Services
The Crain Companies began as "Paul Crain Wholesale" in Searcy, Arkansas in the early 1950s. Mr. Paul", Larry Crain Sr.'s father, started out "peddling" tire repair items, health and beauty aids, fishing tackle and other general merchandise out of the trunk of his car. His customers were primarily small town "mom and pop" grocery stores and service stations.

I dropped off my 18 Denali at 8AM. I called almost a week ago to set up this appointment. There was a rubbing sound when I turned the wheel left or right while driving. I purchased the vehicle from This dealership a year ago. I recently refinanced and purchased a different warranty. I've had some work done to my vehicle at this dealership before and had no issues.it's now 2:56 and I've left 3 messages.

I didn't start calling until noon though.no one has called to tell me what's wrong with it or get the warranty company's information to pay for the repair. On my last call I spoke to a woman who said she was the "Sales Manager" she claims the calls roll over to her when they're either on the phone or with a customer. Call me crazy but 7 hours is to long to have a vehicle and you not touch check in with the owner.

I not sure there reputable at all. Shady practice to buy a vehicle. Sell it and still not payed for the car. If they confident enough to sell it then they should of paid for it in full, to keep it on the up and up. It was sold in good faith. But not dealt with by Dealer in good faith imho

Anything they will include with purchase will be included in your payment. Anything they offer for free is tacked onto your loan they will just extend loan to hide it. They will not tell you your rate or loan term until after you start signing papers. They will not give you any paperwork on any of your contracts to keep you from using them or cancelling them. They will make decisions for you on warranties and rates and not tell you until afterward.

Crain Hyundai of Bentonville preys on the elderly, sells Lemons, refuses to follow the AR Lemon Law, have had my in-laws car for nearly 4 months and could resolve this with 1 phone call to refund the warranty, HPP and Gap, but we've been told they are too busy with "month end" to be bothered to resolve our Lemon Law Claim. The dealership manager Paul Portz ignores phone call, emails and generally won't communicate unless you appear in person.

In addition to other serious mechanical issues (leading to the Lemon Law Claim), the car is also on a National Recall with a letter being sent by Hyundai advising not to park the car in the garage because it's a fire hazard. We have repeatedly tried to resolve this amicably for months but to no avail. Go buy a car somewhere where they stand behind their products and treat their elderly customers with respect and dignity. Go to MCLARTY DANIEL instead and don't buy yourself the headache of a Hyundai.

AVOID. I bought a new vehicle online. Delivered the new vehicle to my home in El Dorado. Never test drove it. Didn't inspect it because it was new. Sold and delivered me a NEW Ford Escape that had over 12000 miles on it! Tried to come to amicable agreement. The managers were never available and wouldn't get on the phone with me or my wife. Unbelievable.

Crain Chevrolet has been the WORST car buying experience in my life. It took over 5 hours of going back and forth to then find out that the car would not be available to drive home on Saturday! The Salesperson, Aprea (Cookie) Harris had NO IDEA what she was doing and Nick Busby is not an honest or forthcoming finance manager! He tried to force the "Crain Care Package" and was upset when I refused, so he says "I have to make money somewhere" and decided to not apply all available discounts to my sale. I will NEVER purchase from Crain Chevrolet again and I will NEVER refer anyone to such an unorganized car business.

I bought a dodge caravan for my family of 6 two years ago from Crain Conway and was asked if we wanted their power train warranty. We said of course it's more insurance. We were told we had to get oils changes there and had to drive over 100 miles round trip every time for two years. The last oil change was done around the holidays and we couldn't get down there so we had it done closer to home.

Now my transmission has blown so what do I do I call Crain about the warranty. We have been denied several times based on nothing. Fist time we were told it had to have a transmission service at 60,000 miles that was a lie it's actually 120,000. Then we were told we missed oil change well we didn't and they gave us a form to have our mechanic fill out, copy of his ASE certification, and a receipt.

Proof much? Then we were told we are denied because we drove too much in too little time. It's my van right? I have to drive it right? How much I drive it or don't drive it is nobody's business and that is a cop out. Crain has really disappointed me as a customer. I used to like them but they aren't trying to help us. If we were buying oh believe they'd try to sell and we'd be important.

I feel like now that I've bought it they are saying your not our problem. This is crooked and downright bad business. Think before you use them please. We have been through so much turmoil with them over this. It's not worth it. Pay attention to reviews when buying a car I will from now on.

Why is zero stars not an option? traded in my vehicle august 19, 2019. today is Sept 12, 2019 and they still have not paid off my old loan that i traded in! So i guess i will have to make double car payments (old and new car) until they decide to do their job! I have been talking with the lady at the dealership and all of the paper work is done by the corporate office and she stated that she had an entire list of people that they haven't paid off their old loan from buying a car from them! Do not buy from Crain!

I purchased a 2018 Ford Flex, brand new off the showroom floor from Crain Ford in Jacksonville. I have brought it in every 5k miles for service (oil change, tire rotation). A service which I paid for with a service contract. Fast forward to Feb 15, 2020, during my service I was told that I would need new front tires because they were at 2/32, and the rears were at 5/32.

I question the issue because I had purchased the service contract and they should have been rotated several times. Come to find out on the first service and at some point in between they were not rotated. They were willing to give me 10% off new tires, how gracious of them. Because of their screw up I had to shell out $975.60 at discount tire. The Flex only had 22,875 miles which was within the tire manufacturer warranty and the new vehicle warranty. Hankook denied the claim that was submitted because they don't cover excess tire wear on OE tires.

Not sure why Ford wouldn't do anything under the new car warranty either. GM, Mike McGee acted like I was bothering him when I first called and then left work early to go and talk to him face to face. He even had the audacity to talk down to me when I questioned why my tires were not rotated every 5k miles like was supposed to happen because I PAID FOR THE FRICKIN SERVICE CONTRACT! Tim was the only one that I had faith in when I used that dealership.

I will never deal with Crain again. I am also seriously considering switching brands considering Ford customer care has been less than stellar throughout this process. Over the years I have purchased several vehicles from Crain Ford. I WILL NEVER buy from a Crain dealership again, they do not care about their customers only their money.

Don't know where to really begin but I do know that I will never purchase another vehicle from a Crain dealership. The sales manager at the Mazda dealership is the epitome of "used car salesman". He likes to act like he has power to run the dealership until you start asking some moderate to tough questions, and then he pawns it off on upper management.

I purchased a car and drive it 140 miles, which roughly 30 of them were back and forth to the dealership to get an item that they forgot to give me when I purchased the car. Under their "100 hour" love it or leave it policy, you can only drive 100 miles as well - it's in the fine print in the back of your contract. I tried to take my vehicle back under the policy and they wanted me to take $5000 blood bath for a 3 day old car.

This is what I call customer service. When I was buying my car, said salesmanager (refuse to list his name) played games with the financing rates as well. He said he could use coupons to lower the rate with his bank along with some other BS. I temporarily forgot if I was buying a car or purchasing groceries at Kroger since we were using coupons. Shady could be his middle name. With that said, we won't be back and everyone that reads this post has been warned.
