In 1997, Carolina Tire began as Pineville Tire & Service Center a single auto service & repair station. This auto repair shop was located near Charlotte on Pineville Rd at I-485 and was originally branded as a Firestone tire center. Then XL Tire, Inc purchased the assets of Pineville Tire and changed the name to Carolina Tire. From this one store operation, Carolina Tire has grown tremendously under the leadership of Mr. Seidel.

Mr. Seidel has been nationally recognized by manufacturers like Bridgestone Tire and Continental Tire as a turn-around expert. His 20 years experience in manufacturing and management in the U.S., Canada, Latin America and China are all brought together for you in the form of the best dealership you can have to service your cars and trucks.

In 2009, Carolina Tire was transformed even better by adding a Master Technician, now making us a European Specialty Facility and Charlotte's Car Care Center. In addition to the automotive repair facility XL Tire, Inc. also owns and operates 3 specialty websites.
