J & J Auto Body

I am reviewing based on the quality of work and the customer service I received. My car got rear-end in late march of this year (2022) and took my car here because my insurance company recommended them. It did take about twice the time they initially told me buy they kept me up to date on every step of the way. Sometimes I called them asking how things were going and they were happy to keep me in the loop.

Upon getting my car back, I was very satisfied with the quality of work performed. The cost didn't even matter to me because the insurance of the guy who rear-ended me was covering it anyways. The one thing I learned through all this process is that I should've gone straight to the other guys insurance instead of opening the claim with my insurance because I did have to pay a deductible when picking up my car and now I'm waiting for my insurance to send me back the money from the other insurance. Seems kinda dumb to me but that's how they say it works.

I was referred to J & J from my insurance company as they were in their approved network. Original estimate for the repairs was for almost 3k, which my insurance company approved. J and J only performed half of the work that was originally quoted. They totally missed the rear of my truck bed that was damaged in the accident. It was minor damage, but still needed repairs.

I pointed this out to them and they were like, "Oh we must have missed that". And the guy comes out with a buffer and cutting compound and attempts to buff it. How can you miss something that you quoted to be repaired. Now i have mediocre repairs at best, and have to clean the cutting paste that he slung all over the truck. Also, had to have them pick my vehicle back up to adjust the door as it was blowing air into the cab. front fender and door look great, but there was no blending into the rear door.

So i have an absolute flawless door with no blend into the rear door. Not even a cut and buff to blend it. also, they missed the big scuff/scratched on my running boards that was also quoted to be repaired. I thought about bringing it back, but instead i just called my insurance company and notified them of my experience. Terrible that you have a truck worth 38k and now it looks like there were repairs done. Definitely would not be my first choice for repair in the future.

This review should have been done a few years ago when I had my new Passat repaired there after having someone change lanes into the drivers side of the.vehicle. The car was repaired quickly and the workmanship cannot be complimented enough. The fit and finish was like new. I'm still in awe on just how good it came out. Talk about pride in your work. Whomever did the work is an artist, in my opinion. This place may not look fancy and modern but the results are second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop.

This is the best auto shop around. Not only do they do fantastic work at a great price but their approach to customer service is fantastic. If you call around to other shops they will actually recommend J and J to you. Check them out and you will see why they are the best around. Loren, Connie and Jeff are amazing at keeping you updated on your repairs. Their motto is "Still small enough to care" and they absolutely live up to it.

They got the job done very well this is that they took forever to do it. I don't know if they were really booked because we do have a lot of potholes in our town and that can cause a ton of repair work on people's vehicles, but it took nearly a month and a half for them to replace the roof of a car after a tree branch selling it. The car was quite drivable and there's no interior damage just a really ugly outside cosmetic issue.

It felt like this job could be done within 1 week instead of the time it took them to do it. overall I would recommend this service to other people's if overall I would recommend their service to the people. The outcome came out awesome despite the long wait.
