Husband dropped his car off after talking to someone and it sat for three days and no one had even looked at it for an estimate. When he called on Day 2 he was told, "I'll get to it" but couldn't get an answer as to when he'd actually get an estimate. Had the guy he talked to not promised to deliver an estimate the same day the car was dropped off, we would have went somewhere else to begin with.
Most of us don't have the luxury of renting a car for several days or a week just to get an estimate! I get that places are busy, but "I'll get to it whenever" is not a proper response and this is some horrible customer service. My husband to it to another place and got an estimate within 3 hours.

They told me to drop it off and they would look at it that day. 2 days later and still had not looked at it, when I told them I was going to pick it up they gave me attitude. Would not use them or recommend them they just want to get your car there and hold it hostage and keep saying they will get to it. Service: Transmission

Very professional and thorough! I needed a vehicle inspection done and they got me in same day without any problems. I forgot to call them back before I showed up and they were even understanding of that. They looked through everything with a fine comb and showed me exactly what was going on with it. It helped me negotiate price on a used car, which you can't really do nowadays. They were also honest about what needed immediate attention and what could wait. I can't say enough good about these guys and their service.

I have used Danco several times. Mike and Joe are so helpful and friendly. They really treat you like family. They listen and are eager to help because they care. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely amazing service! Mike was so helpful when assessing my vehicle's needs. He was very honest, extremely fair and a true pleasure to work with both times my husband and I visited for our respective vehicles many years apart. We both received the save amazing service. Danco changed my starter that I provided brand new in my Expedition. Then told me it was bad and that they put one in that they bought and charged me for the "new" starter. When I asked for my brand new one back so I could return it for a refund it was mysteriously missing. After much searching they decided they indeed installed MY starter and refunded me for the one they claimed to install.
I've driven the car 2 times and the starter goes out AGAIN, completely seized up. Go to Take the starter out and what do you know the top bolt that's super hard to get to is completely missing. Nowhere to be found! They never put it back in, just tightened the bottom two bolts super tight. Danco where is my top bolt to my starter? And had the nerve to call me and ask me to remove my previous review.

I have taken my car's to be serviced just about everywhere you can imagine and for the most part I either get shotty service that may have been cheap at the time but cost me in the long run, or I get hurried and feel like I have been talked down to. So when the new car that was still under warranty broke down you can imagine the Anxiety. My warranty covered 2 places I could take it to so I called them both and Danco sent a tow truck to retrieve it. Jason quickly went to work figuring out what the problem was.
So when he called to let me know it was finished unfortunately it wasn't covered by my warranty! I was devastated. And that is saying it lightly. But thank goodness Jason worked with me which floored me. Big companies seem to just look at the money and forget about the ppl. Not here! They fixed my car, got me back on the road and I will never take my car anywhere else. So if your looking for quantity service and reasonable prices look no farther than Danco.

About 8 months ago my engine blew while under warranty. due to the fact that things were not replaced correctly or in a timely manner I had to get my vehicle fixed ASAP. where the mechanics at CarMax where the warranty was from couldn't repair the issues, engine replacement, they had caused Danco came to my rescue. their careful work on my vehicle and communication with me was phenomenal. flash forward 8 months, while the engine they had installed was under warranty with them there was a misfire in my cylinder. I brought in and they were able to have me back on the road with no more issues since. great job guys ill be seeing you hopefully not soon! I recommend this company!!!

Nice, friendly family operated business. I was not sure who to contact to repair my brakes. Found this business. Donna answered when I called and she sounded very nice and courteous. The waiting area was decent compared to the tiny shops I have gone to before, especially important because I had to wait to drive my car home. I was impressed with another customer who told me she would not go to any other auto repair shop because of their good service which gave me relief. Price was comparable, no complaints. This will probably be my go to for auto repair.

I worked with Joe at Danco and he was great. I had them conduct a pre-purchase inspection on a pre-owned vehicle I was considering. Since I don't live in the area, I relied on previous reviews to try to find a reputable shop to be my eyes. Joe and his team conducted a thorough inspection, provided a written report, and spent time explaining his findings. The price was fair and the quality was excellent. I highly recommend them. I love this place and the people who work here :) they are extremely helpful and understanding and are HONEST. They dont try to trap you into paying for things you dont need. And they actually CARE. Its the best thing ever when you find a good honest family owned business with people that actually worry about their customers instead of people who are all about money and could care less about the quality of their work. This is a GREAT place to take your vehicles!

Joe and the Danco Team provide great service, all around. I had the transmission on my 2002 Lexus RX300 rebuilt and they did a fantastic job. The one thing that I liked the most is that they provided me with options. I was extremely pleased with service. I highly recommend Danco Transmission for any of your automobile service needs.

I own a small local business with multiple trucks. In the last year we have had two of those truck go down because of transmission failures. Both were taken to Danco and within days they were back on the road which is very important. Every day those trucks are down, money is not being brought in. I cannot speak highly enough about the great customer service, quality of service, and how quickly they got us back up and going. I would recommend this company to anyone.

My experience with Danco was nothing but positive. I brought in an older car that needed substantial repair. Most garages will not service it, and most dealers will not either. They fixed it, at the quoted price (less than 1/3 that of the dealer). Everything about the business gave me confidence in their ability to repair my car, and would not hesitate to bring it there for any future maintenance or repair. The place is very professionally run.

THESE GUYS WERE GREAT. My van turned 100k and I thought I need my transmission flushed. They looked at the fluid and said it didn't. Imagine that, a repair shop honest enough to turn down work. They then check my break. Again, no need for work. So they rotated my tires for free. They were great. They even brought me back to look at everything under the van.In the end, they spent almost an hour with the vehicle and didn't charge me anything. AMAZING. I only wish I lived around here, I would go there everytime.

I went to Danco today to get my transmission serviced on my 99 Lexus GS 300 with 180K miles on it and I am sure happy I did. I originally had an appt. with Midas but immediately canceled it after reading yahoo answers about taking your car to a specialty shop for tranny work. I arrived at Danco spoke with Donna who was helpful and quick to get my car serviced.
After about a 1/2 hour Marty grabbed me from the waiting room and sat me down to discuss my options. He told me they couldn't service it because it would do more damage then good and also reviewed any other engine codes that came up. We talked about my cars history and he asked if I had cleared my codes after my break down last winter. I said no and he then cleared my codes for me and sent me on my way.
The moral of the story is that sometimes getting your transmission service on a high mileage car can do more bad than good and the staff at Danco was able to identify that. Grade A service.

Love this place. This is my new car shop! I thought my car had an electrical issue. I called many shops and they would not touch it. The one that said they would said they would charge $86 per hour just to diagnose it. Then I called Danco and a friendly professional voice greeted me on the phone. They told me they would diagnose it without charge.
I towed the car in and it turned out to be an oil leak on the spark plugs. They got me fixed and on my way at a totally reasonable price. I am a lady that doesn'tand I know much about cars but I know good service and that's what this place is all about. They made it possible for me a single mom to give my daughter a good running car. Love the people, love the service, love this place and would recommend it to anyone, any day! Thanks Marty and thank you entire Danco crew!

Going to Danco was the best thing I could have ever done. They are very nice, understanding, and very helpful. I will never go anywhere else for car care. They put a whole new engine in my vehicle in 4 days where everyone else said it would take a couple of weeks. I highly recommend Danco to everyone.

This family owned small business has worked hard, consistently offering second to none customer service and quality work to grow into the Danco that's around today. Never abandoning that family business mentality, prioritizing taking care of their customers. Our first experience here, they identified the issue and fixed it in less than 30 minutes and told us to be safe and they were not charging us for the work as it didn't take extensive effort on their part to resolve - even though it was something I was unable to identify and resolve on my own.
