I had went to Greg one year ago today before making a big move to Florida to have a all around check of my car to assure my family and I made it safe. He was very honest, efficient, and thorough! He explained everything he was doing to the vehicle before it was done and the state of my car. Fast forward to today I took my car to the dealership for a tire rotation and just a all around look of the car in Florida to make sure everything was still great (I have had no issues just a check up while I was there), they told me my car was PERFECT!

I have never had a dealership say this to me, dealerships are hard to impress. I payed a great rate for what feels like a brand new car, I recommend Greg to everybody in the Harford or Baltimore county area!

My car broke and hardly made it to the shop. Mr. Greg checked it and helped me solve the issue. He was patient, accommodating and got my car fixed in 2 days. I was so happy to find this place. I had a differential problem I thought would be expensive and they took the time to tell me where the problem was and saving me big bucks. So I asked Greg to look at other areas (since I knew this place has integrity above the usual shops). They fixed two other repairs, safety concerns, and I'm extremely happy with the work. On a late Friday afternoon, I had an overheating car emergency and after calling Greg at Golden Ring Car & Truck Repair that evening, I was able to bring the car in first thing in the morning. (One of the VERY FEW places that does wok on Saturday.) Greg was EXTREMELY accommodating and after extensive troubleshooting, explained that although he couldn't duplicate the problem, find anything out of the ordinary or tell me exactly what the problem was, he concisely explained possible causes and the cost of possible fixes.

Unlike other repair places, he didn't try to sell me on "needed" or unnecessary work and parts. This showed me that he is VERY knowledgeable and has strong business ethics! He will always get my return business! I highly recommend Golden Ring Car & Truck Repair.

Greg the owner is really nice and honest. After taking my Equinox to a local shop in Perry Hall, they basically told me my engine was dead and needed a replacement which would cost approximately $4000. I received many quotes from other auto shops but after speaking to Greg, he was up front, honest, and very professional. He told me he could rebuild it for a much lower rate. I took my car to Greg and he performed the engine work. He did an awesome job. Very friendly, affordable, and efficient. I will definitely return for future repairs.

Nice people, seemed quite competent. They have a few cats around who were very friendly, but it's something to note in case of allergies. Our uhaul was a bit dirty and they offered to immediately clean it. The only knock I'll give is the inside (especially the ceiling) is in serious need of renovation. Overall seemed like a great place.

I took my relatives Hyundai in for a state inspection, to transfer ownership after a death in the family. Greg was upfront and honest about the work that was needed to pass inspection. The repairs where done by the time he had promised, and the quality of the work was good. He is willing to work with you on the details. Although the total was a bit more than I expected, he honored their online coupon and I saved $ 50.00. The car looks and drives great. I began using Golden Ring Auto and Truck about 4 years ago. At first it was for a company box truck that was heavily used and on its last legs. Greg and his team did what we needed each time we brought it in. With having several good experiences using this shop I began taking my personal vehicles there for maintenance. They get the diagnostics done pretty quickly to let you know what the problems are and what they can do to repair. Greg will typically walk you through the repair options and costs associated.

He understands that the average Joe/Jane can't afford a complete overhaul so breaking down in order of priority is very helpful. His prices are reasonable and his customer service has been superb. Just a few months back I took my wife's explorer in for some work. Needed a new master cylinder on the brake system. After work was complete we took it home and noticed a brake fluid leak days later. Contacted Greg he had me drop it back off, he took a look called me within a couple hours told me the part was bad and replaced it immediately.

This actually happened 2 more times. There was a defect in the part from the manufacturer that didn't allow for a proper seal. My point is that greg spent many additional hours on this vehicle and never even brought up additional costs. You always hear stories from people having to take their car back to a mechanic then the mechanic finding another reason to charge you more.

He doesn't do that. IM SAYING HE STANDS BY HIS WORK. Finding a good mechanic is hard to do. The next time you need one I would recommend walking into his shop. He'll come out, shake your hand, look you in the eye and explain what he can do for you. No BS.

I've always been extremely happy at Golden Ring Car. My family has several cars and we always are treated great. I would recommend them to anyone.

I was travelling to Philadelphia to move my daughter to school. My van was loaded with her things when I hit a pothole leaving Baltimore. As it turned out my van needed a shock absorber and tires. I fortuitously happened to find GRC and T Repair. I was given prompt and accurate mechanical attention. My van was able to continue the move within 3 hours of breakdown and runs perfecty. I completed my daughters move to Philly on time with minimal stress thanks to GRC and T Repair.

Thank you Golden Ring Auto and Truck. I have used your services in the past and always been happy. But this time I had a repair and made mistake of going to a "local" repair facility. I knew right away something was not right as they immediately identified my problem but told me to come back tomorrow when the new part came in. I asked if it was something that could be fixed instead of just buying a new part and was told no.

What a difference as you have done in the past you took my car in and about an hour later you had it running like brand new. And guess what instead of spending $700 it was a $120 fix. You guys are great and I have learned my lesson, I will make sure I tell all my friends to come see you as you all are the best.

I've been using Golden Ring Car and Truck repair for a couple of years for both my 2010 Camry and my wife's 2005 Ford Explorer. We have always been very happy with the work. The first time I used Golden Ring Car and Truck repair was to get a 2nd opinion, I was told by a large tire / auto repair chain that I needed a new rear differential on my wife's Explorer. Greg told me the differential could be re-sealed and didn't need to be replaced.

I saved around 2k thanks to Greg and have never had any additional problems with the rear differential.

Honest! This shop was able to take me as a walk in immediately. I was experiencing brake failure on my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I was told by Thompson Dodge, there were no Recalls on my model and year of Jeep. They expected me to leave my vehicle with them for over a week so they could charge me for the work. So thankfully I found Golden Ring Truck and Car Repair.

I limped my Jeep in and they took it back to the garage immediately. Within 30 minutes the gentlemen was back to deliver the verdict. He said he could fix it. But rather than just do the work and charge me (which because of Thompson Dodge, I would have been none the wiser). He did some research and found out there was indeed a recall! I then took it to a dealer that could and would do all of the recalls.

Case in point, this shop will bend over backwards to do what is best for you. I myself am a mechanic and he didn't try to play me for a fool or rip me off. I know where I'll go in the future if need be. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! Thank you again!
