Furrin conducted a pre-purchase inspection on a vehicle I was test driving. I was notified of the vehicle's availability for a test drive less than a week in advance and Furrin worked me in. The inspection was incredibly thorough - inside and out, frame, electrical systems, etc. They gave me a comprehensive report of findings and along with it, the peace of mind to make the purchase. Highly recommend!

Absolutely fantastic, wehad a code pop up on our audi while traveling, it ended up we kust needed to register the battery and possibly replace our alternator. We went to 3 other places who pretty much blew us off, 1 just couldn't squeeze us in. This place went above and beyond for us. So thankful we found them. Very friendly and professional.

Nicole and the rest of the Furrin team are absolutely fantastic! Such a breath of fresh air to have a reliable, affordable mechanic service for my Audi. I can trust them to always be super accommodating, polite, and fair. Truly masters of their craft. Thanks guys! Service: Engine repair

Always a pleasure -- for the high dollar repairs and the small things that need to be routinely checked. Nicole is amazing and keep things running so smoothly. I connected to WiFi and worked while the car was being worked on. I continue to be a satisfied customer. They keep my bimmer humming! Service: Oil change

Furrin Auto did a wonderful job on my Mini Cooper today! Nicole did an outstanding job getting me worked in after I had to miss my first appointment. This is the 3rd Mini Cooper that I have owned and I always thought I had to go to a dealership (Tampa, Jacksonville, Pensacola) to have the annual maintenance done. When a message appeared on my dashboard that I needed IMMEDIATE maintenance, I didn't think it was safe to travel that far so I called Furrin and - surprise - they could take care of it! They have my business from now on! I will bet I am not the only Mini Cooper owner who could use this information!

I had an issue with one of our business vehicle ( Ford Transit 250). I was already frustrated with some other service. Requested them to have a look at it (they specialize in German vehicle brands), they agreed to look at it. My experience with them from check-in till the fix was awesome. They kept me informed by phone and through automated system messages. They diagnosed and fixed issue in timely & cost effectively. I am extremely pleased with their expertise and the service, hence I highly recommend them.

Dropped off a unique, albeit simple, vehicle (Land Rover Defender) with simple work requests. First, was to address the "Check Engine Light" (CEL), other items were to check steering components, and rotate tires. -Stated they could not replicate the CEL coming on again after they turned it off.came on within 1.5 miles of their shop on my way home. -Took it upon themselves to adjust my door hinges, which is an issue that I am intricately familiar with.

I specifically DID NOT ask them to touch this, as it is a can of worms once you start. They adjusted it without consulting me, and now my door is 100% worse than when I dropped the vehicle with them. -They amount of time they held my vehicle vs. amount of "work" they actually performed was insanely disproportionate. Bottom line: go to Jiffy Lube, you'll at least get your car back the same day. At Furrin, you'll be without your vehicle, it will come back worse, and you will end up paying $700 for a tire rotation.

My son is in college and needed reliable transportation while in Tallahassee. I read the reviews and since the VW dealership was booked, I decided to use Furrin Auto. I was assured they were VW specialists. Luckily I only lost $450 for a oil change to clean the engine. I later found out I was overcharged for that. The car was returned twice, each time we were told they couldn't find the issue as to why the car was cutting off although every single time my son retrieved the car, it immediately had the same problem within hours.

On one instance the car stayed with them for 2 weeks, still couldn't find the issue. Total time the car was there - 4 weeks! My local mechanic traveled to Tallahassee and low and behold, there was not enough antifreeze in the car causing it to shut off. Mechanics 101. I hope the owners are aware of the type of business that's being done, especially to college students whose parents aren't local. Shame on you.

Took my Lexus here after I already took her to multiple other mechanics, & surprisingly they were the only one to figure out that FIRESTONE (not recommended) messed up and didn't seat the brake pads correctly. So essentially I will be coming here. Thank y'all!

Yeah, this is the place to take your car, prompt, quality service with quality parts at reasonable prices. Nicole (service advisor) is awesome, knowledgeable, confidence inspiring and friendly. Kudos to her and Spider (technician) if your Euro car needs attention Furrin is the place to go. Our "local Euro car dealer" (seemingly) doesn't want you junking up their fine establishment if your car is over 5 years old.

If your not interested in purchasing a new car they snub you, sad but true. Furrin is unpretentious, down to earth people who will treat you right. They're reasonably priced, friendly and prompt. You won't be disappointed.

This place is a joke! Check this out! If they can charge $35 for a simple tire plug that is for a 2018 base model Corolla, can you imagine for any other repair job! Firestone charged $19.99 + sales tax for a PATCH! That's a fair price. This jokester at Furrin said it's $35 for a simple TIRE PLUG because it's "hot as hell out there" and he also said bc they're mechanics charge $150/hr! Are you friekn kidding me! BEWARE AND DO NOT GET SCREWED WITH THIS PLACE!

I have left maybe 3-4 reviews in many years and this had to be posted! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Customer Service is the WORST and God only knows if they even comply with the actual policies the owners have established.

Called Friday and was able able get an appointment for a Monday morning. My AC went out and they were able to get it fixed in a couple hours. Finding a place to get repairs on an Audi in town has been tough but I have finally found the place to go versus traveling out of the city to the nearest Audi dealer. The lady at the front desk was so nice and really cared about making sure my issue was resolved.

Terrible customer service. Terrible communication skills. They do NOT stand behind their service warranty. I took my vehicle for a small water leak. They said after checking it, it needed a thermostat housing replacement as well as two hoses. 777.00 later. I drove away, only to get home and still having a pool of water under the vehicle. I took it back. leaking a pool of water upon arrival. after two days. ah, we can't find a leak. gotta keep it over the weekend.

I removed my vehicle and took it to a reputable place and they checked it out, pressure tested, and found a leak right away. Water pump needed replacing. furrin didn't pressure test after replacing thermostat housing and didn't want to eat 6 hrs of labor for their piss poor work. they're service rep. Was terrible at communication. would never return calls when she said she would.

I will never take my vehicle here again. Autoworks international is the place to go. very Professional and great at communicating. who sad. furrin charged me more that twice to normal price for parts as well. they will hose you. WARNING! Do Not Go to FURRIN. my opinion.

Had to wait a while to get seen. Had to make an appointment a week after I first called them. An hour before my appointment, I called and they told me they had to reschedule to a few days later. However, once I finally got in they did a good job and charged a reasonable price. Definitely recommend

Had an issue with my VW Jetta. A few other places were unable to fix (I guess cause a German car? IDK). I was referred here by my brother who has a Mercedes. I figured before I spend all this money at the dealership let me try this last place. To my surprise they got me in the same day. It was a 7 hour job! Cost a bit of money but not compared to what I would have paid!

I picked my car up the next day and it's been running great! This place specializes in Mercedes, BMW and VW. If you have any give it a try. Nicole (front desk) is so sweet and will get you all set up!

Our college student drives an older BMW and it needed pretty significant repairs. He is 5 hours away from us and the car could not be driven home for work at our usual service center. They took such good care of our student and car AND worked with me from 350 miles away. Gave us a reasonable price, warrantied their work and provided emergency contact information for our student in the event of a breakdown.we didn't fix everything that needed to be fixed.our issue, not theirs.

The gave me detailed estimates of other items needed to fix the majority of the issues but no pressure at all to complete the work with them. I am very thankful to have found them and appreciate their sensitivity to dealing with students and parents.

Been using Furrin for many moons and had very good experiences here. The mechanics are super knowledgeable and will listen to your problems about your vehicle. Mike, the mechanic (not the band) helps me on the regular with my vehicle and has forty years experience of working on cars. If you drive an import European vehicle, this is the place to take your car.

So apparently they took not only my review but other reviews down, I just want to make people aware of what they're getting themselves into. I took my BMW X3 for a simple leak repair, and after they checked the entire engine they said that I needed not only a new expansion tank and thermostat but also a new motor mount and a belt. They quoted me a price of $1,600 which seemed fair so I decided to trust them and go ahead with the repairs. 2 days after I picked up my car I woke up to see a coolant puddle under my car so I immediately took my car back so they could fix it.

At the shop they say they have a two year warranty on their work and everything else, but I had to pay almost $400 more for the parts. The following week I went to south Florida and as I was driving I noticed the temperature of the engine going up, and upon checking the coolant liquid level I noticed it was empty. Luckily I was next to a Publix where I bought more coolant, but sadly as I was pouring it in I saw how it all went straight to the ground.

I had to call a tow-truck pay $75 for the service, and finally took my car to my trusted mechanic where I had to pay $140 to fix what these people had done. About one year and a half later as I was in Virginia for an internship one day I was driving, made a short stop to get something and when I turned on my car again there was a explosion noise and a lot of steam coming out of the hood.

Upon taken my car to the BMW dealership to diagnose the problem they said that there was a problem with the thermostat Furrin installed and caused the entire cooling system of he engine to explode. Now I had to replace the expansion tank, thermostat, radiator, water pump, hoses, and other things. Not only I was carless in an entire new state but the quoted price to fix the car was over $5,000.

I finally decided to sell the car and buy another one, but all the credit goes to Furrin Auto. Thanks for a well done shitty job, you're doing great on that. Just warning people to stay away from this shop, you could end up like me or even worse.

When my car broke down in the middle of the night, I thought I was out of luck. I chose Furrin Auto based on the reviews found here on Yelp and I could not be more pleased! Despite being very busy, they were able to take a look at my car the very next day and found the problem very quickly. The repairs were made and my car was ready by the end of the day.

The staff was friendly and helpful and called me throughout the day with updates about when my car would be ready. They also didn't push into fixing unnecessary things or up-selling. I was very pleased with this experience!

Over the past 3 weeks Brandon has lied to me and charged me for work that was poorly done. After 3 times of misdiagnosing my Mini Cooper he promised not to charge me and to pay for my rent car. When I went to picknup my car after 1 week he not only lied about the cost of the "parts" he would not give me the promised $35.00 a day for the rent car. Please do not ever trust your car to this repair shop.

Had a not-so-satisfactory experience at Furrin. I took my car in for a clutch replacement on a 99 VW This cost about $1,000, and after I got my car back, I had completely lost 5th gear. Then, a week after driving it, the stick came completely loose (detached from the shifting mechanism) and I had to get it towed back to the shop again. This happened on the freeway-- super scary and dangerous.

The way they explained it was someone missed seeing that this small plastic part needed to be replaced. And another thing-- I just had my oil changed today and the guys noticed the loud noise my car was making when the clutch is let out, and said it was the 'throw off bearing', which according to them, should have been replaced with the clutch job! Oy vey.

Totally wish I hadn't taken it there and instead just took it to a transmission shop! Lesson learned. Unfortunately for me, this turned into the classic, 'you take your car to the shop, then another thing breaks and you have to go back, and on and on'. Of course, all of these things could be coincidence. (my car is a bit old and has close to 200,000 miles on it.) So who knows. just a bit weird to me.

I also experienced some pretty bad customer service from there desk mechanic, Brandon, (bad communication, and just rude, I thought). The owner, however was very nice and respectful and did cut me some slack on the second repair I needed (replacing the small plastic piece that broke and caused my stick to be detached), but no discount credit, etc. was given for the fact that I lost 5th gear, and paid a grand:( Just wanted to put this out there, since I think overall this shop has a really good reputation in town.

It could have been just bad luck for me, but I definitely am not going to take my car there again and think you may want to consider another shop if you need clutch or transmission work.

Great shop. Brakes were making a weird noise. They didn't pressure us or try to upsell us. They told us the rear ones would have to be replaced at some point, but they didn't pressure us to get them done. We got just the front ones done and were in and out in an afternoon. Very friendly.

My daughter got stranded in Tallahassee on her way to Denver, and Furrins was recommended by a friend. They saved the day! Not only did they pinpoint the problem and make the repair, she was given a phone number to call if she had any other problems. The bill was less than $100. And she made it to Colorado safely. we then got a letter in the mail asking about their service, inviting us to call the manager with his direct number, if he could be of help and with a coupon for our next visit!

Amazing to me in this "wired" and sometimes impersonal world, that someone went to this much trouble for someone who was "passing through". Furrins will always be on my list of recommended vendors.
