Auto & Truck Bumpers

Took my chrome from my 51 Ford Woody there to get re-plated. Couple months later went to pick them up and was told about 1/2 couldn't be plated as too thin. Was obvious they subed them out to another service as there was another person's name engraved in my pieces! About half of the rest that got re-plated still had pits and imperfections on the surfaces and looked terrible.

The back of the bumpers had what looked like big drips and areas that were flaking off! Sent my parts off to get re-chromed by another service and came back beautiful. Wasted $2800 on this shop and wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

They treat you like family. Walking with my 50 Chevy front bumper and walked out with a 50 Chevy front bumper. I'm very pleased.

I wish I could give this guy a minus, purchased a bumper, wrong one, never looked at till I got home. Where I figured it was the wrong one, and the chrome was horrible. The wrapper on the bumper said redo. Not a good sign. As a businessman I would know what is going out with my name on it. Had to drive all the way back to Hayward to get my cores back and money and exchange.

Davids been around for long time that dosent happen so easy so it tells u something his a straight shooter good bumpers with food quality chrome and for your old school needs he has some of the hard to find stuff like visors

Had some parts chromed, brought back within a month bubbling not completely covered.just picked up again and now it is worse. Owner tells me it will be $3,000.00 to do the piece right. Guess he cant do it right? This time more bubbling of chrome, rough spots, and worse. Service is not good, lady has personality of a fish, owner is full of crap. I guess the stories were true from others, AVOID THEM FOR CHROME! NOW MY RECCOMENDATION IS YES, AVOID THEM.

Now I have to take to a reputable shop and have completely redone correctly and professionally. He said my part was old and to paint over bubbling chrome. If I wanted to paint it, I would have. Only get bit by a snake once!

I inquired about a front bumper at their booth at a GoodGuys event. They charged me an additional core fee, but reassured me that they would schedule a pick up for my core and refund my fee. When I got home I opened the package and saw that the bumper was for a 1971, but the box was labeled 1970. I tried to arrange for a swap when they pick up my core.

They never came to pick up my core or correct the issue after several scheduled pick ups. The quality of the bumper that they gave me at the event had several pitted areas that was chromed over.

Drove 3 hours one way to go here after being quoted and scheduled. I get here they have no idea who I am, no longer will do 2 of the parts and the othe 2 they more than double the price! What a poor excuse for a business plus service was garbage. Will NEVER bring my business stuff here again

I looked for years a local Monterey place to re-chrome a huge coffee table. Then I broke the 5 X 5 glass top. Searched everywhere to have the table re-chromed and these people did it in a very short time. It is beyond beautiful. Better than I expected. I would recommend them for all your chrome needs. Very friendly people too. Thank you!

Had my entire front grill of my 1954 Pontiac done by them. Turned out great! Great collection of old school cars there they know their stuff.

It was well worth the drive from Chico to Hayward to get quality & affordable work. They also helped me with questions I had on parts for this 1939 car we are restoring. I feel like I can call them again for help and will continue using them as they have made it easy to ship parts back to me. Thank you again Auto & Truck

Customer service is great. They fixed the bumper of my car and can't even tell that it was damage from the accident I had. My husband took my car to them around 8am. They fix it right away. I can recommend them to my friends.

These people are a joke! Rates are high and the work is crap. Waited over a month to get a parts back they screwed up in the first place. I would stay far away from this joker. Can't stand dishonest people.

Were not open during "business hours". Left voicemail, sent email through website, and called other times no response. Shady business!

I took a set of door post to have re-chromed for a1964 iMPALA. Three months later and several phone calls i was told it was ready. I picked up the re-chromed parts and found out they didn't do a good job on re-chroming. I took it back David the owner told me it was good enough and wasn't going to do anything else. LESSON LEARNED. Many of my friends told me not to take it there. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. If you don't want disappointing results. Stay clear from this place.

We brought in our 64 Galaxie rear bumper. Had surface rust and a couple of small dents. Came out looking perfect! And for about half of what we were priced in Sacramento.

This place is never open. I attempted to go about 3 time and yelp says they are open, but they never are. I can only imagine how their workmanship is compared to their customer service. I say pass on this place.

Asked david if he had a 49 olds 88 bumper told him I was building a custom and I had a rear 49 olds 88.he said he had it in his la warehouse be a few weeks was getting close to good guys in Pleasanton so I ask if he could bring it there and he did I paid him in advance as felt a reputable shop would not screw me over. I go to show and he has a old bumper core no gaurds brackets ect, and that was fine I guess I take n something wasn't sitting rite so found a 49 olds 88 in car coral and took pictures of it and mine went back to him n he said no problem he had another in la must have been a mix up 4 weeks later he finally has it so I thought I ask him to take a picture and text it to me he does and just as my gut feeling same bumper. resend pictures of bumper and he gets back to me a week later telling me o that's a 6 piece bumper and he has one but it will cost me more.ive already paid him $450.00 for the wrong bumper.and to this day he has not come up with the bumper and will not refund money.i guess lesson learned don't trust david the owner of auto & truck bumper recyclers now after my experience I have heard of similar situation but poor quality chrome work that they never made good.so I would never do business with this company nor recommend n

GREAT job replating my bumper guards. Turnaround time ran a little long, but it was worth it. THANKS!
