Brian and his staff go above and beyond to ensure the work that you request is the work that is performed. You know all of your options prior to the work being executed. They stand firmly behind the work performed. This shop clearly knows transmission repair and If your looking for a performance transmission look no further.
As for a couple of the other reviewers on here. Based on my experience with Brian and his staff. If you simply would have taken the time to call and address your concern, there is no doubt in my mind that Brian would have provided you with an appropriate explanation. Herb's Transmission is such a great place in Canton to get a transmission fixed. The automatic transmission in a Ford Fusion I own was acting up and needed to be rebuilt. Brian, the owner, really took the time to explain what the problem was and what needed to be fixed. Great service, really fair prices (I checked around!).

I had the greatest experience at Herb's Transmission Service. I only dealt with the owner Brian and he was always kind, courteous and helpful. He explained what the issue was, got the work done in the time frame he stated and at a great price. I would recommend Herb's to anyone I know having any sort of transmission issues!

I went to Herb's Transmission because my 2009 Honda transmission stopped moving on me completely. Brian the owner was the man who helped me through everything. He ran a diagnostic test and checked out the issue. After they performed there testing Brian specifically called me back and told me he had bad news and good news. The bad news was, I needed a new transmission, the good news is, it was covered under an extended warranty at Honda. Brian went the extra mile to find out if I was covered and called Honda to make sure they would cover me in full.
He also contacted the service department and had an appointment set up for me to come in. From my experience here I would say they are honest people and they give honest advice. I would recommend Herb's Transmission to everyone!!

I spent almost three months talking back and forth with Brian about ideas for a transmission build in my 02 dodge cummins. We finally came up with a setup I thought fit my driving habits and I was really impressed with the products, there was also a really fast turn around to get the truck back.
