We've been taking our cars here since we moved to Wakefield. The Fahey's provide everything anyone would hope for from a family-owned auto body shop. They provide honest services with great courtesy, do whatever they can to fit you in and have incredibly fast turnarounds for the work they do. When a part is needed they source it quickly. No nickel and diming here.

They understand family budgets can be tight so when you bring you're car in they'll give you the breakdown on what you absolutely need to have done verses work to consider in the future. You won't get pressured into having unneeded work done here. Adding them to my phone contacts bc there's no need to Google anyone else in the area as long as they are still open. They broke the mold on businesses like this.

Great mechanics. They came and picked my car up to do the brakes and dropped it back off the same day. Highly recommend to anyone who needs work done!

Another stressless visit to Fahey Tire, I have been a customer for the better part of 12 years, I much prefer dealing with professionals who provide excellent service, timely work and leave your vehicle the way it was upon arrival. Many times in past when I have taken my car to the dealership for warranty work or tire swaps, they inevitably get grease on the door, or change settings etc.well not at Fahey, they treat you and your vehicle with respect and not as a number. Thanks for being there in these trying times.

. I got a flat and was suppose to have free flat repair and rotation with purchasing four tires from Fahey's. I was charged $59.00 for rotation and the repair of the flat tire. They said they had to get a mechanic to removed a stuck on lug nut. Well they were the only people that ever tighten the lug nuts. Disappointed in getting billed.

Fahey 's tire is a great place for service of your car/truck always busy so you know thier good and they have a courtesy shuttle service

My go to shop for auto repair for the past 15 years. Honest and fair pricing, free WiFi and good coffee. Nice area to wait and local transportation options. Edit: now 20 years. Look - I can't afford a new car every three years, so I spend money on maintenance and repairs. Fahey always treats me right. And more importantly, my wife. This is the only place that will price three sets of tires and then look you on the eye and tell you the lowest price option is the best tire with the longest warranty. Seriously. They've earned my loyalty time and time again.

I've been a customer for about 5 years and will not use any other car repair service. They are professional, dedicated and treat their customers very well. I bought new tires several years ago and still impressed with their knowledge and talent in automotive service. They describe all the details of your car repair which is helpful to those of us unfamiliar.

They provide a comfortable seating area with a TV screen if you have to wait for your car. They are all helpful. I generally ask for Bob. My Avalon is a 2008 and it still runs well. I attribute that to being a customer of Fahey Tire in Wakefield.

Bought some new tires and rims and brought them the Fahey's for mounting/balancing. The price and turn around time was great, but the thing that impressed me the most was the customer service I received. My wife picked up the wheels and they loaded up her SUV and used cardboard to protect the wheels. Mike and Mary's customer interaction was excellent, thank you!

I just brought my car in to have a front end alignment done after the car was involved in an accident. I wanted to be able to safely drive it while waiting for it to be repaired. They took the time to look at it and let me know that they couldnt fix it because i had frame damage and the car wouldnt be safe to drive. They also gave me a name of a good collision shop.

There was no charge for any of this. I was very surprised and grateful for their time and help. This will be my new tire shop going forward and I will surely spread the word. I dealt with Shaun and another nice man that checked the car out and wrote down what he observed. Thank you so much for the great service!

Way more than tires. Great place to get your car serviced. Local owner operated business and it shows.

Very professional work. They did an honest assessment on my car and gave me a diagnosis and a fix that was a fraction of what I thought it would be. Glad to have an honest cat repair business in the neighborhood.

Have been going to Fahey Tire for over 30 years and appreciate the service I've received. In the past 30 years, I've only had two issues with their service and they went above and beyond to correct them. In fact my last issue was corrected by the owner, Jim. My whole family uses Fahey Tire and they treated my kids with the same respect they give me. I have recommended Fahey's to friends and they agree with my assessment. The front desk is great. Visited Fahey's Tire Center in Wakefield, MA for a new set of tires for our vehicle. Use your automobile navigation tools to travel to and from their location. This small family owned business is highly recommended. Their prices are lower than their competitors and the depth of their inventory is impressive. Very friendly and respectful staff. They listen to their customers, and provide professional services.

Good, honest service. It would be great if their website didn't say they are open and allow you to request appointments on the Saturdays they are closed.

Fahey is by far the best tire and auto service in the Wakefield area. My mom who was in senior housing was treated so honestly and generously time and time again. For the last 12 years I have come here for tires and the Fahey family has treated me well with honest work and good service. You will love doing business here.

I've been going to Fahey Tire for all my car tire and mechanical services for years. They are honest, reasonable, responsive, and do excellent work. I've recommended them to friends who are not in the local area because it's difficult to find this kind of service.

They are GREAT. I would REFER everyone to them - I actually ended up there due to a Flat tire - very close to them and (AAA) highly recommended them. I used them twice since them. I would TRUST them with any issue/quote. I so appreciated their willingness to get me home and scoop me up again back to them. I was shocked after them assessing the problems and the owner decided not to correct the issue(s) due to the age/mileage of the vehicle; I wasn't charged for the assessment/ review of the cars' issues - that is. going beyond what ever could be expected. if you've ever been to an Auto place.you'd never walk out without paying for this kind of service. BTW, tip your driver who takes you home and back again - it's similar to an UBER driver, only nicer and doesn't cost anything ~ :). Sue "Wakefield"

Just went to Fahey's for the first time for an oil change. Very easy to book an appointment and Jim was super helpful. They didn't try to upsell anything and the cost was cheap! I waited outside and it took about 45 minutes. They definitely get an A+ for service!

Speedy, friendly, and fair pricing. Professional transactions via email, phone and in person. Professional, computerized list of work done (no mysterious work written in illegible handwriting). Nice waiting room with HVAC: Need to relax? Cushy seating, tv with remote, and a tank of fish, which my dog really enjoyed. Need to work? Private carrels, WiFi, a charging station, and a PC on the internet.

Need refreshments? A water chiller, a variety of coffee flavors in environmentally friendly sachets. (Yay! K cups are bad for the environment!), and a well-stocked vending machine of snacks. The decor includes soothing neutral colors and a fun display of vintage model cars.

Well I must say, my tire issue could not have been more frustrating. I bought new rims and tires from The Tire Rack and had an issue with them to get balanced. Fahey Tire is an authorized shop for Tire Rack and after many attempts to make it right and me being very frustrated the team at Fahey was the best! Psul handled my situation and coordination with Tire Rack was courteous and professional. If I could give 10 stars it would show how good they were. Thank you again to the team at Fahey Tire! Got some work done here recently on a wheel, took almost 3 days.no problem with the covid-19 thing going on. As soon as I picked it up, my steering wheel was vibrating and shaking. This would have been easily discovered with a test drive. After troubleshooting the most obvious area first, I checked the tires. The front 2 tires were almost bare. It seemed odd that a tire place would not check the tires condition while working on it (perhaps get a tire replacement job out of it?).

I was told ahead of time that they charge more here because use quality parts and do a good, throughout job. They certainly lived up to that reputation on the price. They charge $100/per hour and the price of the part was over double what it would cost for a quality, non authentic part basically anywhere I looked. Fast forward a week, I bring the car back to get tires that were somehow not noticed to be bare the week before.

I requested they save 1 tire, which I indicated several times. They even removed the cost of disposing that 1 tire ($2) off the bill, however when I went to check my trunk, there was no tire. We called them less than 24 hours to inquire and was told it was thrown away.this tire was basically new as I had replaced it a few months before. The pricing on the tires was fine (again on the higher end of the spectrum) but I was ok with that.

After reading some other reviews, I'm going to check the lug nut torque on the wheels to make sure they are correct but overall they did a good job despite a few issues. The car runs good for now.

Please understand everyone that Fahey's Tire Center gets good reviews because people do not verify the services that were performed so are easily duped into thinking they are good. Fahey's fails miserably in a key parameter that few consumers verify, the lug nut torque. My Kia Optima is spec'd at 69-87 FT-LBS of torque and Fahey's greatly over torqued them to 130-135 FT-LBS. First, this causes your rotors to be bowed which significantly reduces the life of your brake pads and rotors so they know you will be back soon for a brake job that they caused to occur prematurely.

This is consumer fraud 101, so easy to get away with and even if caught who would do anything to them. Also, if you are a DIY person who changes a flat, many people are not prepared to remove lug nuts that are on that tight with the standard lug nut wrench that comes standard with your car, especially after they are on for a few years. It is with due diligence for any tire installer to use calibrated torquing devices to torque your lug nuts to the tire manufacturer's specification and it should be state law to require this but our staes fail on this oversight miserably too so Fahey will get away with this indefintely. NTB finally decided this was good business practice and do torqe to spec so at least they do that right.

Realize Fahey is typical of tire installers, not a rogue installer and they do the other stuff OK. If you specify you want your lug nuts torqued to your car spec, my guess is they would do it. Or better yet, tell them you own a torque wrench and will do a review of them on-line with the results.

So pleased with this place. They assessed my tire on the lift and determined no repair was needed because the nail didn't penetrate. They charged $0 for their effort and expertise. I was impressed by their honesty and great customer service. Also had my nieces with me ages 2 & 4 and their waiting area was large and comfortable with couches, tv and even fish tank! Would come back for sure!

Fahey tire is the best around great people great prices you can feel comfortable here u won't get ripped off and they care about there customers this place has been here open since the started building cars for a reason good honest work take ur car or truck here and u won't regret it!

Scratched my wheels badly! I went here to replace my tires because there are a lot of good reviews. I guess a lot of people don't check their wheels after they are mounted. These guys, when they remove the old wheel weights they use a metal tool to pry it off and it will leave scratches on your wheels. So if any of you guys who have nice or expensive wheels, please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I will probably never go here again.

Every time I have trouble with my car, these guys are always there to help me. Their service is above and beyond what is normally expected of a repair shop and I highly recommend them. They take their time to carefully inspect what's wrong and they correct the problem there on the spot. Just had another outstanding experience with Fahey Tires, got a great price for what could've been over a thousand dollars easy.

New truck needs a new review. Another great job by the guys over at Fahey. Leveling kit, and new tires to change the whole look of the truck. Everything was done to the T with no rattles or vibrations. Great work again guys.

Excellent experience start to finish. My daughter goes to College near Boston which is 4 hours away from our home in New Jersey. She called me and said our 2005 Accord wouldn't start. My brother-in -law recommended Fahey and I owe him a beer because using Fahey was great. AAA towed the car to Fehay and they communicated, gave an accurate estimate and delivery as promised.

I could elaborate but I don't think it's necessary if you look at these three points. I've already had my daughter bring in her replacement car for an oil change and wouldn't hesitate to bring my cars to Fahey in the future,

I ordered a set of tires from an online rack store and had it delivered to Fahey tire. First time I have ordered a set of tires online. It was a fantastic experience. Fahey called me when my tires showed up, and we booked a next day appointment to get the tires installed. The install price was lower than what they quoted me online so I was pretty stoked.

The entire install took only an hour. The waiting room was clean and the service guys were friendly and easy to deal with. I'll keep on coming back it can't be better any where else. I know it's not better at Firestone.
