Mastermind Enterprises

I have been to visit Mastermind Enterprises several times in the last 3 months. Our 1997 Mitsubishi Montero was having reliability issues. I had taken it to a smaller repair shop that had good repair prices and seemed to do good work. However, it continued to be unreliable for a number of issues. After taking it to Mastermind Enterprises the first time, I was given a detailed assessment of the issues affecting the Montero. Norm was friendly, patient and extremely knowledgeable.

He helped me understand what repairs were done incorrectly by my previous mechanic and showed me the parts he pulled off from their repairs. He shared with me his own story of the growth of his business and how he's dealt with all of the different challenges of owning his business. After the third repair, I believe all of the other reliability issues have been resolved that were caused by the previous mechanic.

I have dealt with a number of repair shops and have a very small understanding of engines, but I know enough to know when I am being "taken" by a dishonest mechanic. I don't think I have ever felt as confident in my relationship with a mechanic as I do with Norm. I waited to create this review until I felt comfortable with the reliability of the repairs.

Norm is one of the most knowledgeable mechanics around and is always quick to diagnose and repair our fleet. It's great to have a good, honest mechanic like him working on our trucks. Working with Norm was a pleasure. He took my questions seriously and answered very knowledgably. My two experiences with dealerships were so poor and Norm was able to put me at ease about my vehicle and give sound advice. This is now my go to shop when in the Denver area!

Our 2014 Toyota Tacoma needed front suspension work due to normal wear, 167k mls. Norm was great to work with. He understood my desire to use OEM or the best possible parts. He was honest with his past experiences with certain brands and recommended other brands. I researched his concerns and suggestions and was accurate with forums I searched about problem brands.

Honest mechanics are hard to find these days, and even harder to find some that take the time to get you the best parts possible, like Norm. In the end we replaced, OEM rebuilt axles from Denver, CVJ Axles (great set), inner - outer tie rod ends, seals, and all ball joints. It was a pleasure doing business with them and won't hesitate to go back for more needed work.

I hope shops like this do well. From my experience, the staff communicates honestly and does solid work. Definitely give the place a shot if you're in search of reliability.

Called to replace my timing belt on 2015 Chevy cruze, they were able to fix it the next day. Great service and a better running vehicle.

We took our Honda Accord in for a complete brake job. Service was outstanding and prices were fair. They also did a 100,000 mile service in years past and did a great job. Took my Ram 1500 to Mastermind and my expectations were exceeded at every turn. They made the scheduling process a breeze, kept great communication throughout and most importantly, my problem has been solved effectively. The service was top notch and turnaround time impressive. Pricing was quite solid as well. Highly recommend!

I don't believe I have ever had a mechanic that I felt 100% comfortable with. Norm is the absolute best. A year ago he fixed my timing belt at a reasonable rate and in a reasonable time. Recently he rebuilt my entire front suspension, and my air conditioning. He charged me reasonable prices, and I have a warranty for his work. This is the best auto repair place EVER. I only use Mastermind for repairs. I was sick and tired if being cheated and lied to by other mechanics. I have been going here for 4 or 5 years now. Last week he installed/repaired my air conditioner in my 1999 Chevy blazer. Because he is a 45 minute drive from my house, I shopped around to shops closer to me.

After talking to a few I knew I would not be happy with them. All the up sells and BS they always give you. So even with the hassle of finding someone to pick me up from Mastermind and dropping me back off 6 hours later, I found that it was well worth it. I was also having trouble with my drivers side wiper not clearing the windshield. I have had several places replace the blades and still had the same problem.

I asked Norm to take a look at it. The windshield had a defect. No one has ever been able to figure out why it didn't work. If you are looking for great service, knowledgeable mechanic and great customer service, this is the place to go.

I took my 2004 F150 5.4 3V to mastermind for a timing job. Now let me tell you this, This is the best place you can take your Ford vehicle. Norm took care of the issue and even went beyond to explain the work, the updates and even the maintenance I should do going forward. I've been driving it for a week and each day that went by I loved it even more. Yeah I found a great place to fix my truck incase of an issue. I'll definitely go back Check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Great family run shop. Norm is the only mechanic who works on my truck, over the years he has replaced my starter, oil cooler lines, intake manifold gasket, ball joints, control arms, suspension and anything else I ask. I drive a 1999 s10 with 260,000+ miles and truck is running great. Norm takes the time to talk with me and go over parts used or any other questions I have.

Never been recommended work that I don't need or up sell on services I don't want. I have always respected their pricing and find it to be very fair, often cheaper than other shops I have visited in the past. I highly recommend Mastermind Enterprises

I had the absolute best experience with Norm and his wife Heidi! I needed to get my timing chains, guides, cam tensioners, and just the entire timing rebuilt with everything involved on my 06 Nissan Xterra. Not only did they beat the nearest price quoted to me of$2650 but they were able to do so for nearly $1000 less. I called on a Friday and was able to use their afterhours drop off service to leave my car there the following Sunday, was blown away by how quickly Norm was able to get my car done and back to me only taking 2 days to complete the job. Norm even took the time to take before and after pictures of the work and pointed out exactly the services done and parts replaced.

Overall just a great experience, I plan on using Mastermind for all major repairs from here on out. So if your looking for a mechanic that's very reasonably priced, 100% honest and straight forward, time efficient, and overall of good character then this is your guy.

Took a chance after getting a recommended from a church friend. It is so hard to find a good mechanic who isn't out just to take you. I had a check engine light and had some issues with the battery and all this was taken care of plus a thermostat and I asked them to do an oil change. I felt they were honest and the price for all that work was. fair.

I dropped off in the evening and was surprised to have my car back the next evening. This is a Christian family owned business which for me was a plus. I would recommend them for any car repairs.

Wow, I can't say enough about this family owned business! My husband and I own a local contracting company and we rely on our fleet vehicles to get the job done. We were experiencing electrical issues with our. F-150 and had taken it to a previous shop to have the issue fixed, with no success. Within a few hrs of Masterminds having the truck they called us with a diagnosis and exactly what it would cost to repair. The repair was made for the price quoted and is running great! I've said before, there are skilled auto mechanics, and there are honest auto mechanics, but to find one who is both in the same package who also charges reasonable rates and will work with you to prioritize when you can't afford to get everything done at once is a rare gift indeed.
