Lakeland Transmission & Auto Service is an independently owned shop in Monticello, MN that opened its doors in January of 1998. Though our business was started with a emphasis on transmission repair it soon become evident that there was a great deal of problems with the rest of the vehicles systems that would affect the transmission and so a certified general repair technician was added to the staff. As business grew so did the need for more equipment and space.In the year 2000 we expanded our transmission rebuilding facilities, added 4 more hoists, and purchased more up to date equipment and added more staff. Our growth has allowed us to control the quality of our service and increase our commitment to our customers that they receive the best service and products available.

We have any of our repairs on our car and truck taken care of with Lakeland. Because of the time consuming head light repair on my Passat, he called and asked if we wanted the other one done before anything quit working. Saved us $300 since the bumper was already off my car. If there is something he cannot do, he sends us to what he feels is the best. He has never led us wrong! Highly recommend!

I've had several vehicles serviced at this shop and have always been extremely happy with their service and prices. They've given me very reasonable quotes, and when it came time to pay up, it was less than quoted. Friendly, knowledgeable and no sales pressure to perform pointless maintenance.
