Pete�s Automotive is owned and operated by Jason and Emily Elder. Jason started out fixing cars for his friends in high school, and after graduating decided to make it his full-time career. He worked at Pete's for 10 years before becoming a partner. In 2007, when Pete retired, Jason took over and became the official owner.

I was extremely worried about finding a mechanic for my Lexus. A family member recommended that I try Pete's automotive. I just picked up my car, I couldn't be more happier with the results. Critical: Professionalism This place is horrible to even try to call for a quote. The woman was very rude didn't even try to help me with a reasonable price. They quoted me 200 dollars more than the dealership offered me. I would assume they would want business but it seems like they are doing well for themselves. I'll take my business elsewhere.

It's always a bummer right to have to take your vehicle in for repairs. You just know it's never gonna be good news. Like having a colonoscopy or wisdom teeth pulled, with no sedatives an no insurance. OUCH! But heading to Pete's, after consulting with receptionist, an talking to mechanic there, it just felt like sincere honestly an no BS. They were true to their word. Their rates are fair, the quality of service is epic. I'm just so glad I took time to find Pete's.

I really appreciate the excellent customer service I received at Pete's! They were honest and transparent. After two places suggesting I needed new shocks$$, Jason checked and let me know my shocks weren't currently leaking. He actually showed me my shocks and explained what I was looking at. Joni, at the front desk, was kind and hospitable! Thank you for amazing service and good old-fashioned honesty!

To get advice and to see if it was safe to drive to Tomales and back to have it fixed. He did his check, it was nothing important that he could find, said he turned the light off, could mean I had various minor thugs ( light bulbs, etc), if the light comes back on, make an Appt and he'd fix it. Safe to drive! No charge! Such a guy!!! You bet I'll go back!!!

We love Pete's automotive. Jason is an excellent mechanic and he is honest!! Joanie is the best....she is very knowledgeable about cars and the business. They have taken excellent care of our 72 Chevy Truck....who is named "Olive." They always refer to Olive by name when I call. I highly recommend Pete's Automotive, without reservation. They really do care.

This is the place to have your car worked on. I had a bunch of front end work and a tune up done there leading into Easter weekend. The day I picked up my car (05 Ford Escape) we headed straight for Tahoe and into a huge snowstorm. Never felt more confident in such difficult conditions. Made it safe and sound (even did a few donuts in the parking lot of the ski resort to celebrate). Thanks Petes Auto!

Best mechanic in Sonoma County! Jason is honest and knowledgeable and hires quality mechanics. We have been using him for more than 4 years for both of our cars and appreciate the high level of communication and customer service given by the entire staff. I was very pleased with the communication and service provided to us. We thought we had a complicated problem with the car and we got an honest answer after they diagnosed it.
