a difficult situation and needed someone to help me without taking advantage of me. He ordered a starter to do a visual check for compatibility before he even called me then sold it to me for about 800$ less than the factory. I was up and running in only a few days with no issues. Was there today to get my brakes checked after I was told from the dealership that I needed front and back brakes. Wanted a second opinion so I came here. They told me that my brakes were in perfect condition. I really appreciate their honesty and will definitely be coming back there in the future!

This place was great. I had a 2004 Ford F-150 with electrical problems. Two other mechanics and the Ford dealership's service department in town passed the buck and couldn't figure out my vehicles problem.
