I brought my newly purchased Volvo S60 Turbo to Henry for problematic noises and horn not working. Not only did Henry & his mechanics fix the problem same day, their work fixed other problems; hazard signal. Very good pricing and moving forward, Henry is my mechanic. I really like that dude. Thank You Henry & Staff!

Henry knows exactly what he is doing. He tells you straight up what the car needs and doesn't play games. I trust him with my Audi repair completely.

I have been taking my cars to Lakeside International Auto/Henry for many years, 2 Saabs, a Lexus and now my Audi A5 Convertible. I typically go to the dealer for warranty and services to start and if the dealer give me a crazy quote I go to Lakeside International Auto or when the warrantee is over Henry is my guy. I have had multiple times where I was told $3,000-$5,000+ dollars by a dealer and he figures it out for usually under $1,000 or less always for a reasonable price based on the level of work.

New tires, not $6,000 in suspension work, a loose engine plate that only needed tightening not $2,000 in repairs. Recently even helped with a poor Audi truck design that cut wires blowing one of the $900+ LED clusters with a affordable solution that should not fail again. Audi actually told me I open my trunk too much, WHAT? The Audi dealer I was going to has an hourly rate of somewhere about $290 an hour and charge flat fees like $300 per item to trouble shoot not by the amount of time they actually takes. Charging for 8 hours of labor but done while you wait for 2 hours?

While you watch one person work on your car, granted they have an amazing cup of coffee and a muffin and lately Audi has been skipping washing your car. Henry has taken good care of me and my cars and understands wanting to drive a car like it was designed, will help you debate which item need to be done now or later if you are on a budget. Thank you Lakeside!

Let's say you drive a Maserati Ghibli, you might need or want to settle for the franchise dealership prices before you try this place. If you decide not to listen to my warning and try this place, ask to know what it will cost you first before anything is done to your care. Why? because you might regret not asking for prices first. I'm a car guy and this guy still ripped me a new one.

FELLOW GOOGLERS! LISTEN TO OTHERS! READ REVIEWS. I DIDNT. If you want to pay for the worst service come over here! This Shop is on its last leg. Barely surviving by lying, ripping off honest customers. Owner is Henry is a very dishonest and arrogant person who lost his touch and doesn't know much about modern cars. All his certificates are from 2001. TODAY IS 2019. They service is one of the worst in Chicago.

Charged $413 for his parts and labor. The very same component failed 9 months later. At this point, I learned that the component was NEVER changed. Same original part. Further, I contacted the parts store (O'Reilly's), who informed me that the part was purchased AND RETURNED on the same day. This shop never did the work. SHADY! SHADY! SHADY!

My BMW showed a service engine light and then a flat tire or unstable tire light. I took the car to Lakeview International because he was close to where I lived and I was afraid the car felt unstable. Henry told me that he fixed everything; the tires were inflated and fine. I would never see the lights again. He reset the computer. He changed all the filters and the spark plug and gave the car a tune up to "factory specifications." He charged me over 740 something dollars, about half for the filters and tune up parts.

But two weeks later the service lights were back on. I asked him how much he charged for his labor? 110 dollars an hour, he replied, he was BMW certified. His two mechanics were immigrants who spoke no English and he directed rather than performed work in the shop. The car was there for a few hours. No one fixed the problem that brought me to the shop. I got the most expensive tune up in town.

You will regret ever taking your car here. The smooth talking owner will act like he's your best friend all the while with he's hand in your wallet. I have a Mercedes-Benz 350 sl wich has 40000 miles on it. A month ago my check engine light came on so i figured I'd take it to a specialist for a tune up and to replace some coils so i took it here. The owner diagnosed my car with faulty coils number 5 and 6 and gave me a price for the coils and tune up of $860 dollars.

When i picked up my car the shop owner told me that my motor mounts and tie rods are about to break off the car and i should not drive it cause i might die. I thought how can that be since it's got low miles so i took it elsewhere for a second opinion and was told there's nothing wrong with the tie rods or motor mounts. Today my check engine light came back on so i took it in to another shop and found out that the number 6 coil was bad the same coil that lakeside supposedly changed a month ago and charged me for. Lakeside only changed number 5 and charged me for two. So don't be a victim like me take your car anywhere eles but here.

Dishonest and lied straight to my face. Tried to overcharge on an agreed upon price where he added freon without calling and asking for $65 extra charge. On top of this, Henry cussed me out and fired one of his employees right in front of us.
