Called in for tow service on Monday 4-4-22 Lady says we have 8-10am 9-10am etc for Thursday I said I would like 8-10am so I can get it done before heading to work 9:30 Tow truck never showed up Called 5 times and only response is that the driver is looking for my address location Seems these guys are not very professional and organized If u need help asap don't call them You will wait forever First and last for me

Victor was great. Very nice and professional. This service was easy and convenient. I recommend using this towing company. Price for towing was $195 per hour. 2hrs minimum. They are the worst place in San Bruno, they pooped my trucks tires when they were towing it also put a dent on the side chasis. I called the supervisor and he did not even let me put my complaint, he said they were not liable for any damage and they had me on voice and video recording when the driver made me sign the receipt on the back for release of liability!

Can you imagine this? My truck has to be repaired tires, transmission and some other damages he did not including cosmetic damages. I don't have no money after this pandemic also they charge you $390 as soon as they get there that's the minimum.

Would not recommend. Driver was so late (the first time) that the shop was closed. So I pushed back to the following day, and the driver was about 30 minutes late again. Was quoted as $100-$150 and charged $250. Tow was only a few blocks, half a mile at most.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value This town company is garbage. They make you sign a liability paper before they do any work because they are incompetent. They damaged my entire vehicle. Popped the tires left a dent on the side broke transmission

This company is entirely unprofessional. I specifically requested a flatbed for a loaded F3 50 truck, and they brought a regular vehicle that could not hold the weight of our truck. They disconnected the rear differential without permission and that is not a legal method of towing a vehicle. When towing the vehicle back and hitting the brakes it would drag our truck behind it and safely and the vehicle would barely even stop.

They had one of my technicians inside the vehicle which was utterly unsafe. Then from there they told me specifically from the point of pick up to the point of drop off, that it would be a charge of 225 an hour with a three hour minimum. It took them four hours Because it took an additional hour for them to detach and reattach the differential on my truck. I will be disputing the credit card charge because this place is an absolute fraud.

I called to request a flatbed tow truck. I was told it would take forty minutes for a tow truck to arrive. I paid for it. An hour and a half later a tow truck showed up. Not a flatbed. I called the company to complain. They told me the flatbed was near by and arrived shortly. Four hours later the flatbed finally arrived bed. No communication. Unacceptable service. Wouldn't use them again.

Given ETA was 45 min.waited 2 hours and no show before being towed by another company. Service attendants continually put you on hold to avoid helping you with the issue.

Car died in my driveway since I'm not driving very much so I needed a jump. Called at 10:30, told me it'd be 15-20 minutes. They arrived at 12:15 but honestly I didn't really care about the tardiness since I'm home anyways. Two guys show up, both without masks. One starts approaching me so I politely asked if he could either put on a mask and/or keep his distance.

He rolled his eyes and went back to put a mask on. Then since my car was in the driveway and they apparently didn't have a long enough cable or a jumper battery, without asking they drove ONTO MY NEIGHBOR'S LAWN to get closer to my car. It wasn't until then that he told me how much it was going to be ($140) and to me that was ridiculous for a jump start.

I mean I have cables, I could just have a friend come over for free and jump for me. I told him it was too much and so then they started to leave. Not before my neighbor came outside to yell at them for being on their lawn. Advice: tell people the cost beforehand, wear a mask or at least ask if the customer prefers you wear one, and don't drive onto people's lawns without asking. I mean, hello? Is that not basic understanding?

Locked my keys in the car. Driver said it would take 20 mins to get to me. It did. Took like 5 mins to get my key out. COST $189. Totally not affordable.

Bad communication and untrustworthy. The driver said he'd be there in 40 minutes but took 1 hour and 40 minutes without notifying me of the delay. He charged the maximum quoted price for a jump start ($134 which is $40 more than base) even though there was no extra work - the jump start took 3 minutes. The cherry on top is that he didn't replace the battery cap at the end.

BEWARE! This company is a scam. We were charged $1800.00 instead of $180.00 and we can not get the matter resolved with multiple attempts. Also the company contracts out and uses G D Towing. They were unable to perform the task we requested service for. I have contacted BBB and Channel 7 on your side to request help in getting these guys exposed and protect future customers.

Rip off! They just subcontract to random guys who don't know anything about cars. I wasted 2 hours and nearly $50 today waiting for a "technician" who was just some bro in a Hyundai with short jumper cables. He couldn't start my car -- didn't even try. What a waste of time and money.

Over the phone, we were promised to be charged between $55 to $85 for a tow service. Then, the car got fixed with a jump start and towing was not even needed, but they charged for $150. Also, once I got the receipt, the merchant was GD towing (another tow company).

Had a flat tire in east Oakland and Mario came out and changed the tire In a professional, cordial and informative manner. It was a pleasure doing business with him via Toro Towing and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone

Guy was really nice. He arrived in 20 minuets! He also recharged my car so it could drive up on to the tow ramp! He gave me a very good deal as well. I would recommend Bruce Towing if your in a pinch and need services right away!

DO NOT USE! waited 45 minutes. tow showed up and hooked up my suv and had to tow only a few blocks down the street to a tire shop. charged me $227 and said it was because he provided full service plus special equipment for my rims? rip-off. never again will I use Bruce Towing. will send complaint to BBB.

I needed to get my car towed and when the tow truck came, Martin was the technician and was great. By the time he came, we got my car working. But he made sure that we were okay before leaving, but he was great. I'm lucky that Martin was the technician to help us out. He had an up beat personality and very friendly! Thank you again Martin!

*Scam alert* Do NOT waste your time and money with this so called 24/7 hour tow company. A friend of mine had a popped tire at 10pm and I came to keep her company on the side of the road, while she waited for this oh mighty Bruce to tow her car to safety. A woman on the phone ran her credit card and said that it would take 30-45 minutes for a dispatcher to arrive after we pinpointed the exact location.

They were a NO SHOW and NO RESPONSE. We called several times and the phone went to voicemail. Voicemail, busy signal, and no show. Wow. Thanks for leaving two girls stranded on the shoulder of a major freeway, just so you can scam "$120-175" service hold charge. Tomorrow morning we are going to call our credit card company and report them to the BBB. Unethical businesses are unacceptable in my opinion.

They told me it was going to take a hour for a tow, waited 3 hours. Called them was put on hold for more then 10 mins each time I called to ask after the first hour how long it will take. And they charge 50$ for cancellation, even when they take a extra 2 hours.

I called these guys to tow my motorcycle. They said it would cost $10/mile plus $85 extra because it was a motorcycle. Instead of sending their own tow truck, they sent somebody from GD Towing in San Francisco. I was towed 26 miles, but somehow they charged me $610. Complete rip-off. Do not call these guys unless you like getting screwed.

Pros: - Came in 1 hour Cons: - I paid $234 for a tow of only 0.4 miles - My car only needed a jumpstart (later confirmed by a mechanic I trust), but I ended up with an expensive tow because the tow driver said it could not be jumpstarted. In hindsight I think he may have had a dead portable battery. It was reading 0V across the terminals immediately upon being hooked to my car. Overall, I paid a lot for what might have been an unnecessary tow.

I can't prove it, but my hunch is that somebody like AAA, which has no financial incentive to perform unnecessary tows, would have made the roadside jumpstart work. All that said, I called a towing company and I got a tow within an hour, so how can I complain? 3 stars

A family member and I recently needed a tow, and a friend referred me to Bruce Towing. I am glad she did! Guy (the driver) was quick to help us, arriving within 15 minutes we requested the service. Great customer service, professionalism and low prices. Hopefully I won't need a tow again soon, but in case I do, I have their number saved.

I got stuck in the middle of the freeway, not a fun situation. I did a search and decided to call Bruce Towing. They took the time to chat with me over the phone and kept me calm and made sure I was in a safe area. They told me to turn on my hazard lights and stay inside the car. I was surprised how fast they arrived. The tow truck arrived within 15 minutes and the rest of the experience was smooth sailing. Totally recommend this company.

So, I gave them a call, got a quote and they replaced my battery without a hassle. It was quick, simple and affordable. The technician was friendly and honest. I’m very happy with the service I received.

Stupidly, I managed to lock my keys in the back of my car when I was about to leave for work. I couldn’t believe I’d done it but knew I had to get it sorted as soon as possible. I asked a friend if she knew of any good towing firms in the area and she directed me to Bruce Towing. I got a great quote for the work and they sent a member of their team out surprisingly quick.
