Our family of five were on vacation from out of state when my brake caliper decided to seize up, causing the other side to overcompensate and become overheated. The vehicle wasn't driving properly and emitting a horrible burning smell. Could've been an extremely dangerous situation with how far we would've had to travel to try to make it home in one piece.

That same evening as we arrived back to the hotel, and I was feeling pretty daunted that something like this would happen right in the middle of our trip. I got on Google and started looking up reliable, economical repair shops in hopes that someone could help us right away. I knew it was a long shot, but I tried to stay positive, and wow did we hit the jackpot!

First place I came across was Last Chance Auto Repair. We decided to give them a call since they seemed to have wonderful reviews, and they did not disappoint! It was the only place we needed to call! My husband spoke with Ron who understood our situation and graciously agreed to fit our repair in between their extremely booked schedule the very next morning.

My vehicle was repaired and back on the road before the kids even woke up to start the day! Thanks a million to everyone we dealt with- Ron, Sherri, and the amazingly fast and knowledgeable mechanic Greg. This place knows their stuff and will not break the bank! I wish they had a location closer to where we live because this is the only place we would take our vehicles going forward. Outstanding experience! A true God send. Been hearing a rattling sound coming from my car for months. Called Last Chance Auto Repair (better late than never) to schedule an appointment. On arrival the staff listened to what I had to say, gave me some input about what was going on and then let me know within the hour the diagnosis, options, numbers and turn around time. Turned out that the pucks inside my catalytic converter had failed which was causing this rattling noise. Upset yes, catalytic converter replacement isn't cheap.

On the other hand, I was so happy to hear that they were actually covered through a manufacture warranty due to known issues. They went out of their way and worked things out with the local Acura dealership, replaced my catalytic converters for FREE and the only charge was the diagnostic fee. I couldn't have been more pleased and will definitely be back for any and all of my service needs.

My Honda's catalytic converter failed according to the local Honda dealership and they wanted way too much money which I simply couldn't pay. Ron, Corry & the team over at Last Chance Auto Repair is as good as it gets! They have taken care of me and my fleet of family cars since we moved to Plainifeld many years ago. Being thorough and honest is only a couple of things that I can always count on to say the least. They always try to educate me and never push services or maintenance down my throat that I don't need, they just simply explain what preventative maintenance is all about.

When my car needs help I usually find out after my oil change and FREE 32 point inspection. After the service we talk about what is all going on, my options and the best plan of attack. They've changed our brakes on every car, oil changes are a ritual, shocks & struts, computer diagnostics, air conditioning recharge, basically anything and everything.

We've even owned a lemon (or 2), where after a little meeting, we concluded that the repairs needed will well exceeded the value of the vehicle. So, they did recommend that we start searching for a new and or used replacement. I highly value their honesty; they could have made a killing on all the repairs that were needed. After we found something we brought it to them for a pre-purchase vehicle inspection to play it safe.

I had to have my car towed so I got Mike and he was so nice he checked the alternator too it was actually both were on the way out so they were willing to work qith me on price. not cheep but not to expensive. they do the work they say they will do and won't so anything until you say so! Brought my newly purchased used 2008 Acura MDX for a tune-up last week to make sure everything was up to par and once again, Cory came thru and addressed all the issues. Last Chance Auto is very accommodating and understands your needs. I had my SUV towed to their location and they called me right away to let me know that they had my car and to find out what was wrong with it. They kept in communication with me throughout the day and even helped me with coupons to reduce the financially stress. This is the first time I used them and they seem very fairly priced.

I took my 2007 Nissan Altima to have my brakes fixed. Thought it might be a CV joint turned out to need new bearings and rotors. Price was what I had expected. The service though was excellent. I've had some clunker cars in the past and dealt with repair shops a lot. I've had places that have swindled me and made me feel stupid and I've had decent little shops that treat me like I'm a normal human being.

I've finally found my auto repair go to place they treated me like a normal person not some dumb woman that doesn't know anything about cars. They filled my tires and topped all my fluids which I didn't expect. These are guys that like to work on cars. They're not out to swindle and tell you all the things you should have done. They tell you what needs to be done and what you might need down the road.

I was moving in 3 days and my car was breaking down. I called them an hour before they closed. They agreed to meet me and when I got there test drive my car and diagnosed it. Even though I wasn’t able to have it fixed they were super helpful and when I was in a time crunch they were able to accommodate me in every way. I would suggest their services to anyone.

This is my new go to auto repair shop near me. Knowledgeable and and very friendly staff. I had a misfire issue due to my spark plugs being way overdue for replacement. Replacing the plugs made a huge difference but unfortunately the misfire was still there. They explained to me since I took forever to change my plugs carbon built up on the piston rings which was causing the problem. So they offered me a fuel system cleaning service which rectified the issue and also increased my fuel economy. Thanks for the help and education!
