Easily my favorite place to take my car to get worked on/ for oil changes. Shawn is always very fast, efficient, and informative. He always gives me tons of information to help me better understand all of the things I've had going on with my car. Thanks Shawn!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Shawn over at Family Auto Clinic for close to 15 years and wouldn't trust any other mechanic to work on them. He is extremely knowledgeable and will explain to you in detail the problem and what will be involved to get the repair done right. I just brought my 2017 Jaguar in to Shawn last week and he found me top quality rotors and brake pads and did the job for a fraction of the price that the dealership wanted. I highly recommend Family Auto Clinic. Once you meet Shawn and see how honest, meticulous, and skilled of a technician he is you won't bring your vehicle anywhere else.

The Toyota dealer's service dept. gave a cryptic description of the problem that my car was having. So when l had another mechanic give a quote on the work, they couldn't tell me with any certainty, how much it was going to cost. Shawn, on the other hand gave a best and worst case scenario (both of which were less than the dealer's quote). Shawn was even able to explain the complexity of the problem that other shops were having, but assured me that he knew what the problem was. Sean at Family Auto Clinic helped me immediately when I called in a panic with a punctured tire and a deadline to pick up kids from school in a few hours. When it turned out the tire couldn't be patched, he explained why, hopped on the phone to order replacements and put on my spare in the meantime. Next day he made installation a priority, knowing I needed to be able to transport kids and get home. All in all just a great experience.

This was my first time at Family Auto; great attention to details, knowledgeable, professional and friendly. The owner was able to accommodate my scheduling with ease. Very clean environment, quality service at a fair price. I will be a repeat customer.

Shawn has been our mechanic for almost 20 years, working on 6 different vehicles during that time. We trust him explicitly - - He is always honest, informative and to the point so that we have the necessary information to make decisions concerning repairs. - He stands by his work and our cars have performed better because of his knowledge, experience and talent. - He is always friendly and available to discuss what to do for the best outcome possible. - We have never felt "overfixed" or overcharged and believe that he does his best to keep costs down whenever possible. However, he does not cut any corners that are necessary and always does what's best for the customer's vehicle and their safety. I purchased a car from them they said they had been operating on for quite some time. Routine maint, oil changes, and maybe some larger jobs. The vehicle was plagued with fluid leaks and electrical shorts. I listened to a list of services they performed on the vehicle backed up to a year. I got the vehicle back to my town and have been working on it in my spare time for the past few weeks.

I knew I would have to put work into it, but I realize either the list of work they said they performed doesn't match the evidence in the vehicle or the person who worked on it over time is quite unskilled or careless. 1. If the oil pan and valve covers are swampy and leaking like open faucets, why continue to do simple oil changes instead of fixing the leaks?

Or at least advising it? I also found a team of electrical shorts around the battery based on the work of someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Don't let a great personality sell you faulty workmanship on your vehicle. * I did not pay a lot for this vehicle, but I am pointing out issues with a vehicle I was told had been in their trust and care over a long period of time. **I said I was fixing it to give to my friend in need, Not resell it.

I actually repeated it to you more than twice, although that is not what this is about. The list of repairs was basic through the owner's observation. I am speaking of extra stuff I found through faulty workmanship of your shop- as you said you had been maintaining this vehicle for a long period of time. And I have already stated that. I'm still glad I found this vehicle, but I felt people should be updated on potentially what kind of service they receive.

I highly recommend this facility! I always felt like I was in the dark whenever I had our vehicles serviced at the dealership. Well not anymore! Shawn is not only a great service technician, but also a great person.he takes you under his wing and treats you respectfully. He lets you know what you need now, what you don't need now and what you might need to consider in the future. Definitely worth the trip!
