Howie's Tire & Alignment

We drove here from Tucson and was wondering if our tires were ok or not. We took it to Howie's to check. They are very honest and recommended that we did not need new ones.

Howie has been my go-to for years and has delivered quality work and parts every time. other auto techs in the valley have told me he's, hands down, the most knowledgeable in the valley.

We had studded tires put on our Subaru and ordered a set of tires for our truck. Excellent service and price. Howie is great. Honest, knowledgeable and patient. Feel like we have known him for years. We will definitely always take our vehicles to Howies.

This guy knows his stuff! I have taken all of my cars there and have got nothing but the best experience. He has saved me so much money on what dealership's have told me would cost thousands he's has fixed the exact problem for half the cost and is up front about what costs what and why. Completely fixed my 4Runner for a wrong catalytic converter that the Toyota dealership said saw maybe a fuel pump.

That would set me back $880. Took it to Howie, the catalytic converter was from a Subaru. Fixed it for $500 with new exhaust piping. SUV was apple to oranges different. I have about 4 other times when I asked myself why didn't I take to Howie's first. Les Schwab has messed my cars up so many times. I ask Howie first now for everything.

They were very professional, efficient and helped me out when I really needed it! So glad they were open and able to get my truck in the very next morning. I truly appreciate their hard work and excellent job! They fixed my muffler and exhaust - my truck is a whole other vehicle and is sooo quiet and smooth running now. I highly recommend their service to anyone! : and at very reasonable price for their hard work.

Earlier this summer I stopped in to check prices on getting my AC fixed on my 2007 Accord. He gave me a great price and was able to fit me in on the spot. Next, I was having issues with my steering rack bushings on my 2007 Tundra. Most places require the replacement of the entire steering rack which runs upwards of $1400 installed, but I was able to find aftermarket bushings and Howie was happy to give it a shot.

When it was all said and done I got the bushings installed, truck aligned, all in a timely manner. The bushings work great, the price was a fraction of what other shops had quoted me and Howie has gained a permanent customer. I couldn't recommend them enough.

The man is very honest and treated me with the upmost respect. Prices were very fair. I normally hate going into tire shops, however at Howie's there were no additional fees or hard sells.

My daughter and I have used Howie for 20 years and he is the BEST.reliable, honest, personable and always gets the job done. I think he is the best in the Flathead Valley for tires, alignment, brakes, shocks, etc. And he always answers the phone himself. Amazing!

Having some serious issues with my truck still after taking it into a previous franchise auto service. Im new to area and used the reviews to find Howie's Tire and Alignment. Took her in and now thanks to Howie and his advice my truck is now running way Better and it did not cost a dime.

Some time i know whats wrong with my rigs and sometimes i do NOT. Howie is always willing to listen to my side and always says "ok great we will check it out." first and gets back to me with what they actually need. he listens and hits a base hit every time and once in a while it feels like a home run. he is a solid player in the mechanic world you want on your team.

Excellent service and pricing. We were travelling through Whitefish. They fixed our flat and reinstalled our spare under the truck fast and at a very reasonable rate. Friendly too.

Top-notch service from a honest man who knows about cars. Not only that but Howie gave me a much better price than any of the large chains in the area. I would be a repeat customer based on the service alone, add better prices to that and I'm a customer for life.

I've been using Howie's since 2010. Always great service without ever trying to sell you something. Howie is always great to deal with, even when he is buried with work. I'd highly recommend him for all your tire needs and other minor repairs.

Howie is great! He and his team offer a wide assortment of services from tires (obviously) to full on auto repair. I have been taking our vehicles there for years and just recently had to get 5 new tires for our Rover. After calling around town to try to find a decent price, I decided to call Howie, again. Well, he really came through again. His prices were just $5 more than Costco, including mounting and everything. So, those $5 go to a LOCAL business that isn't a complete pain in the rear to deal with. Howie's rocks.
