Was buying a used car. Had village do the inspection. Amazingly thorough. They presented all the cars needs in an organized fashion. Divides things up on safety. Really helpful in understanding status of car. We also had them do some of the critical repairs. Great people to work with Services: Vehicle safety inspection, Brakes, Battery

Excellent customer service with an active interest in transparency and communication. Quick repair from knowledgable mechanic. Had a wheel stud replaced. They included a general inspection and found some other items that needed repair, but were not pushy about using their services to make those repairs. Highly reccomend.

We brought in our car in for a simple battery replacement and they ended up finding a major safety issues. My husband and I had sometimes heard a strange noise while driving but could never figure out where it was coming from. We had forgotten about it when we brought the car in but thankfully the repairman found the issue. Our wheel could have fallen off while driving! I'm so thankful it was spotted before something bad happened.

The post repair invoice did not provide corrective action however the video provided by email did provide a very good review of everything done. The invoice can be less than descriptive of the CORRECTIVE action taken. Mine (invoice) was very generic. Be sure to review the good video. Work done was very through.

I had worked with Village through my previous employer. I had been with a local reputable auto repair shop. Last repair we had them do on a customer's vehicle I was very impressed by the fantastic, thorough, detailed communication throughout the repair. I was constantly texted detailed photos and descriptions and explained any new repairs that came about during the process.

Not only the text messages, but also detailed photos. If that wasn't enough I received videos showing the problems. I was so impressed that I was a little embarrassed of my own shops lack of technological advances in auto repair communication. They were truly on top of it the entire repair. When I went back to pick up the vehicle. They went over other issues and pulled up those problems showing on large monitors that were above the service writer stations along with the finalized invoice. Wonderful job explaining the repairs and the communication throughout the process.

Work quality is good, and the staff is friendly. There are stores/cafes/restaurants to chill at nearby while you wait. My oil change went up about $20 from last time though (I got it from the same place, same oil). Service: General repairs & maintenance

The Serpentine belt on my car popped off and I was waiting for a tow from AAA. I called and they told me they could get to it the next day and possibly even same day. So my car got towed to the place and I was told the price for repair if it was a simple fix. They finished it up the next morning and I was able to get it picked up. Other shops were booked up a few days to weeks out, but Village Transmission was able to get me in and out fast. I'd definitely bring my vehicle back here again.

Fantastic service. My wife and I traveled over to the west side of the state to visit family on her side for the holidays. My jeep had a transmission light that had came on and was just struggling. They were able to diagnose the problem to find out it wasn't the transmission but something else. Rhis saved us so much money. They were able get us on the road in the next day or two.

We are so thankful that they were able to get it fixed in a timely manner. They were extremely thorough with everything while supplying us with photo reviews of the work that was done. Thank you again and I would highly recommend them for any other work in the future.

I was referred to Dave and his shop by some very close friends who have had nothing but the best service from Village Transmission & Auto Care. When I went to this shop I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent customer service, they were very knowledgeable and very courteous. Right away I got the best feeling that they were going to be transparent and honest with what we needed to have done to our inherited Toyota Tacoma. Dave and his crew understood that we just wanted to make sure the truck was safe and in the best condition for our son who will be driving for the first time in the next year.

The automotive technician preformed a very comprehensive Inspections of the vehicle and provided us with a very detailed report on everything they inspected, including pictures for documentation. They essentially looked at every nut and bolt right down to the rear Back up light bulbs. They then gave us a report on each moving part and how it preforms, if it was worn, or if there was a suggestion on replacement.

This was the most comprehensive report I have ever seen and it was broken down to parts in good condition, may need to be addressed soon or must be addressed right away. They were able quickly and successfully diagnose any problem with my vehicle and recommended a solution. We then had a conversation on the " must be complete " tasks and the cost.

I was fortunate enough to work through all of the points with Dave and I feel like he treated me as if I was family, maybe a younger brother. There was never any thoughts that he was trying to up sell his services or do anything to the truck that I was not fully onboard with. We finally got to what we wanted to be done, and a cost for all of the services. Dave and his team went right to work and finished the truck quicker than expected, and they even adjusted the bill as they did not use all of the time they had originally billed it for.

So I feel I left in record time, paid a lot less than I was originally quoted, then left with a great relationship with a reputable trustworthy team of experts and a truck that is going to be safe for my new driver in the family. I highly recommend this auto repair shop to anyone who requires auto service. They go above and beyond for the customers and there are very few people that understand the value of honesty and integrity like the folks at Village Transmission & Auto Care. Thanks Dave and your whole crew

Took my car (that I bought used from a dealership a few months back) in for a couple of minor complaints that were "potentially covered" by my warranty (FYI: Reputable warranty companies are VERY hard to find, mine is not good. But I digress.) I opted for a brake check and was very glad I did. While no one wants to take a car in for minor issues that should only cost a few hundred dollars only to find out there are a couple pretty serious issues that are going to cost a few thousand, I was glad about their commitment to the safety of my vehicle. (Really, it's just MY luck to go in for a faulty back up camera and then find out there's a hole in my rotor and my transmission is leaking. Groan!) Because of the much higher than expected expense I showed the diagnostic and quote to both my (out-of-state) service writer friend and another mechanic.

Both agreed that the quote wasn't unfair and one told me a service I could save a little on. The mechanic did accidentally complete a repair (minor, for the passenger window) that I had turned down for the time being to save a little money short-term but Curt (the service writer on my repair) called me immediately and explained the mistake to let me know that the repair would not cause my bill to go up any, but would appear on the completed invoice. Curt was extremely attentive and went out of his way to draft a number of quotes to help me decide which problems I could address immediately and which could wait.

I've had my car back for a couple of weeks now and waited to write this up in case I noticed any latent complaints or repair quality issues, but I haven't experienced any problems whatsoever. While this shop is not the place to go if you're looking for the lowest rate (mechanics typically between $150-$200 per hour, this one is right about mid-range, so still affordable) it IS a good place to go if you're looking for quality and professionalism.

I will not hesitate to bring my car back should I need repairs in the future! (P.S. Curt, if you see this I want to thank you and your mechanics again for your attention to the safety of my car, rather than only addressing my complaints. I'm extremely grateful that you all know cars so well and could clearly point out to me what the real issues were!)
