What a find! Their selection of manuals for vehicles and auto history books is very impressive. I have called by twice and both times have come away with far more items than I set out to buy. Staff couldn't be more helpful

Please I need the shop help to purchase my car manual but I sent an email and haven't got any reply, and tried to call no answer and the answering machine is full. Can someone please contact me and reply to me?

Books4cars charged me a second time without any direct authorization from me! This companies employees are not attentive to detail. I asked for an owners manual and they sent the wrong year as well a small essential guide and not an owners manual for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. When I called back they insisted on making a point that I requested the wrong year.

They did nothing to fix the problem and insisted that I was wrong. Would not suggest anyone use this company. edited review on April 14, after seeing another charge on my debit card for the same product I called spoke to Alex. Books4cars charged my debit card a second time without my authorization to do so. This action is malicious and fraud. I was advised to talk with the owner. I do not want to do business with this company ever again and they have made it clear it gonna be a big problem for me!

Very disapointed as i got a owners manual that is a cheap photocopied reprint for 170$ Plus 28$ for shipping without beeing advertised or mentionned that it was a reprint. For the same price i could have bought a true original quality handbook.

Iyrs ago bought a 1996 olds manual, sure it was a bit beat up, but it came from a dealer, I bought in 2011, could it been in better shape? sure, if it was i given 5 stars

Ordered 1 book. last line in order stated 2.req fast shipping showed no price.will tell me later. adding additional delay. will recommend.

I paid 19.95 for an original manual for my 41 Plymouth special deluxe plus a ridiculous 12.95 shipping in a tiny envelope. It wasn't what they said it was, just a maintenance schedule. To return it they want 25% restocking fee and they ripped me off. I tried to email them and the email listed doesn't work. I won't be doing business with them again.

Purchase an item on eBay from these folks for 79.95 Payment was accepted and posted to my credit card. Delivery was expect on Saturday, but item never shipped. Order was cancelled and refund made without my request. Initially, I thought I forgot to pay. Paid 79.95 a second time before I figured out that THEY cancelled the order. The item in question was then relisted on eBay for 179.95!

The item had been on my own watch list on eBay for many months before I decided to make the purchase, and the price was always the same. Their excuse for this was a new trainee who had incorrectly listed the item with the incorrect price. (They did not discover this until AFTER I made the purchase.) Attempts to resolve this through Books4Cars and eBay both failed. (Does not seem quite legal to advertise an item for one price for several months, then cancel an order and raise the price.) If you have a dispute with this company for any reason, you probably will not have the problem resolved.

They must never have heard about the "customer is always right" saying. CLEAR CASE OF DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS! p.s.: Your "Typo" is your mistake, not mine! Next complaint will be made to the BBB and Washington Attorney General. Your response should have been to eat your own mistake, since you did not cancel my order for a week after I place the order and paid.

If you business is concerned, you should take it from the paycheck of the person that made the typo and caused this confusion to begin with! By the way, I'm still waiting on the 2nd refund for the 2nd payment that I made So Yes, I'm flaming away! You deserve it! (Next time to BBB and AG)

I ordered an SD card for my navigation system through this site, because of the 5 star reviews. I allowed 6 days before my trip to get the card. Apparently Books for Cars shipped the SD card via the slowest possible mailing source. I placed 2 other orders days later, from other sites and I received them 2 days later. It's been 8 days today and the tracking says I won't receive the card until tomorrow. If you need it fast buy it somewhere else.
