They were awesome! They fixed everything that needed done, they explain everything to me that needed done. They called about every update. They talk to you which was awesome made you feel like a part of the team. Very polite and outgoing! I definitely recommend this workshop! Thank you again! This place does amazing work, i have had several shops tell me that my converter and my speed sensors on my car were bad. They wanted to charge me a ton of money! Jim and sons took my car in, took at look at it, and told me there was nothing wrong with the car, they cleared the codes on my dash and got me back on the road. They even clamped my heat shield back on so it didnt make noise! They not only saved me money and time on car repairs, but they assured me that my vehicle ran great like its supposed to.

I do not believe there is any mechanic shop that is as honest and fair as Jim and Sons. They are over the top friendly., they do treat you like family. I was having something weird going on when braking. They were recommended to me. They got me in in a couple of days, looked at it, serviced it, and got it back to me quickly. Our 2014 Ford Transit Connect was having extremely rough shifts, and slipping gears with only 23k miles on it. Thanks to Wayne at Jim and Son's Transmission, it is running better than when we bought it. It was a small part that broke, but that small part ended up causing major issues. Wayne took his time showing us what the issue was, and the damage it caused.

I met Wayne and Heidi few years ago after working on my car I noticed how professional they are. Heidi takes care of the customers in extraordinarily way and Wayne takes care of the cars with great professionalism. Wayne & Heidi are very professional & available! Brought our Subaru Outback in for slipping transmission. Other shops AND dealership recommended a new transmission. > $7,000! Wayne was able to diagnose the issue quickly (low fluid), and perform overdue service on the transmission for a very reasonable price. Car is running perfectly now, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Very highly recommended.

I've never before had a thank you card sent from a mechanic. honestly I should be sending them one, since they fixed my oddball transmission at a good price. I can reverse now! you don't realize how much you use it until it's gone! also wayne put the shifter knob on oriented correctly which is awesome. how it was before wasnt horizontal and somewhat annoying. now it's they way it's supposed to be!

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 dually diesel 5.9 cummings truck. Prior to visiting Jim & Son's I was quoted outrageous prices to repair my transmission at two other local shops. I called Jim & Son's and spoke to Wayne. He was very knowledgable and friendly. I scheduled an appointment. A week later I was returned my truck and my costs were $1500 LESS than the other two shops. They even picked me up!!!! Don't forget to ask about billet parts for you transmission too. This place is top notch! Thank you Jim and Sons North Canton.

Great place. Went there based on Google Reviews and wasn't disappointed. I took my car in on a Monday with a shot transmission and got it back Friday in perfect working order. Wayne/Dawn contacted me almost daily with updates on the process and gave a good deal on some side repairs. Now I have my Equinox with a 24,000/2 year transmission warranty. I'm making this my go-to mechanic for any future car problems.

I had my tranmission rebuild they did a great job. Wayne walked me through it and called me everyday for 4 days it took plus gave me a car to rent for $22.50 a day. These people know there job. I have to take my car back in two weeks just to make sure all is well with it. Plus a 2 year warranty. Thank you for helping a widow out because what I miss most about my husband is making decisions about my car. So it great these guys stepped in I felt like I could trust them.
