My Volkswagen had a few problems that sort of all came to a head at once. Was looking for places and Sammy's was just a few blocks over from my house. They were able to take it in within a couple days, ordered a part, and got it back the next day. Lots of issues fixed, and it seems to be running excellent! Max was especially helpful and answered all of my questions. Will definitely recommend this shop to anyone in the Westside/Allentown area. 5/5

My daughter lives in Buffalo and I do not. She experienced a problem with her car and asked me for help. Her car was inoperable on a buffalo street and needed to be towed to Sammy's and fixed. Sammy's was awesome to work with, recommended a towing service and repaired the car quickly and at a very reasonable price. They provided excellent communication throughout the process and met the needs of me being remote. I highly recommend them and they will become my daughter's go to place for future automotive needs.

I have/had been a pretty loyal Goodyear customer for 12 years. When I blew a tire they couldn't get me in for 3 weeks! Luckily I work from home. I gave Sammy's a call. Not only did they get me in quicker, offer great pricing, AND the staff is extremely friendly. Major bonus: they are walking distance from me, as I don't have anyone fellow city dwelling friends to drive me. I'll be taking my business here now.

What a great place with great people! I dropped off my RX350 after one year of driving around with duck tape holding a piece of siding in place and a bunch of scuff marks on the front bumper. Two hours later I came back and the vehicle looked brand new AND it was washed. What a great place with great people! I highly recommend. Service: General repairs & maintenance

I took my 2019 Tahoe in for front end damage repair. This shop coordinated everything with my insurance company, including a Hertz rental vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle, the collision repair was undetectable. The paint work by their paint sprayer was blended so well that it was impossible to notice that there had been any repairs done. Highly recommend Sammy's for collision repair. My vehicle was ready when promised and very pleased with their work!

You know how once you find a good mechanic you stay with them. Well, I had been driving to the suburbs to go to my mechanic of 20 years until he retired. I used the opportunity to find someone closer to my current home and now, I have found Sammy's. We first came here on the recommendation from a friend when looking for someone to service a Mini.
Now we bring both of our cars here. I always get a prompt response when I call to make an appointment and can always get in quickly. I've been coming here for about two years now and see no reason to stop. The prices are reasonable and the mechanics have been trustworthy. Maybe I won't have to switch mechanics for another 20 years!

I came here because of the good reviews on google and it did not disappoint! Everyone was very pleasant and they were able to get my part and fix my mirror same day! Max did a great job and was very pleasant to deal with. Ended up being much less expensive than initially quoted and repair took less time than expected. Definitely recommend and would definitely come back here (although hopefully I don't need to )

Have lived a handful of blocks from this auto repair place for 15 years and never knew it was there, yet it occupies nearly an entire block of Niagara street. I think it is our new auto go-to place for most any automobile needs. I took Lynette's car in for an inspection this morning. She knew it was going to need at least one tire (it needed two) and that the wipers were starting to shred.
But there was also a clunk that two other places had not been able to locate the problem, and two days ago the hood latch had broken. Max and the crew did it all. Marylou at the service counter provided friendly and courteous interaction and information. Sammy's began on Tupper St. in 1955 and has been on Niagara St. for the past 20 years. They do collision, towing, inspections, mechanics.and hood latch repair.
The clunk? "Over certain bumps or potholes, the exhaust pipe had been hitting the drive shaft." They were able to bend the pipe enough to keep that from happening. Thank you, Sammy's Auto Center!

I would absolutely recommend Sammy's to anybody I meet. They do amazing, quality work at very reasonable prices. They definitely know what they are doing and you can tell them over the phone what your car is doing and they already have a very good idea of what is going on. They go above and beyond to take care of you and I would go back time and time again. 120% satisfied

The owner of this establishment sure knows how to feel a customer feel unwelcomed when you walk into the shop. They pretty much told me to F off when I told them I was not going through the insurance company. Even had the audacity to question if I actually owned the vehicle and asked to verify my documents/papers before doing anything. what kind of a shop does that? the lack of integrity and sheer ignorance by the owner was laughable at the least.

I was in a car accident last Tuesday. My car was towed to Sammy's. Through the whole process, they were amazing. Unfortunately, due to my car being totaled out by the insurance company, I was not able to see the final work. What really impressed me, is that they cleaned out my car for me and had everything neatly boxed for me for pickup.

Housed in an old Westside building on Niagara is this surprisingly large auto body shop. I say surprising because the front looks like one storefront, but when you pull your car into the large and well marked "Sammys Lot" you will see just how big this place is. The inside garage has some old cars that look fantastic inside. I was here because I brought a friends car in.
They have come here for years, and Sammy knows the car and the "cars people". Like a vet, the car (Bluebell) is known by the last name of the owners. The service here is super friendly. The issue was a small one. I had called beforehand to make sure they could take a quick look and give some feedback on what the issue was and what potential solutions might be.
I waited for a little while in a very comfortable chair and they provided some info. The issue was quickly clear and indeed a few different solutions were offered in various price ranges. All good. I'd come back anytime for work on a car.

I won't be going here again. Took my car in for a check engine light and paid $50 to be told that the engine had a ping and the car needs to be scraped. The mechanic was very brusk and made me feel like I couldn't ask questions. I should have just went to autozone and had the diagnostic test done for free. I took the car to another shop for a second opinion and before I got there the check engine light went off on it's own.
I told the new mechanic what the code was (P0325) and after test driving and doing a thorough check of my car he said it was fine; that code means the ping sensor is having to adjust more then usual (likely from carbon build-up or cheaper gas). The new mechanic fixed some (unrelated) things and now my car drives great and that check engine light still hasn't come back on.
On the bright side the receptionist is friendly. They might do a good job on repairs, I can't really say since nothing was repaired on my car. My advice is to avoid going here for a check engine light; just go to autozone and save yourself $50.
