C1 Suspension Report

This spring is a 340lb rated spring that fits 1963-77 Corvettes. Please verify bolt size before ordering as the 63-77 Corvettes should have 9/16" bolts with a 13/16" hex head mounting the spring to the. This spring is a 315lb rated spring that fits 1963-77 Corvettes. The HD Rear Cover is made of high strength 63,000 SAE Alloy.

These boosters have the correct vacuum check valve, correct pedal push rod, correct SAE mount studs with correct size nuts, and clevis. This unit is ready. The plow needed some unforseen work and they got everything done for me in a very reasonable amount of time considering what had to be done. I initially contacted Muskegon Brake & Tire for a comparable quote. I spoke with Justin regarding my brake issue and concerns. He provided excellent information about my situation plus the quote for work was reasonable. Scheduling the service was an easy process -- a time was found that worked around my schedule and shuttle service was available to get to and from work.

Great service. I got a quote from another shop for my brakes that wanted to replace everything and these guys went in and let me know the calipers were still good. saved me over $500 compared to what the other shop quoted me. they were also very upfront about other things that need to be fixed but aren't immediate concerns. will definitely used them again for future repairs.

I brought my car in recently to have a possible oil leak and suspected hole in the exhaust system located. As always, I was impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff in front and grateful for the shuttle service. In addition, I appreciate their integrity. After doing a thorough search they told me no oil leak was found, so I would just owe for the test.

They found a couple other problems but said I could wait a few more months on them. That kind of honesty builds customer trust! They even cleaned out some animal nesting that was spotted near the engine. I'll definitely come back to Muskegon Brake & Repair in a few months when it's time to take care of those other repairs!
