Thought my '13 Malibu needed a trans fluid top off (there's no dip stick to check in my car). Man on the phone quickly figured out that it did not need a top off (by asking a few simple questions). Most shops would've just took my money even though my car didn't need it. That's a fact. I got quoted $80 from a different shop. Next time I have a problem with my car: I'm definitely going to give these guys a try.

I work at Dix and Goddard my wife's transmission went back Shawn the owner had it rebuilt quickly plus made it shift a little tighter than original my wife loves it. When we have a bad transmission at work we leave it to our customer to decide if they want a used one or new.s&s is so reliable and not overly priced they are know our only one stop transmission shop. Thanks Shawn for being there when we need you brother we send a lot of customers there. Customer is ALWAYS ALWAYS satisfied

Waited to post this review until I gave the transmission a good work out. Well about 25,000 miles after the rebuild she is still going strong and is used to tow regularly. Prices were very fair and the job was done in a reasonable amount of time. Also very trustworthy and took the time to explain the rebuild in detail. I will be back in the future for all transmission needs.

My experience with s&s from start to finish was great. I dropped my Impala SS off for a transmission rebuild and it was done quickly, and for the price quoted as well, $1307. On all occasions that I spoke to Sean during the process he was kind and helpful and ready to answer any of my questions. I highly recommend.

They did a bench rebuild for my 1996 GMC 1500 4160E trans. great price, in the time promised, and were courteous and communicative. Had an issue with the valve body which is a known issue and Sean had me bring it back and took care of it. Drive very slow as you approach downtown River Rouge as the cops are there watching for speeders. I would recommend S & S to a friend and will return (hopefully I won't need to). :-)
