Our experience with staff when we dropped the car off was very pleasant and friendly, some Hard parts in the transmission were broken (a clutch drum) and they had to be special ordered, (not a surprise we knew it was like that before we brought it. We are still waiting for the parts and the car back but I've had quite a few experiences with Rincon Transmission and refered many of my customers there, I have never had any problems from them nor have any people I referred to them, you might find a cheeper price but you won't get the same level of professional quality and service, Ken McDuffee

The only negative I have about this place is that I almost drove past it because I barely saw their sign. The place has "your Dad's shop" vibe to it. Now, the young lady that answered the phone is very pleasant and professional. All necessary information was given upfront. How long the repair would possibly take depending on parts availability and price.

They even have a drop box so you can drop your vehicle off after hours in the event your work schedule clashes with theirs. Quick diagnosis, I was called the very next day with the issue and a quote. Quality professional work done and I had them change the filter and fluid in my transmission while they had it. When dealing with engine and transmission work the price can get a bit high. This shop gave me what I was looking for at a reasonable cost. Oh, and a military discount.

While on vacation, our car popped a transmission error. Panic set in since we were nearly 20 hours away from home with 4 kiddos. Rincon was able to squeeze us in and take a look at the car. They helped identify why the error was popping and that our transmission is ok, just needs more breaks since its a smaller one and overheats easy. They were patient, kind, and understanding.

They also didn't charge us for their time. While, we live too far away to use them for all our service needs, I would recommend anyone in the area to do so! Thank you so much!

Super transparent and helpful folks. They explained what was going on with my transmission and gave me a price over the phone. They explained that I had a leak coming from a pressure port and was 4 qt low on oil and that it would cost around $135 for labor and oil. I DEFINITELY recommend these guys if you're looking for honest work.

These folks are great! I was sure I would be without my car for much longer than I was. Other places had me wait days to get fixed. They did it in one day. Will recommend them. I should have went to them the first time.

I cannot recommended this place enough. I am an out of towner and my transmission blew during vacation. They explained to me exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. The transmission needed to be rebuilt and cost 4200$. Well worth the price. Everyone was super friendly and understanding of my situation. If I ever have transmission issues I will gladly drive or tow my car the 4 hours to have these guys work on it!

From the moment we got there they made it clear that they wanted what was best for us, and gave us all the time we needed to make our own decision before doing any work. They always took the time to talk to us and explain everything so we could be sure of our decision. Rincon Transmission in Savannah is awesome! They were very professional, fast and service was great. They took my car, had it diagnosed and fixed within a day and for much less than I thought it was going to cost. Michelle was amazing, super friendly and assisted me with recommendations for towing which also saved me money. I definitely recommend that everyone use them. You will not be disappointed!
