Stan and Kevin have taken outstanding care of my old 911 for over 20 years. Their work is excellent, thorough, and they are honest and do not recommend unnecessary work. Highly recommended.

I'm a former employee (over a decade ago) but I've also been a customer. Stan, the owner, is an honest man. He won't sell you things you don't need and will do his best to save you money. You can trust this shop to be honest and do good work.

Brought my Boxster here for everything I could not do myself. When driving a 15 year old Porsche an honest opinion is absolutely priceless. The work was always done right and I felt I got honest feedback on what to worry about and what not to worry about. Never felt pressured, if anything their advice was often "don't worry about that" rather than you must fix this ASAP. I'm not anti dealer but there is a personal touch here you can only get with a small shop.

1986 944 Turbo ( 951) I did the research after purchasing my car from (BAT) Bring a Trailer. I wanted a shop that not only knew Porsche sports cars. I wanted a shop that knew the various generations of Porsche Race cars. My car has been heavily modified by Lindsey Racing, Mahle, Vitesse just to name a few. Thanks to RPM Racing's generations of knowledge I was given the most complete reconditioning available and at an amazing price.

Every process was explained to me about what needs to be done and what does not. Cost and Need was their concern before I even asked. How many High performance shops have you been to that look out for you on a regular basis? Very happy to be working with RPM Racing as they guide me to the most reliable 944 I can build. Very Respectfully, Douglas Thornton

Had to use them for repairs as I was stuck after getting off the auto train. The car was worse after I picked it up to continue my journey to nj.

Very happy after getting my 85 Targa 911 serviced by Kevin at RPM. Couldn't ask for a more knowledgeable and friendly Porsche expert. Thanks to this guy my baby will be on the road for many years to come!

RPM Racing recently finished its second round of upgrades on my 2007 Type 997 Carrera and early signs are that I'll be just as happy as I was the first time. (First upgrade was engine ECU, more recent was suspension--have to wait for autocross season for the big test.) Messrs. Fox provided great and trustworthy advice both times as I made my choices. Moreover, they regularly asked questions about my interests and preferences--and explained the inherent compromises necessary--to ensure the car wound up the way *I* wanted it. A friend recommended RPM initially based on years of happy results, and I can see why!

I've known Stan for over 20 years. He's one of the most qualified Porsche mechanics I know. He gives you honest and fair feedback on what needs to be done, what doesn't, and what can wait. He's rebuilt my 915 transaxle, done alignment and corner balancing for track setup, and diagnosed some pretty tricky intermittent problems. A good indicator of the quality of his work is that I've never had to return the car for his work to be re-done. Done right the first time! His son Kevin has become an excellent Porsche mechanic in his own right. JC in VA.

This place is horrible. My 1972 Porsche spent a week in this shop supposedly being repaired for various problems so I could make my way up to NJ. It started, but once on the road, the same problems I brought it in to occurred. I was lucky to get it to my friends in Jersey. Once I shut the car off, it would not start, not even after days on a charger. Obviously, they did not fix that first problem, even after putting in a new fuel pump. The other problems, including high revving while driving, were not fixed either. This place sucked bigtime.

Update. in late 2012 my 39 yr. old Porsche needed some major maintenance and repair work on its very specialized transmission, including clutch replacement. Stan had now impossible to get vacuum lines made up to custom fit replacement, and got other needed original parts from Germany. He did the usual thorough job of assessing other things that could be taken care of while the engine & transmission were out of the car (since that labor was already required) and, as preventive maintenance, hope to save a future job requiring that much redundant labor. The car came back driving perfectly. Not inexpensive, but worth it.

I have been going to RPM for years now and in the last year or so the quality of the work has gone down hill dramatically. The rates they charge for Porsche service should match the work that they do, but unfortunately that is no longer the case. I have heard horror stories from some of the guys in the Porsche Club about this place.
