Most of the time I do my own oil change and stuff but it's freaking hot out and I look over to my right and saw this shop, pull in to check it out and got a good feeling about them. I'm really picky about shops. So I go in for an appointment and they said if I have a hour it'll be done! Plus they had the certain oil and filter that I insist on. 58 minutes later I was driving out of the lot.

And that's after I was asking about doing other things the way I would do it and it's the way that they do it also! So now I'm booking an appointment for next week. I only know of one other shop that I trust and they are 2,800 miles away!

I've gotten quotes to fix my wheel bearings and brakes for over $1500, but got it done quickly here for under $1000. These guys are great and very informative

I love these mechanics. They always do fast reliable work. They go out of their way to find you options for cheaper repair. After checking if it was okay with me, they called around the local junk yards to find used parts to help repair my vehicle and saved me thousands of dollars vs using new parts. I have been bringing my cars here for years and they always go above and beyond.

Bad service and always overcharge. Very unprofessional. I came for TPMS replaced a while ago they said $160 and it will take 2 hours. I ask why it so expensive and take so long to replace just only one. They said their price and service are the best in town. But when asked Big O tire store which is just cross the street. They only charged $80 and had everything done in 30 mins.

Had to tow our car in and within a day they found out what it was, didn't inflate the price, and got it back to us the following day. We refuse to go anywhere else.

I have been taking my car here for about 2yrs. I am pleased to say that they are honest and always provide good quality work. I have always paid reasonable prices for their services.

I'd heard this was an honestly run business with great integrity from my sister years ago. She was absolutely correct! I purchased a very nice 2016 minivan one year ago. I hadn't serviced it since purchase as I drove it very little due to the Pandemic. Then a tire kept losing air so I had to get it checked. My oil indicator had also started showing 15% efficacy so I knew I needed to address it.

As I checked into this place I requested a future appt. for an oil change & maintenance check. They fixed my tire, then said they had time to change my oil (and switch to synthetic per my request) & do the maintenance check. They were quick, communicative, and polite! Surprisingly, my bill was less than $100! I'll be moving to another state in a few months. I'll have them do another maintenance check before I drive across country during my move. How I wish I could take Japanese Auto Pros with me! Smart, honest, & hard working mechanics are worth their weight in Gold!

Replaced the starter and got it working again. Not only did they have the lowest cost quote over the phone, they charged me less than that in the end including an oil change. Went the extra mile and even cleaned the windows, topped off all fluids, filled up tires, and got everything looking nice. Appreciate the attention to detail and being prompt about updates regarding the repair. Will be coming back next time if I need another repair.

I've been taking all my vehicles here and at their prior place before moving here on Northern. I always recommend them to all my family and friends. They are very honest and extremely hard working business. I'm very grateful to have found this place - it's like they say- you get what you pay for. I'm sure some other spots are cheaper in price but over time you will end up paying more.

I just purchased an Acura TL in near perfect condition but knew it needed its fluids flushed as well as a new rear motor mount (steering wheel was vibrating like mad at stop lights). Oh, and it had the original timing belt with 180k miles on it, too! Talk about risky! Since I was on borrowed time, I almost took her into Acura of N Scottsdale as their estimate was surprisingly low.

I hesitated bc I knew I could shop around more for a better estimate that wasn't also a damn dealership. I stumbled onto Japanese Auto Pros on Yelp and saw all of the 5-star rave reviews from customers year after year! Yes, there were some 1-2 star testimonials peppered also but quite frankly, the authors seemed to be unreasonable jerks at face value.

I called them on a Friday afternoon and got an estimate for timing belt repair, rear motor mount, transmission service, oil change and radiator cap replacement. The quote was MORE than fair and they could get my car in on the following Monday?!? I was sold and jumped on their offer and am SO glad I did. My car was ready for pick up mid-day on Tuesday. Note: they had every opportunity to call me whilst servicing and 'warn me about the _________ needing replacing' since it was a new car and me being female. Nope.

Not a peep. This crew is honest, efficient, affordable and competent- period. My car runs amazing now! Thank you SO much Japanese Auto Pros- you've definitely earned a new client. Plus my gear head Boyfriend will also start using you. Told my family to go here also.

Don't go to this place. I took my truck (NISSAN TITAN) in for overheating with the AC on while in idle. Doesn't do it unless the AC is on. They said it's the thermostat, drive on way home, truck does it again 300 dollars later. Call to ask wth, did you leave it in idle with the AC on? I can't recall he says, what do you mean you can't recall I just picked it up and you guys fix it.

We don't recreate the problem we just make our best educated guess. I don't need people guessing whats wrong I need people who KNOW what they're doing. You're supposed to specialize in Japanese makes and models, and you're taking a guess. Customers can't afford guesses man. I'm not made of money. I can guess myself. Mechanics are supposed to be the pros! Save your money and go somewhere else!

Veronica is a great receptionist. Very understanding and helpful. Tien and Kevin know how to run a professional business as well as deliver incredible service. Came in for several oil changes and car repairs that were very affordable. Thank you guys!

I have had a stiff power steering wheel issue for about a month where I had to power myself to turn my wheel. It was absolutely embarrassing and I was surprised I lasted that long. My husband recommended this place to go to as he went here awhile back for his old Honda Accord. I have seen this place many times driving on Northern, but have never taken my car here until now.

This place is right by the 17 Freeway, so you can't really miss it. There's ample parking and inside the facility, it's pretty cool to stay inside on a very hot day. I didn't have an appointment, but they still took me in on a busy day. I am very thankful for that. Tien explained to me what was wrong with it and I agreed with what he said as I suspected my powering steering pump was the issue.

They quoted me about 4 hours to finish the job, but it was done in about 2. I really appreciated the honesty of the mechanics here and the fact they don't try to upsell. I was able to get my car right before closing and it drove like a dream. I can't remember it driving this smoothly in awhile. Definitely will come back for other services in the future.

Have been using them since 2013. They have been so honest. When I asked about a certain part they would let me know I have x amount of time left so I could wait. I trust them a lot.

Japanese Auto Pros is great! We have four cars: Kia, Honda, Ram Truck, and a Lexus, and all four vehicles have been serviced with this reliable company for years. Tien runs an efficient shop: phone calls returned promptly, and service is as quick as possible. We have always we recieved an acccuate quote for our needed services. We feel lucky to have an honest and responsive auto repair shop nearby. We cannot recommend this auto repair shop highly enough!

My transmission went out at work and Was able to make it to the shop. The guy said he had to do a diagnostic. I wasn't happy about it at 1st but I'm glad I got it done. The sensor I wanted to replace was over $200 at another place. It turned out the sensor wasn't the problem. My car was leaking transmission fluid from the casing. The guy told me I could replace the transmission or just keep checking the oil until I got a new car, (since my car is older.

I am saying my car is old not him). I think this guy gets a lot of crap for being blunt and not charging like the mechanic working out of his house. I would definitely go back

I can not say enough about this repair shop. I do not own a foreign car, but they are able to repair anything at a reasonable price. The staff: Tein & Kevin are top notch people. Their mechanics are very skilled at a reasonable rate. Do yourself a favor, when you need car work completed give this establishment a try.

Excellent mechanics! Most importantly, HONEST and fair. I had to tow my old (240k miles) car to their shop, it was my first time doing business with them. Gave them recent history and another mechanic's diagnostic pointing to a potential timing belt adjustment or replacement (which seemed premature, by the way). They took a look at it, and it turned out it was the crankshaft position sensor.

They checked the timing marks and made sure everything was OK. They could have hit me with a new timing belt, tensioners, etc., but NO! They are skilled AND honest. Imagine that. Definitely going back. THANK YOU!

I had a lot of problems with a lot of my cars. I don't just have one I have many. And I took one of them here. And they got it working the next day. And I paid them and drove off with my car. And couple years ago my a/c broke and I forgot about them so I took my car to another auto repair shop and they said it was my a/c broke like the whole thing and I needed $800.00 to get it repair i didn't have funds for that kind of money and all of the sudden I forgot about Japanese auto repair and I brought my car back to them and they fixed it for me and it was only 250. And all I needed was a freon. There is people out there that will lied and this place is the best. I will forever bring my car here.

I got a quote from my dealership for engine mount replacements and also a quote from here. Chapman Hyundai was estimated $400+ for one motor mount. These guys quoted me $650+ for two motor mounts. My car was vibrating for a couple of years and I did feel it getting worse as months past. So I decided to take my car in and get it replaced. Now my car is no longer vibrating and my car is driving much better. I trust these guys with taking care of my cars needs, since I know they use good quality parts and my car always comes out happy.

This has to be one of the most honest places with the best service. I brought my 4Runner in with a speedometer issue and some ABS lights on at the last minute on a Saturday. They fixed my speedometer that day, and I prepaid for another sensor they had to order and install the next week. They kept in close touch with me, but when I brought my car back for the sensor, they found that the ECU wouldn't let them reprogram and install it. They refunded me all my money without me even asking, and gave me advice on where I could take it to get it done. Definitely coming back here if I ever need anything else.

The repair was done on my BMW in such a timely manner and at a reasonable cost! They explained what was wrong and got straight to it. The staff also gave me a ride to and from work since the repair would take most of the work day. Highly recommended!

So it was time to make the repairs Turns out on of my relay fans had shorted, that caused a cascading electrical issue the stopped a full 1.5 of Freon from cooling the air. I gladly and quickly paid the $516.00 Because 25 to 30 degrees coming out of the vent IS A GOOD THING. If I am not doing the work to maintain our 2 Honda's. These guys will. Honest, No B. S. And interesting to see an all Asian Mechanical repair shop.

So I came here for a quick oil change as it's a couple blocks from my house. I arrived early on Saturday with no appointment and was told it would take an hour and it took 45 minutes. In, out, no muss no fuss, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg but with the assurance that my car was in good hands. Not pointing any fingers at some chain oil places.

This place does rock solid work; fair pricing and no pressure tactics makes me feel like my car isn't gonna die out on me if I don't get all the work done. I've been coming here for 10 years and their customer service and their work hasn't wavered one bit.
