Fantastic service. I have a 2004 VW Passat. I take it here exclusively. Dave and his team does great work. They explain very well their recommendations and always have good communication throughout the repair/maintenance process. I highly recommend for VW vehicles. They know their stuff, and won't take you for a ride.

On the recommendation of another service shop in the area, I brought in the first VW I've ever owned. The mechanics are incredibly helpful, and the work itself was an incredible value for the price. While under the hood, Dave found a broken hose and chose to repair it for zero dollars because it was easy and he could. I will never take my car anywhere else.

Like other reviews, I found Courtesy Auto Service honest, fair, and professional. I needed some overdue work done on my car and they were excellent at telling me what was necessary or unnecessary. It's great to find a local shop in the neighborhood I moved to, but I'd definitely recommend them no matter where you live in the Madison area.

My husband Tom's 2001 Blue 2.0 Jetta Wagon alternator defected driving north of Madison on way to Green Bay. He was extremely pleased with service afforded. He called Courtesy Volkswagen late evening, owner answered phone, diagnosed and ordered factory part that night to get me back on road to work next day!.wow! Owner was very attentive, professional and knowledgeable! Thank you a bunch!

The rear suspension went out on my Passat during the pandemic and Courtesy Auto Service was the only place open at the time who could help me and could get the parts needed to fix it. My car had to sit for three days for quarantine but once they could start working on it, I was back on the road that same day. Dave was super helpful and went above and beyond my expectations. Great neighborhood mechanic.
