I got stranded in San Francisco and needed a tow to Modesto this company goes deep into your pockets called for a price she said to me 49.00 for hookup plus 10 dollars a mile did the math 929.00 Yikes this guys want your kids trust fund as well! I found a company B & A towing company they towed me for 485.00 reasonable price. give them a try.

This place is a scam. they are just a call center that sends predatory tow drivers. We were quoted $140 for a mile long tow and they charged my credit card $600 without my permission. Stay away.

They said they would come at 8pm. It's 9pm and still no truck. Had to call them 4 times and spent the entire time on hold. I kept calling and now they are just disconnecting me. I gave them my credit card number and now they won't speak with me. Go somewhere else if you need a tow. They wasted my time! Will also be reporting on BBB.

Rip off! They quoted me & when they arrived they charged over $100 more than what they told me & also, i asked them prior to making the appointment if i can pay after the car is delivered & they said yes. but when the tow guy arrived, he said pay up front & with that $100+ extra. I was making the arrangements for a family member of mine but when this place got to my family member, thats when what they told me up front completely changed

I called at 2:48 to schedule a tow, waited about an hour and a half and then called them. The lady put me on hold or 10 mins. I hung up and called back and I was on hold for another 10 mins. Not once did she come back on the line to tell me to continue to hold because she was waiting for a response back from dispatch. Now when I call, I get put on hold immediately.

I am 0.8 miles away from this towing company. How is this business still operational? I would definitely recommend this company if you have plenty of time on your hands and you don't mind poor communication.

Quoted a price of $225 an hour minimum 2 hours, a different tow company showed up and tried to charge me $1800. We talked them down to $800 and they asked us to sort out the difference with P&P. P&P has not be helpful at all, after 2 weeks of attempting to get in contact with someone in charge and being told that no one was available I am giving up on the $350 over charge and hoping this review will save someone the trouble and money I went through.

DO NOT USE! It is a completely SCAM! I was quoted $135, when the driver arrived, he asked for $450! When I talked to his "boss" and ask about the price, he threaten me to tow my car to the junkyard if I don't pay! Then the driver and I finally agree on $200, I paid. About 5 minutes later, his "boss" called me and said, " You only paid $200? We are going back and tow your car to the junkyard, you should pay $400, you are playing games with me." So ghetto!

I was driving back home when my car died and left me stranded on a section of 101 without a shoulder. Wanted to call out the service of Guy, the tow technician from P&P Towing. Before I had a chance to even call Hwy Patrol, Guy saw me stranded and stopped to assist me. Within 10 mins of stopping in the slow lane with cars zooming and swerving to avoid me, I was in the cab of his tow truck. His professional and matter of fact demeanor is reassuring and I don't know what I would have done without him.

I have NEVER, EVER had an experience with a towing service the way I just had one with P&P. I was quoted $134 for a local tow to transfer my car (I called twice to confirm before sending them out) less than 2 miles from its location. The servicemen shows up and tells me the price will be $300. In disbelief, I tell him he can pack up because I would never have agreed to them coming out if that was the actual quote.

He calls his shop, they come back with $140 and an $80 service fee. Again, I said absolutely not and I will be calling another shop. Big surprise, he then tells me he will do the tow for $140 flat and will reverse tow the car instead of using a dolly. As he goes to pick up the car from the back, he asked that I move the car up. Who is going to pay for the damage to my rims when I move the car?

Not P&P so I tell them no, the car cannot be moved from it's current spot. Instead of using a dolly (like he should have done and what was the safest for the car), he wanted to lift the car from the back. However, he was not going to able to align with my tires correctly so I asked that he stop and we cancel. Now after three incorrect prices quotes, asking to potentially damage my car so they could tow the car and then incorrectly beginning the tow, they had the audacity to tell me that I had to pay a cancellation fee. Absolutely not. This business is a SCAM. Do not use their "services" if you can even call it that.

WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL TOW COMPANY COMPANY I'VE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. First they told me 35 minute wait. I called back to get a status after 35 minutes and they said 15 minutes longer. I waited another 25 minutes on top of that. Then they said the driver would call me himself in 5-10 minutes. I waited, 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes. No call from driver.

Then get this: I called the company back -- and they don't pick up the phone! I called 5 times -- they hung up -- or it went to the fax machine. I am incredulous at how unscrupulous they are! They flagrantly lied and deliberately didn't answer the phone! If they weren't able to handle the business -- why accept the job and jerk me around!

So I waited a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes with no tow. This was Friday at 9pm -- though they are 24-hour service! I'd still be sitting in my car waiting if I didn't figure out that these people are corrupt. Shame on them for doing dirty business like that. Beware!

I contacted P&P to move a specialty piece of machining equipment. Martin arrived promptly and was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to handling my equipment. The hauling went flawlessly and I will definitely be contacting P&P for equipment moves in the future!

Tow truck never came after 2+ hrs and they charged me $45 for canceling. I kept calling and they kept quoting me 20-25 minutes. I first called, had a driver coming then had to reschedule for the next day because I lost access to my garage. I quickly gain access to my garage so called them back and that's when the 2+ hr wait started. I asked the phone operator to remove the charge because they never came and she said no.

Martin is the best. My wheel came off completely on the highway and he came and got me no problem!

And also when one card declined they hung up on my gf And when I had her call back they was like ohhhhh we can't help u! I called back like bish we have other forms of payment! Don't call them don't even pay these mfs sketch asses!

Nicole was absolutely amazing during the entire process in this difficult time after two other tow companies cancelled on me due to "bad weather conditions". I can't rave enough about her excellent customer service. I now have a go to company if I ever need roadside rescue.

These people are great.waited three hours for AAA.then turned to these people.driver came all the way from the Cow Palace during rush hour and got me across the Bay Bridge to my garage quickly within forty-five minutes. I recommend them highly! Bruce Pachter

Very professional service from Guy. My loaner car failed and had to be towed from San Mateo to Berkeley. Guy arrived promptly and took care of my car as well as drove me back to the service shop to pickup my car. Highly recommend P & P Towing

I wish I searched the reviews before calling them. My car could not start and got stuck in a garage. I had to stay overnight in the city and deal with the car the next morning. The call center is rude and impatient. The technician didn't show any certificate in hindsight. He charged the maximum price 85$ they said for car jump start, without any receipt for the cash he received.

The technician was constantly picking up phone calls. The car jumpstart did not work. The technician offered to tow my car to a car repair shop at a half "price" (200$) since he arrived with a tower, which was a "deal" between he and me. My mind was messy and in a hurry back then and made a big mistake to trust him. I thought the price seemed not too bad without further research.

After hooking up the car to the tower, he suddenly said the price is 300$ and insists that he said half price of the full price 600$. It's pretty awful moment. Along the way, he refused to buckle up safety belt because he didn't like it. I felt very lucky that we arrived safely to a car repair shop. Their contractors and employees seems simply unprofessional, dishonest, and could put both customers and cars to danger. See photo of the tower.

I was desperate to get my car jumped since we broke down in Sf. Wish I would've checked the reviews! These people are too expensive and take too long! Plus the witch that answered my phone call was rude af!

As others have mentioned, I was quoted one price over the phone and charged around 4x as much. I had a motorcycle towed from 280North to Harrison/3rd street on the morning of 4/16/19. To the company: I'm hoping that this was just a mixup through your contractors. In that case I'll be happy to edit this into a positive review if you can work with me to make this right.

If not, I've already contacted the San Francisco District Attorney Consumer Protection Unit and plan to move forward with them as a first step. Update: One of the managers, Nick, did get back to me and agreed to a partial refund. Unfortunately there was another misquote for the partial return. I have edited the review as agreed but I could not recommend this tow company to a friend. Rating changed from 1-star to 2-stars.

Yo F*** this company! Called and they said it would be 30 mins for 30-80 bucks for a key lock out, cool no problem! But then 30 mins pass. No call, nothing.about an hour later I call again and they say it will be another 30 minutes and then all of sudden I have 3 people call me asking if I still need help and when I ask what company they work for they all decide to hang up!

Then a guy name Steve stayed on phone but was hella mad when I asked him what company he worked for. Then dispatched called me again saying someone was on the way in about 20 mins then Steve calls me again and says he is on the way in 30 mins. Boom fast forward to the key lockout 2 hours later, Steve shows up and acts like nothing happened. As if I hadnt been waiting for 2 hours. long story short he charged me 120$ for a key lockout through Venmo and says its the base price for key lockouts for the company!

Couple words to Steve, you suck at your job you should fire yourself you bum! Couple words for the company. hire more organized contractors and organize your weak ass company!

Had an accident on my way back home from Oakland and got great customer service with a fair price. Driver was a chill and cool person to talk to on the way home! Recommend this towing company!

Do not use this service. They told me one price over the phone, but the technician then tried to charge me two to three times more (and asked for cash!) Even after I complained, the rate they charged was still at least 50% higher than it should have been. Bad news!

I would rate this business a ZERO star. This is a SCAM. During my trip to San Francisco, I was locked out my car with my keys inside the trunk (yes. I was stupid). The other stupid thing that I did was search for an auto locksmith using google instead of Yelp. I called these guys and they informed me that they will send me the locksmith in 45 to 60 minutes and asked for my credit card.

They told me that they will charge $49 as a service fee and I will be also charged a fee of $35-$85 by the technician based on the unlocking effort. I agreed to it thinking that they were legit and it was the standard procedure. I waited for almost an hour and a half and I didn't get any call from any of their technicians. In the meantime I yelped this place and found this was a scam so I called them again to cancel but they said they will not refund me the $49 fee.

I told them they did not send any technician within the agreed time but they asked me to wait some more time but there was no confirmation that they will be there on time. I was pissed. They say that they recorded my call and they won't refund me the money. They did not stick to their time. I even warned that lady that I am going to file a fraud dispute with my credit card company and she in turn blackmailed me saying that she has my recording and will fight back the dispute. Thoroughly unprofessional service plus a major scam. There are very good guys on Yelp with better reviews to help you. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE.

Called a this tow place as a last resort because I don't have AAA. Called to get a car out at 7:08. They took my info, my card number and told me that it would be about an hour, and if I cancelled, they would charge the card $49.00. Called at 8:31, no sign of a tow, and they said that it would be another 45 minutes. Called at 9:29, no tow, no call as to why, and I'm still stuck in my car.

They said about 15 more minutes. Guess what?! 15 minutes pass and no one is here. Completely and utterly unprofessional. FIND. A. BETTER. PLACE. FOR. EMERGENCY. ROADSIDE. ASSISTANCE!

If I could, i would give a "0" star. I just talked to an operator named jessica and she was very rude and she was not willing to help me. I had the worst phone experience ever. She was very disrespectful and unprofessional! I would not recommend this towing service at all especially if you need it urgently. Do yourself a favor and say no to this business.

My car ran out of gas and I called P&P towing and the dispatch said that the driver would get to me in 40minutes. The driver called me right after I hang up with the dispatch to make sure I was in a safe place. He arrived to my location 15 minutes after we talked. Great service totally recommend this company.

Dishonest business. I called for a tow quote. The agent refused and insisted I tell her how much I'm willing to pay. I got the distinct impression that she was trying to take advantage of me.

I can only speak for the towing services. DO NOT USE this service! I was ripped off and charged for services without being told what the price would be prior to the work being done. I needed to get my car from San Francisco to the dealer in Colma. I was quoted one price on the phone and I agreed to use their services. Right before the tow guy came, the tow guy called me back to confirm a different quote.

I told him that I was quoted something different earlier, he stated that there was no way that I had been given that quote and that I was mistaken. It was a $70 difference. I was trying to get to the dealer before the service and parts department closed and felt that I really had no choice but to use them. Once there, after buying the necessary parts that I needed.

He agreed to change my spare tire but didn't tell me that he would charge me or how much it would cost. He later charged me $45.00 to change the spare. (I would have asked the service department to change it for me, had I known the price beforehand). I also felt that I was taken advantage of because I am a woman and in a bind. I would never do business with them again.

Broke down and needed a tow the driver Juan showed up timely and provided great customer service. Really cool guy thank you guys for service would highly recommend.
