Daryl worked for four years under his Father who added Automotive A/C repair. Daryl ventured out on his Own in 1981 and purchased an old run down service station from another retiring gentleman. The original business was called Daryl's Mobil. After a few months the business name was changed to Daryl's Radiator Center.

(Real name not used) W.B. I have brought my 2003 Chevy Silverado here for some belts, hose and brake replacements and could not be more pleased. I stand by their motto of being truly honest mechanics. After an initial inspection, they gave me a breakdown of the current issues with my truck and have not pressured me into anything I did not want. The inspection results were broken down and very easy to read and understand yet very detailed which allowed me to decide what needed to be done straight away and what could wait. Pricing- Their prices seemed to be fair.
I did some checking around and their prices were just about in-line with what everyone else in the area were charging. I read a previous review where someone had complained that their cost for parts and labor were elevated almost 100% versus buying the parts yourself. While this maybe true, paying for the parts and paying Honest to install them is well worth the money when you factor in that a professional will be fixing your ride right the first time and the parts and work are guaranteed.
In the past I have done most of my own work on my vehicles and a majority of the time something was messed up or didn't go as planned and cost me major time and money to get it right. Having the folks at Honest One do it not only saves me time and money but also gives me a huge piece of mind that it will be done correctly and that is worth more than paying a few extra bucks for parts. Labor/work done- Their mechanics were awesome and did a fantastic job.
They did exactly what I requested and if there were any changes, they would call me before going ahead with anything else. The mechanic did an awesome job on my truck. I have no complaints what-so-ever. Customer Service- The desk staff were very nice and able to answer all of my questions. They were upfront with all my options and assisted me with what I needed. Scheduling was extremely easy, as a truck driver my schedule is often changing and they were, and continue to be, very flexible.
This is another factor that makes the cost worth while. Another huge plus was the loaner vehicle. The loaner allows you the ability to not have to be stuck for any length of time and do what you need to do while they work on your ride. 5 star all the way. I will continue to come here as long as I need to and would suggest them to anyone.

I had a brake problem checked out at honest one. I spent 1100.00$ and continued to have issues. I bought it back a second time still having the same issues. I bought it to a different shop to find out the real issue. It was repaired at the second shop for 250.00$. I will not be returning to this shop.

The crew at Honest 1 Auto rescued me after a catalytic converter theft. I don't live in Minneapolis, I flew into MSP facing a 3 hour drive home. I was back on the road within 24 hours with a newly installed converter and a CAT Shield to protect from further thefts of this type and an oil change. They were efficient, professional and extremely considerate of my situation. I cannot recommend them enough. Marc, Andrew and the whole team will take care of you.

Took my truck in for diagnostic for a coolant leak. They fixed it but also called and said the other side of the line started to leak bad and it was going to cost $611.00 to fix. It was not fixed for a couple of weeks due to money. My gut feeling is that the mechanic over extended the part to make it leak very bad. When I took it in to get it fixed they called and said that they were waiting for parts so I didn't get it back on time.
When they called and said the truck was done I went to pay for it the cost was $76. 00 more than the estimate. They said that they fixed parts that were not approved to fix and nothing wrong with it. Their excuse was that since that they were in the truck that they went ahead and fixed it. They used my 75.00 coupon for the extra cost which the coupon was not intended to be used on the extra cost.
Nothing was done or taken care of because of the way that this happened and no adjustments were made because the cost of the extra fix was not approved. Once again my gut feeling is that the machanic must have broke something and I was billed for it. The owner of this location heard everything going on and walked away without trying to settle things with me, and my gut feeling is that he knows what really happened and refusing to tell us what happened.
I liked this place until this happened. So at this point our vehicles will be taken somewhere else until they make things right with me and terminate the female counter person for refusing to call for approval for extra repairs, and to me this is considered theft. I am also going to send this review to Ford so they know what happened to my truck and the service I received.

Really good service, amazing customer care, they show you details for what you want to have done or what you need to have done. 0 complaints and a very, VERY friendly staff. Main office is a bit heavy with echoes, but minus that. I'll be back there again! I appreciate the help and getting papers to actually assist with items I should get done, they don't have any additional work done with hidden fees and are on the dot with exact pricing for other work you can get done. 10/10 I'm getting everything done here from now on.

Honest-1 is the SLOWEST oil change you will ever get. But for really good reasons. Instead of receiving a little colored checklist from the technician for things that they never actually looked at, you get a detailed analysis of your cars function with pictures sent to your phone that is INCLUDED with the oil change. You also get the name and picture of the technician who did the work, which is so nice just in-case.
In addition, this is all included in a really inexpensive ($45 Full synthetic) oil change. Now you're probably wondering. with such a detailed inspection they are DEFINITELY going to find something bogus to try and sell you. And of course, the tech comes in to show me my air filter. to tell me it might need replacing in the next service or two. Didn't even mention a quote or suggest it be done now.
During my last two oil changes, they didn't mention anything. And all three times they spent 1-2 HOURS with my car in the hands of the technician looking it over. I have not been to them for any other services yet, but I, for once, with all sorts of reservations in my head, dare I say. trust these people for general maintenance on my car. So if you want service from a dealership-quality staff for jiffy-lube prices, check them out. And to be honest, I'm only gushing over them because I want them to stay in business and I have no idea how they can at their prices without more people flooding in!

Had a great experience with Honest 1. They were thorough and talked me through the steps they were going to take to determine the problem with my air conditioner before they worked on it. They were very professional and fair in their prices. The waiting room was very nice and they ended up finishing the work on my car in less than the estimated time. We will definitely be back for our future car needs.

Very nice folks. Great Customer Service! Took my car in to have a possible leak looked at. They did an overall check of my car and sent a link via text that detailed the issues that they found with pictures! Each area was categorized as "immediate attention" and "future attention". Seeing pictures was very helpful. Prices are very reasonable. They also gave me a ride to and from the shop. Highly recommend.
