4th Street Auto Care Center

I am new to the area and was looking for a trusted auto care business to service my vehicle. I came across 4th Street Auto Care online and saw what amazing ratings it had. I was still hesitant bringing my car in, but Bill and his staff made me feel completely at ease. There was consistent communication between Bill and I about my car and it was serviced in an efficient and timely manner. I appreciate the work you did and how comfortable I felt working with you and the staff Bill, thank you!

My experience with 4th Street Auto was an A+! Bill and the team provided excellent service and completed everything in a timely fashion. 4th street Auto is by far one of the most trustworthy auto repair shops I know of. Everyone is accommodating and gracious. As a women I feel comfortable going in and explaining anything that might be going on. They always give me updates and estimates before they do any work and they get things done quickly. I'll never go anywhere else.

The guys at Fourth Street are the best. As a single woman and a mom I can't tell you how many times I've been screw over by mechanics costing me thousand of dollars. Finally found a good one and he leaves to move to Florida. I asked him for a recommendation and he said Fourth Street. Bill and the crew have keep my old bomber running (always started even in the coldest weather ) and checked out 2 cars that i have bought my daughter. I trust them with my daughter's safety and to me that is the highest compliment I can give them.

When coming to this location I found out that they were not a transmission shop as I thought and I had searched for on Google? Regardless they gave me a price on what the diagnostic charge would be which was a little high but I accepted it as I had no option to drive around and find another location to help me because my car was not able to go over 20 miles an hour.

They were very nice got me in right away and then they worked with me on the price they had originally given and although it was a little high I accepted it as I didn't want to go searching for repair elsewhere. My car is now running and I thought repaired. They were very knowledgeable and repaired my vehicle within an hour and a half so I was very happy. P.S.

I had to return the next day, my battery had gotten run down by my fault and car was doing the same thing as in days previous, tech explained that the computer had to reset and was in recovery mode? Okay so 2 days later same issue, had to ask my brother to help me now, could not afford mechanic, cost me $35 for the part and now my car is fixed! The sensor was the problem and I spent all that money for a problem that was not there?

I'm not saying they are not good mechanics, they just did not look at the cheap fix which I understand but in my case it hurt me financially going forward, I will survive as usual just won't send my friends there.

They warned me it would be a couple days to before they could get to repair my car, a broken serpentine belt. Once they did, they repaired it same day. 4th St Auto might not be the cheapest, but they can be depended to give an honest answer and w good jon.

Bill and Terry are the best in town. Kind and excellent shop. Highly recommend.

My family has taken our cars to 4th Street Auto for many years. The care and quality they put into their work is unmatched. For example, the staff helped rescue a kitten from under the hood of a car while I was getting my oiled changed recently. They not only care for their customers, but are happy to help out a fury friend as well. Highly recommend! :

This place is AMAZING! Seriously, I first found them when my car's brakes were making a horrible noise. Bill was wonderful and did some diagnostics for me same day, but then pointed out it was an issue caused by the dealership and won't take my money. Fast forward to present day I purchased a van and it needed an oil change and I asked them to add an inspection, it was so detailed.

I got the brakes replaced and a coolant flush. The shop was able to do all the work and have it back to me in a few days even though I told them it was low priority. I can't recommend them enough.

Always fair and honest in dealing with them. Good guys who do stand work. We always go here fir repairs.

I stopped in this morning because I had a loose headlight and I'm about to turn in a lease vehicle. They were kind, looked at it right away, and were amazing to work with. Place is clean, small but comfortable waiting space with coffee. Great website. Nice staff. I'm definitely glad I checked them out and will be frequenting for my future vehicle needs!

4th Street Auto is the only place I will take any of my vehicles ever! I consider the owner, Bill, to not only be a genius mechanic but also a truly good and honest person. My husband and I and our daughter have had many occasions to have a vehicle serviced by 4th Street Auto and have never been charged anything above what is a normal and reasonable rate and also the repairs have been right on target and perfectly executed.

Bill always gets back with us in a timely fashion regarding the status of our repairs and the cost of the repair. He and his auto repair are the best and they will continue to get my business and that of my loved ones and friends.

I'm not typically one to leave reviews, but felt I had to after my experience with 4th Street Auto Care. Rick and his team made my experience as easy as possible from beginning to end. They are attentive, detail oriented, and incredibly honest. I cannot recommend this location highly enough -- all of their glowing reviews are very well earned!

Nice to have a local shop you can trust. They are honest and do a great job of communicating with you in regards to urgent repairs vs things that can be dealt with in the future. Although they might not be the cheapest on the block, they are the most honest and do quality, trustworthy repairs that they are willing to warranty. Plus, who really wants to go to the cheapest guy on the block and end up just having to have it redone or go to the dealership who will just replace a part and charge you because the manual says its time rather than actually checking the part. I highly recommend you bring your car here for service. You won't be disappointed with the service, quality or honesty of the staff.

I always trust 4th street auto. They do a great job and they are prompt with service and their communication. I went in their with squeaky brakes, fully intent on getting new ones, and they advised me that my brakes were fine and if I could get past the little bit of noise they will work fine. Most places would of just did as I asked and charged me for new brakes.

I can only say great things about Bill and the staff there. My friend and I brought her vehicle in for repair. After an assessment, they informed me what the total charges to fix would be; the car wasn't worth that much. They did this without charge; I greatly appreciated their honest feedback. Very easy to work with; trustable.

Overpriced. OVER PRICED. he charged me 2 X the price of the parts. Alternators from Autozone was for $140 (remanufactured alternator) and the charged me $350 for the same item. He also charged me $57 just to charge my car battery (OMG, OMG, OMG). His hour rate is $108 which is not bad. $70 for belt ($30 at AutoZone). at the end of the day i Paid $750 for alternator change and belt.it's way overpriced, my friend got his alternator somewhere else and they charged him only $350 ( $120 for alternator).

LOVE THIS PLACE. I've only been coming here a short time, but they are always efficient in their work, and very friendly! I always recommend them to my friends and family.

Brought my car in for a small repair, prior to a road trip, with only 30 minutes notice and they got it done quickly and with a smile. I didn't ask how much it would cost, as they were well reviewed and I wanted to see how they would handle it. When they were done, they refused to take my money for 15 minutes of work, the repair was free of charge. They even checked the fluid levels and tire pressure to make sure I was all set for my trip. Impressed with the service and customer care. The repair was well done too.

Very nice and honest people-thought had problem with brakes. They checked everything out, and took a road test, finding no problems. Did not charge anything. Who could you find that would do this? Went there for first time after S&K went out of business-they had worked with them in the past.

These guys were great. I hadn't yet found a new place to take my car in when I had issues (a family friend used to handle all of my issues but has since retired and moved away) and I was really nervous about finding a new place. Well. I've found my new place. I had a really pesky problem with my alternator. It would only act up sporadically.

And Bill was very helpful talking me through my decisions. He told me what he would do but also made me feel very comfortable in making my own decisions, considering my car was not easy to diagnose (seriously, every time I drove it in, it acted fine once it got to the shop. GRRRR). Finally, when I decided to let them change the alternator, they had it done within a couple of hours.

I had my car the same morning I dropped it off. And everytime I had a problem, they were so accomodating with my schedule. Seriously Bill and Terry were the best. If you're looking for a local, trustworthy auto repair place, you can't do better than 4th Street Auto.

I just paid for a fuel leak repair, but feel the need to thank THEM publicly and profusely. 4th Street opened conveniently at 7am today, Monday. Bill, the man working behind the desk, was HONEST, straightforward, and courteous. My repaired vehicle was returned in a professional, reliable fashion. I wouldn't (and you shouldn't, either) go anywhere else.

Very honest. Bit pricey, but I know only work I need is being done.

We take both our cars here and have always been satisfied. I like that they give us options. They'll let us know if we can get away with not fixing something right now or they'll give us a low-cost alternative to an expensive but not-life-threatening repair.

I 've been gong to 4th street auto for years. Years! I recently went there to find out they (Rick) wanted over 1000 bucks to put in a new radiator. I told them it was too much and went down the street to Top Tech and had it done for 300. Suffice it to say, See ya, 4th Street!
