So I called and talked to the receptionist and asked for Bobby to call me back, he did not. So I called them and asked for Bobby the next day. When Bobby came to the phone he said that he forgot to call me. Going forward I asked him about how quickly I could get my car in, and out of his shop and he said that he was booked for weeks and it wouldn't be until the end of April? I have got to say that the customer service definitely is an issue, you need to step it up a bit!

I walked in to see about getting an estimate and was met with. silence. Ok, maybe all those people sitting right in front of me are busy, maybe. After what seemed like a long time I hear, "What do you want?" Well, this is an auto body shop right, I'm here to inquire about getting my car fixed I said. Seemed simple enough, but they were busy, didn't want to talk about it and it was too late in the day apparently to do an estimate. Fine, I'll go somewhere else with my money.
I left feeling like I don't matter to these people at all so I left never to return. Found another shop with a better attitude and excellent work where I actually matter. News for you Camarillo Autobody, how I feel matters! Good riddance!

I damaged my new truck tailgate. The damage required dent repair and a repaint of the tailgate. The damage was corrected completely and the paint match was perfect. Camarillo Auto body made the truck look new again. The estimate was spot on and the repair was delivered on time. Hopefully I won't need their service again but if needed I would not hesitate to return to them.

Buyer beware.takes forever to get your car back. You would think GEICO would associate with a vendor responsible. I did not get a call responsive to their "automated" emails saying when my car would be ready, so I just showed up. Jason was very condescending and pissed at me for showing up -- didn't explain the paperwork to pick up the car. Then, I had to review my own car while he spent time reviewing another car that came after me and when I inquired why was I not given the same courtesy, he said "it was because of my attitude" when all I wanted was them to communicate with me. Dude, you are in customer service -- if you want repeat customers (and referrals), then act like it! Addendum -- he also threatened to report me to social media and GEICO.WTH.

I had a great experience here and would recommend this place with all my heart. Especially if you've had a bad experience with a body shop before like I did. Bobby is very professional, attentive and approachable. He did a fantastic job fixing my red Veloster. Service was fast and I didn't have to wait for the paper work either. Customer service Eva was very helpful and available whenever I had questions. *I cannot speak for all the people who work there, so if you're hesitant - Just ask for Bobby.

After being rear-ended in my Porsche, I was prepared for the inconvenience that generally follows~ I met with Robbie at Cam Auto Body, he assessed the damage, explained the repairs, his office had already arranged my pick-up by Enterprise to get my rental car, and a few days later my car was like new~~impeccable work. Bobby was very helpful, he called with updates and seemed genuinely concerned. The staff there was all friendly and professional. When I was waiting another staff entered the room and quickly noticed and asked if anyone was helping me. The completed work was beyond my expectations. They made a stressful situation a little better.

CONCLUSION I must commend the owner of Camarillo Autobody for fully rectifying the start of a bad experience and turning it into a positive learning experience. The work performed and the finished product was all we could hope for. Thank you to Camarillo Autobody for an overall good experience. If we need autobody work in the future we will be back. UPDATE!
The owner of Camarillo Autobody reached out to us. He was unaware of the mask situation and the poor customer service. He is now making every effort to make sure we are very kindly taken care of. Mask issue is now under control. Once work is complete I will edit the review. Original post prior to owner contact; I have never felt more unsafe and disrespected at any business than my visit today to Camarillo Autobody.
My wife and I are both over 65, my wife just went through Chemotherapy and radiation. Not only were they not wearing masks in the small office, but when asked to do so, Robert the manager got downright rude to me. Needless to say we walked out and went elsewhere. If this was a sample of their service we would get then we were lucky we never started with them. Thanks to Camarillo Autobody for wasting our time and causing further agitation to an already rough day. I will be updating this post in 10 days when all should be complete.

I never post reviews but had to for this. They repaired my car to make it look like the day I bought it. I was concerned that my car's unique paint would be difficult to match, but they took the time and effort to get what looks like an exact match. Couldn't be more satisfied, stop looking go to this shop!

I personally want to thank Gary, the owner of Camarillo auto body, for doing such a superlative job in remedying my issues with his company. He did not try to rationalize or minimalize the bad behaviors that were on display when I visited the shop. To the contrary, he handled the mask problem immediately and with great authority. In addition my car was repaired quicker than expected I am very satisfied with his service. He went over and above to make me happy and I am happy to recommend him to anyone needing bodywork in the future. Thank you again Gary!

I read a couple of the reviews and was extremely surprised. I had exactly the opposite experience. My car was supposed to be done in 3 weeks it was done almost a week before. I got a call that my car will be done the next day. I also received an explanation of what was done. I had a small problem after 2 weeks, and was taken care of immediately. Robert, keep up the good work and the great customer service!

The staff was very helpful, however they did not completely diagnose the damage to my car after an accident. I have a 2018 Subaru Forester, and I had to return it twice for issues I believe they should have discovered while evaluating my car before and then after repairs. I had to utilize the Subaru dealership in Ventura for final repairs.

Recently got in a car accident and was giving a different location and auto body repair through geico, I yelp the review and went off of my option was given. The choice between was given per the other body shop has 3 stars vs 4ish stars you guess where I'm going with this of course I went with the higher rating vs the lower one and I'm glad I did.
Over all the experience was good the only down side was I had to call the day before my rental/ car was finish/due to check status on it per I didn't want to get charge for an extra day on rental. They overall kept me updated and was nice to provide me with all the information I need. They quoted me for 3 days but I got the car back on the 4th day which I'm ok with per the owner didn't like how there was damaged to the previous bumper and didn't allow that type of work. I would recommend this shop to my friends and family.
