Larry the owner is an ASE Certified Master Technician with over 35 years of experience. He started this business over 30 years ago and for the first 15 years working on just Hondas. Larry on his off time enjoys camping, motorcycle riding, and surfing. He also serves as a reserve firefighter and EMT with Orange County Fire Authority.

Overall: thorough inspection, good communication, and efficient timeline to complete repairs. Details of my repairs: My 2009 ScionTc has been cross country twice and has accumulated a litany of issues over the years. Most recently, a very unstable idle with a check engine light. Had it towed to Larry's because he was referred by a trusted family member for reliable and affordable car repairs. Spoke to Larry himself and I explained my chief complaint.
He listened and had Paul, the mechanic, create a thorough list of possible repairs addressing the chief complaint first. List of repairs came with detailed pictures to show the issues. Paul himself walked me back into the garage and pointed out each issue on my car. There was no pressure to complete any of the repairs, only what I was comfortable with.
Good communication during the repair process, which included phone calls, texts and email correspondence. Once repairs were complete, the car runs like 100,000 miles younger! Thank you to Larry, Paul, and Aaron!

$150 Just to INSPECT the car which is outrageous. I called and confirmed that they now charge $150 for an inspection and this DOES NOT COVER THE REPAIR. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to throw your money into a dishonest scammers pocket. They saw car was on a tow truck and they took advantage.

My 2003 Toyota Tundra was due for a timing belt replacement, along with some related service (water pump, cam and crank seals, etc.), also rear brake adjustment and complete brake fluid flush. Larry explained all the items thoroughly. During the service, Paul (mechanic) suggested some other items that were not immediately necessary, but I opted to do them anyway.
The work was completed in a timely manner, and afterwards Paul showed me some of the old parts and explained why he recommended replacing them. Great service experience, a clean shop, and I will definitely return to Larry's for any future service. Thanks!

I recently needed a lot of work done to my 2014 Prius. I was quoted one price at the dealer where I've been maintaining so far but Larry came in $600 less! He's professional, has a nice office and as a bonus has a fun sense of humor. Definitely an honest business man. Thank you, Larry. I brought my Lexus in for a problem with the heater/air conditioner. Larry's team made a thorough inspection of the car and found some other issues I was unaware of, discussed them with me and they made those fixes. If he did not, I am sure I would have even more significant problems down the road (perhaps while on the road). Thanks, Larry, for restoring my confidence in the condition of my car. Oh, the heater, air conditioner also work great.

Larry and Sharon were very pleasant and friendly. I needed to have my air conditioning serviced. Larry explained exactly in detail what he would be checking and gave me an estimate. The work was done quickly. As an added bonus they did a complete inspection and told me of potential problems that need attention. Very satisfied and highly recommend.

I've been going to Larry for five years and have always had a great experience. It's never fun to have to go to the mechanic but Larry has always made it much more pleasant than it could have been. The prices are more than fair and the turnaround time is on par or better than anyone I've ever used before. Larry is always upfront and honest. Yes, it sucks to have to have your car repaired and pay a bunch of money. So, yes it's not always the best of circumstances and I would love for it to cost less. But no one is going to do it for free. I haven't found anybody I like better than Larry and I've been driving cars and going to mechanics for several decades.
