If I could give them a negative star I would. Being rear ended is stressful enough, without having to deal with this store's customer service. I was shocked at the unprofessional treatment of the shop assistant manager, Keisha Arline. After waiting over a month for my appointment to open up and after Ascue's received a check from the insurance company, Keisha Arline refused to perform service on the car, cancelled my appointment, and yelled at me --all over the phone.

I have no clue how they have managed to stay in business for so many years if this is how they treat customers. Side note- Keith was great. He is the only good thing about this shop.

After our car was in an accident that damaged the driver's side front bumper and front quarter panel, I chose Ascue's for 2 reasons: 1. I had been happy with a previous repair there, approximately 10 years ago, and 2. I try to support local businesses whenever possible. However, our experience with them this time was a nightmare, and I cannot urge folks enough to avoid this place at all costs.

We took the car to them when they said they were ready for it. My car was there for 2 weeks, and I hadn't heard anything from them. I gave them a call and was told someone would call me back. No one did. I called again the next day. I was told a generic, "we are waiting on parts." When asked what parts were delayed, they could not tell me. Honestly, I don't believe they had even looked at my car at that point, 2 weeks into it being there.

Throughout the long process, I always had to call them for updates. My insurance company was also calling and getting placed on hold indefinitely, with no one coming back or returning calls. Communication is severely lacking from the Ascue's team. The place seems busy, but I wish they would have just told me that they couldn't do the work. I would have found some place that had the time and space to do it. Instead, they treated ME, the paying customer, as if I was a burden to them. Meanwhile, I had no car to drive.

Our car was drivable before we took it to them. I drove it twice. My husband drove it multiple times to work. However, after the long, drawn-out, poorly-communicated, incompetent process of Ascue's "repairing" it, our insurance ultimately had to total the car. This process took THREE MONTHS. We had no car for 3 months only to find out it was going to be totaled.

After Ascue's did the body work, which included replacing and rewiring a headlight, they started the car and managed the fry all of the wiring. It needed a new fuse box and ultimately a new main wiring harness, which when coupled with the other repairs put us above the 75% insurance value of the car. This car is valued at ~$13-14k, and Ascue's managed to have it totaled, after what seemed to be minor damage.

Although I cannot prove that the damage was due to their negligence/incompetence versus the accident, my personal opinion is that the work they did likely caused the electrical issues as a result of poor repairs. We checked under the hood after the accident, and there was no damage, and like I said, we drove it for a week after it was wrecked with absolutely no issues. Keith was extremely difficult to deal with throughout the process, and I agree with other folks who say that the attitude you get from others at the shop can best be described as sassy. Keith made thinly veiled threats about not completing the repairs on my car ~1 month into this process, because I was getting upset about how long it was taking and their lack of communication. Seriously.

I told my insurance company what he said to me, and they could not believe it. They recommended that I discuss with the owner, but honestly, they hired the guy, so they must be ok with how he conducts business. I believe my car would have been salvageable if taken elsewhere. However, after putting up with them for over 3 months, I'm honestly glad for it to be over at this point.

Why did it take 3 months to get here? They were often blaming my insurance company, saying they were waiting on a supplement to be approved. However, I would contact the insurance company immediately after speaking to Ascue's only to find out no supplement had been submitted. This happened multiple times, causing weeks of delays, while Ascue's did not seem to be concerned or apologetic about their mismanagement. Thankfully, the nightmare is over.

Don't go here, unless you want to be extremely frustrated, treated poorly, and potentially have your car incompetently "repaired". I have recommended this place to friends/ neighbors over the years--feel bad about that. The last person I recommended them to had a similar experience, with her car being there for months!

Very bad experience with Asst. Manager Keisha. It took literally 7 weeks to complete a horrible job. After the 7 weeks recovery the vehicle was returned for lack of screws missing on performed work areas. Had to return vehicle once again for mud flack that was personally mentioned during walk through estimate with Keisha. Spoke with Manager Craig and still waiting on those mud flaps. Had to take vehicle some place a lot more reputable and caring having respect for person vehicle as if they were repairing their very own vehicle not leaving important screws out.

I brought in my vintage Suzuki Samurai, which had been sitting in the hot California sun for about twenty-years. The red paint was faded and oxidized very severely. Ascue's decided to take on the project. It took two days of expert sanding, buffing, and waxing. The paint has been brought back to its near showroom condition! Excellent job from and excellent shop!

Very pleased with my experience and the work done at Ascue's. Had the hood of my car repainted as personal work, not through insurance. The estimate was right on target, scheduling was a breeze and the work was completed on time when it was promised. The car looks great and they made extra effort to get it looking it's best. I highly recommend Ascues.

I had an accident with a deer the caused damage to the hood and my windshield. Overall the staff were courteous. The repairs were initially supposed to take about 2 weeks. It ended up taking 5 weeks due to delayed parts (not Ascues fault) but also because Ascues didn't order the correct parts. About halfway in they realized they needed to order a new dashboard even though replacing the dash was part of the initial insurance claim.

Then when the part arrived they realized they didn't order the entire dash board and had to order a new part. During this process I was never called and informed, rather I had to call in myself and ask why the repairs were delayed so long. When the car was finally finished the repairs were done well. However, I found the seats had a bunch of new grease and dirt stains which is frustrating since it was only about 6 months old at the time. AND I specifically bought seat covers to prevent this which the mechanics removed for some unknown reason. Ascues is an adequate repair shop, but based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews I expected much better service.

I recently had a minor parking lot accident and Ascues did a great job repairing it quickly. Our Mercedes looks like new again. This was not my first experience with Ascues, 2 years ago my daughter's car was damaged by a hit and run driver and had significant front end damage. It looked better than before the accident after the repair, and the fit and paint match are still great. Craig, Kevin and everyone I dealt with were very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend Ascues.

Ascue's was the only part of my car wreck progress that wasn't a headache. Despite several issues with my insurance company and rental car, Ascue's maintained professionalism throughout the time my car was in the shop. Both Vince and Jordan were very communicative and explained things to me in very simple terms, which was relieving since it was my first wreck. Vince handled the estimate process with State Farm as well as all rental car issues so that communication was streamlined through him, and he was always available when I called the shop. Jordan went above and beyond to make sure my car was fixed correctly, according to the manufacturers policy, even after State Farm decided not to cover the extra costs.

In the end, I had to pay a little more since my insurance didn't cover certain items, but I am overly satisfied with the repair shop I chose and the people who helped me. Not to mention, Craig Ascue was only a phone call away the entire time as well. Thankful to have a family owned and operated, reliable, trustworthy and local repair shop in Ascue's.

Ascue's Rocks! From the moment I walked in and met Vince, I knew my car was in safe and expert hands. Ascue's repaired my rear bumper and buffed out the entire paint job ridding it of tree sap. They clearly are experts in auto body repair - the Best! I grew up as the son of an old auto-body repairman and I know he would have gladly worked for such an old established and technically professional outfit. I have total confidence in Ascue's up-to-date technology and techniques - complete trust. I heartily and highly recommend Ascue's for any Auto Body and Paint services.
