With the wild car market, I test drove about 14 cars from 5 brands at about 9 different dealerships in the past year. My experience at Volvo of Norwood was by far, the absolute worst. The car I showed up to test drive, confirmed with internet sales, didn't exist after driving 45 minutes for my appointment. One of the sales reps let me drive the version they were temporarily driving, and didn't bother to clean up the shirts and golf tees littering the car.

No one walked out to the car with me to introduce me to it, explain features, etc. This was especially tragic because all the reviews are clear that Volvo's digital interface is not intuitive. The first question I was asked when I walked in the door was "what's your budget?" - which isn't an unreasonable question, except, it's the only dealer in a year that started there instead of "welcome, what brings you to Volvo?" I assure you I would not have drove 45 minutes to test drive car I couldn't afford.

I was made to feel like I wasn't worthy of their cars despite my ability to pay up front for anything on that lot. I was never asked to sit down and have a conversation. I loved the car - I would have happily waited 8 months for one to come in. They made me feel like a burden on their time, and I do mean they plural - in my short time there I was introduced to 3 different people, none of whom offered real time or care to be ambassadors to the brand. Their loss. Do better. Especially for women buyers.

Paul at Herb Chambers Volvo was very thorough in explaining what my car needed for repairs. He was timely with his communication. And he did what he could to help keep the cost of repairs down (charging the battery, instead of replacing it). Paul is also very personable. Noticing that we live in the same neighborhood, we had a nice conversation about what we love about the community.

I highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle from this dealership. We've bought our first Volvo through this dealership in 2016. Patricia Young was our Sales representative. She wonderful. I like Patty because she's sincere about matching the buyer with the right vehicle. We have bought 4 cars through Patty, both Certified Pre-Owned and new. She's always good to her clients, even after the deal is done.

When Patty's not available, there are plenty of other Sales and Service reps with high standards to help. Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood is our first choice in dealerships for car shopping.

Hands down best experience at a dealership. I have been to many other dealerships to have items on my car fixed but Herb Chambers Volvo has been the best. They listen to my concerns and helped me get the items I needed fixed done quickly. The staff is very nice and super helpful! Will always be going to them for any other problems or for my next car!

Peter has a kind and professional manner in his conversations with clients. My 2012 Volvo had an electrical issue which I assumed was simple. Peter recognized my lack of knowledge; he patiently explained the purpose and importance of the electrical alert. Most importantly, Peter's explanation was on my level of comprehension. I left my Volvo with confidence. As the repair was completed, Peter reported its success. I was pleased. Full 'thanks' to the service staff! Had a great experience at Volvo Norwood! Went in to trade in my old car and look at the electric SUV. The minute I walked in I was greeted with a smile from the receptionist and the General Manager who was very gracious and welcoming. I worked with Anastasiia on my trade in and eventual car purchase. She was knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful. I never felt pressured to purchase anything and ended up getting a great deal. I highly recommend Volvo Norwood to anyone looking for a new car!

The only issue that we had with this service done at Norwood dealership was that the loaner car that we were promised was not available. So my wife had to wait a couple of hours while the service was being done. It would've been nice if we were informed earlier that the cars weren't available. Other than that everything was done as usual with great care and we will continue to obviously bring our vehicles to this place.

The sales reps in this dealership were very welcoming. We were able to quickly get in and test drive the vehicle we were interested in evaluating. After the test drive, we worked with the reps a couple of days to negotiate a purchase and trade in. They were very friendly and straightforward to deal with. Would recommend if you're interested in a Volvo.

I've owned my Volvo for 6 years now and Herb Chambers Volvo is the only place I will allow to touch my car. My service advisor Colin is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I understand I could probably use a independent shop and save a few dollars but I know I wouldn't get the same level of first class service from their techs or the experience of their service advisor. If you want first class Volvo service than Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood is the place! 5 stars

Let me start by saying.it is not about the vehicles, it is about the people. Being a BMW driver my entire life-I would switch brands in a heartbeat JUST to be able to trust my vehicle in the hands of the greatest service manager to ever live: Rob Hannafin. This man is a legend. He knows people and their cars inside and out. He knows what is needed, he knows how to deliver, and he is BY FAR the most knowledgeable service manager I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Always eager to help and solve every problem. There is a reason why year after year, his office literally OVERFLOWED with beautiful gifts and champagne, tasty treats and thank you cards every holiday season: His customers adore him, his approach and his genuine honesty. He treats every single person with the highest respect and appreciation. He remembers the little things and he always does what is right.

Your safety is his top concern and he takes it personally to ensure you leave confident that you are in good hands. I can't express enough how fortunate Volvo of Norwood is to have Rob as their service manager. Absolutely 1 in a million. I look forward to making the switch.
