At Doc's Auto Clinic, fixing vehicle's is in our family's blood, and it's where we excel. In fact, our auto repair shop is the culmination of the work of generations of car people. Owner Brian Small's grandfather owned the first Ford dealership in Washington, D.C., exposing Brian to the automotive industry at a young age.
The ASE-certified auto repair technicians at Doc's Auto Clinic have the experience, skill, and up-to-date equipment to properly repair and maintain all foreign and domestic vehicles. We specialize in suspension repairs and alignments, electronic repairs, and computer system diagnostics, to name just a few of our areas of expertise.
Automotive technicians are often compared to doctors. This comparison undoubtedly makes some techs smile and others grimace. But in the end, the two professions have a lot in common. It may surprise consumers to find that by choosing these professionals wisely, they can get better care at a better price.
Acura offers an appealing mix of performance, technology, and value with its street-performance-oriented RDX compact crossover, the TSX wagon, and the ZDX, a fastback-styled crossover. These models join the popular RL luxury sedan, the midsize TL sedan, and the entry-level TSX sport sedan in Acura's lineup.

I never take the time to write reviews, but I would give them 10 stars if I could. Very kind people with fair prices. Jenna and Doc were both incredibly helpful when we were in need. They were not only concerned for our car maintenance, but also for our safety. Their work was incredibly well done and quick. They are the definition of customer service professionals. They deserve all the best in this world and we are forever grateful for them.

Really great experience here. I was traveling through on vacation when my car decided it was maintenance time. I called and they were able to get me in the next day for an oil change and transmission flush. They had an easy night drop so I was able to use my car the day before service and not have to get up crazy early to drop it off. Recommend them for certain!

Not knowledgeable on finding parts for vehicles. Parts are almost tripled on estimates. Seemed like they try to find bigger $$ job in minor jobs. Left a horrible taste in my mouth for trying a local business for first time. Curious to them taking advantage of a women bringing car in for work? Well another mechanic not to go to in steamboat checked off the list.

BEWARE! Get a 2nd opinion. My daughter was working in Steamboat for the ski season. Her muffler had rusted out, and the tailpipe was hanging. She took it to Doc's. They gave her an estimate for over $3000! She declined the work, and was charged $64 for the estimate! I have NEVER been charged for an estimate in my life! Nor should muffler repair be $3000! She ended up coming home 2 weeks later. I took it to my local mechanic, who charged me $585 for the fix (including an oil change). Shady!

BEWARE! THIS PLACE IS SHADY! BEWARE! I would go anywhere else! This morning, after waiting a week for an appointment, I brought my 2006 Mazda3 into Doc's for an assessment of a steering wheel shake. The lady behind the desk was friendly and welcoming. Judging by her professionalism, I felt I was in good hands. She said they would take a look, and get back to me via phone.
Later that morning, I answered my phone to learn Doc's estimate to fix the shaking was $1400. I politely told the lady at the front desk I would get a second opinion, and she said that was fine, but I owed $61.33 for their services. I was shocked. There had been no information provided to indicate that an assessment fee of $61.33 would be charged.
There was also no visible sign indicating this charge, and the woman had made no mention of it as I had handed her my keys that morning. I made my frustration clear to her, and asked to pay $30 instead. She left the office and came back to say her manager indicated the $60 was discounted out of the price of the future car work. The car work suggested was $1400 to replace lower control arm bushings plus an alignment and balance.
She asked if I would like to speak to the manager. I declined telling her I would never be back. The manager made no effort to talk to me in person. I will find a more honorable place in Denver. It appears that being in a closed market ski town like Steamboat that this company can jack up their prices and get away with it. I have no problem with an assessment fee, but that needs to be voiced or agreed to before the work begins.
It should not be treated as an after thought. This company will rip you off and not think twice. They don't seem to have any desire to create a loyal customer base. Attracting customers doesn't seem to be a problem for them. BEWARE!

Being new to town I went to Doc's for an oil change because of the good Yelp reviews. It was the most expensive oil change I've ever had in my life and they told me I needed $700 of work done. I called my trusty mechanic of 10 years back in California; he was shocked and told me, "what you need done shouldn't total more than $260 including parts and labor." While everyone working there was friendly I will not be back.

Took my wife's car in for repair, price was more than fair. Great, fast service, very professional. I was a mechanic for over 40 years, owned my own business in Fort Collins for almost 20 years, it is hard for me to take my car anywhere I can trust, but not being able to do many repairs myself in condo area, and after reading reviews thought I would give them a try. Well done! What I can not fix myself I will be taking back to you guys! Thank you!

When we move to a town, we always look for a great mechanic that we can drop our car off with and never worry if they are being fair or not. Doc's is such a place, they will tell us what they found and suggest if we need to fix it now or later. Trust is earned and over several years Doc's has earned out trust.
