This is the 2nd time I have gone to AR transmission and both times they have conducted themselves professionally. Each time I have needed my transmission rebuilt on the same vehicle. The 2nd time I did not pay a dime because even after 2 plus years it was still under warranty. When you buy a brand new car sometimes the power train warranty is 3 years or a 100,000 miles. That is exactly what AR transmission's warranty was on their work. My car felt so smooth when I drove it after they worked on it. I would recommend them to anybody.

Gabe was super rude to my father. Paid a lot of money for a new transmission and my dad went to pay for it. My father wants to make sure it's working properly because he lives in Colorado. Gabe was very rude to my dad and had terrible customer service. I don't understand why he was so rude to my dad and acting like my father didn't know what he was talking about.
Towards the end he started to be a little nicer but I work in customer service and when I'm at work I'm as nice as possible to every customer no matter what! Also, it's not like we were rude when he came in. We asked how his day was and you could tell he had a bad day. However he's at work. Just my opinion will update on how my father's new transmission holds up.

Randy Aaronian kindly provided me weekend phone advice and then when the shop opened on Monday he generously assisted me with the problem giving his expertise and time. Rude & Overpriced! I have been stopping by to transmissions shops and AR was about 5 times priced more than other places. They gave us a price of $500.00 for a diagnostic. This place is the only place that will take advantage of people. Like come on really, $500? If you didn't want to do it just say it! Be honest! I definitely will NOT refer anyone to AR transmissions! All shops were booked and unavailable for more than a week out.

Steve was great with email responses on my questions, Car is at the shop now, so far the experience is good, although the cost of a transmission repair is high, it is an investment, right? Will leave a review after all is done and let you know how that went. The work went well, had the car back for 4 weeks or more now, transmission is working great, car is as it was when i dropped it off. No problems. So far so good, any updates i will report back here

Good experience overall. just like you I browsed the interwebs looking for a shop to work on my vehicle bad reviews always make you a bit skeptical but to be honest I had to see for myself and I was not disappointed. They took care of me and answered all my questions. After having my transmission inspected, turned out it was in decent shape ended up just getting the transmission serviced for about 30$ cheaper than the other shops I reached out to.

I had car problems with my Dodge magnum. When I drove my car on the freeway speeding up to the speed limit, it started revving up. I wasn't quite sure if it was a slipping Transmissions or something else related to it, but they diagnosed it and found out it was the torque converter clutch and solenoid body valve. Because of my miles they recommended that I just replaced the transmission verses getting those two fixed would be just about as much as getting a new.
If I planned on having a reliable car for further down the road. I am a short girl and skeptical when going to a shop I've never been to. I spoke to Steve and he was very knowledgeable and very polite and gave me his true honest opinion. Thank You Steve!

I was treated like crap. First of all you never finished the work you were supposed to do.you caused damage to my vehicle. You lied to AAA and they are still investigating your business. The better bussiness bureau has a complaint filed and God knows how many otthers you have done this to.only to lie about it afterwards. You didnt even give the ten percent AAA discount.

AR Transmission, good, honest, kind. I was in a bad way. Broke down and from Los Angeles area. Steve, Gabe, and Rich, took care of me. Diagnosis with the most affordable care, drove me to get a rental car. My 2003 Dodge PU is like brand new. Need a reliable service or repair, I strongly recommend AR Transmission in Fresno. Easy to find location and Great Customer Service.
