I had a great experience here! My car had some serious squeekage going on - my anxiety was peaking! After searching for reputable shops in Longmont, I decided I'd give Hayes a shot! I gave them a ring, my call answered by the most friendly voice! She told me she had availability, so i swooped on over! The lead mechanic was very kind and to the point!

They had a team of people look my car up and down, making sure everything was where it needed to be! They were timely, thorough, and respectful! After my inspection, they identified key issues inhibiting my vehicle and explained them to me in a clear, understandable manner. I was able to comprehend the ailments and I knew that I was not being taken advantage of.

I dropped off my whip the following week, and after a couple days and a fair chunk of dollar bills, she was ready for me! Unfortunately, a portion of the squeaks and creaks were still prevalent. At first, I was frustrated, but after a quick phone call, my worries were quashed. They offered to take a second look pro bono, and they ended up identifying a simple problem with my timing belt!

They replaced my belt for free and sent me on my way with not a squeak to be heard! The mechanic told me if I had ANY issues, just drop them a line! I am blown away by the professionalism and friendliness of everyone I interacted with there. Please forgive me for forgetting your names, but the lady at the front desk, the main mechanic, and both the mechanics I interacted with deserve the highest of praise! Thank you, Hayes, for fixing up my baby, I look forward to working with you again when the time comes!.Hopefully not for awhile!; Peace and love!

We brought two of our cars to Hayes to install a lift kit and new tires. The entire staff has been really great. We worked with Nick primarily who has been super helpful and prompt. They've done other general car services for us as well. After the lift kit, he's seen the cars both a few times to check the kit and alignment to ensure everything is holding up ok.

We got a flat tire and our spare was on backorder. So we were screwed. Nick went above and beyond to find us two more tires to get us back up and running. Not sure how he even was able to locate them, but we are thrilled. Great experience here, would certainly recommend to anyone!

I went to Hayes for an alignment on the recommendation of my tire store. Unfortunately, I wish I hadn't. Upon taking my vehicle to Hayes I was told I needed to replace a lower control arm bushing before the alignment could take place. So I approved the extra work. The $150 alignment is now $600. When I went to pick up my vehicle after they said the work was complete they weren't initially planning to give me the alignment report.

After requesting it, I notice that the camber on 3 out of 4 wheels was still not correct. When I asked them they said those were not adjustable but then went on to explain they could add aftermarket adjustments for and additional $400-500. I called my regular mechanic in Boulder and discovered this is a common issue with many cars, not just mine and that a competent alignment shop should have known.

My mechanic quoted me $130 for parts and labor. I spent $600 at Hayes and my wheels are still not aligned properly for the new tires I'm installing. It's too bad when a first time customer ends up having a negative experience like this and the business doesn't care to do anything to help resolve the issue. Hayes over charges and under delivers. I do not recommend this shop and will not be returning.

I was traveling through the area for business and my A/C stopped working in my 2005 Chevy 1500 pickup. Nick and his team of professionals got me fixed up and blowing cold air in a few hours. Apparently I had lost the A/C pump belt, they replaced the belt, recharged the system.

I had an appointment and was able to drop my car off the day before and found to office staff were very nice. I received a call after the work was completed and had the Diagnostic explained to me. If needed I will use them again. Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Auto maintenance, Tire rotations

I took my truck to Hayes for an alignment after a minor accident. They replaced my bent track bar with the wrong part and told me multiple times it was the correct part. After I had to bring them the correct track bar, they replaced it and the front axle on my truck was over an inch off center because they didn't know how to adjust the track bar. I had to go back two times for a very simple fix and I just realized it's still not fixed right and wasn't tightened down properly.

I have been going to Hayes Automotive for nearly a decade. Several cars, repairs, and years later. there is still no one else I trust for vehicle maintenance. Friendly crew. They treat you like family. And they always do their best to keep things within your budget. A++

STAY AWAY FOR SAFETY!Unfortunately the first time we brought our vehicle there I was setting in the parking lot and they open the garage. At that time I saw a vehicle backing towards me, I thought it was going to stop but it smashed right into our SUV that we were not bringing there to fix! Unfortunately our vehicle never got fixed right? Then Nick assured us that my husband's work truck had been fixed properly after his airbag light went off after they fixed the vehicle. Unfortunately, we were in a wreck. Wreck somebody pulled out in front of us and we t-boned them.

I was in the driver side and our airbags did not go off to all of the first responders. Amazement I was alive and not badly harmed? This is not how you want to feel after an accident because the airbags did not go off and they were supposed to and they were just recently fixed? I would have nothing to do with this place because Nick was not honest to us and it nearly cost me my life!

We had to get a hitch installed on our car for a move across country and they did a fantastic job. It took a while for the parts to come in (covid supply issues) but the communication was excellent and the staff was very friendly throughout the process. Once the parts arrived they were able to get it done quickly to keep us from being delayed any further. We drove 1200 miles with no issues at all and it was half the price of what the dealership quoted us. Highly recommend these folks!

Very glad I took my 1979 GMC K2500. I did a lot of work to set it up for emissions but I need a good mechanic to get it over the hurdle and tune it for what I swapped in and added. Ron did an exception job going though it and cleaning up the mistakes I made as well as taking the time to get the emissions test done. Truck runs great and I am armed with a lot more information to keep it running right. Ron also took time to answer several questions I had. Great people and great service. Very fair pricing. I will be back and highly recommend Hayes Automotive. Got tags today thanks to Hayes. look out Longmont
