I have a 2007 dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins. I took it to junior and his crew and not only they were fast getting my truck done but the quality is perfect. My transmission torque converter was locking up and they got it done in 3 days. I've been running my edge tuner on performance and I'm still getting 33.3 mpg. Shifts like butter. I highly recommend these gentlemen

The only repair shop in the area that offered a 2 year warranty on rebuilds for me. The rebuild behaved just like the original in all respects. "Junior" was always helpful with scheduling and explained thoroughly what had failed in the transmission and what was going to be done. They are now my transmission shop. Service: Transmission

Went here for years, they did a great job with my old cars so I kept going there. Bought another used car, check engine light came on for the transmission, they told me it was overheating and needed to be rebuilt. Paid $2400 for that and afterward it was leaking constantly. Took it back there four times, once for an entire week (after the week they had my car to do the initial work) they added another cooling fan or something, but most of it was just "we don't know".

After some time on Google, I found out that with my transmission, a lot of people mistake another vent hose for the transmission vent hose. The actual transmission vent hose was crimped shut and shoved underneath the battery. After fixing and re-mounting that, the leaking issue was 100% fixed. Because I used Google. Pretty disappointing to fix an issue like that on my own that my previously trusted transmission shop couldn't figure out. I appreciate what they did for my past cars, but I'm looking elsewhere in the future.

Had a minor transmission leak on my wife's van. $1700 for a complete "reseal" and a new torque converter and its fixed. but not really. Noticed it leaking the next day in my driveway, so I take it back. Wait 4 hours for them to re-re-seal it? Take it home, next day still leaking. I just deal with it and add fluid for a while. I finally make time to take it back to the shop after taking time off work to deal with it, and they re-re-re-seal it and then try and pass the blame saying it is leaking from the solenoid pack on the front of the trans and that I need to replace that seal, well why the hell wasn't that $4 seal included in the $1700 reseal I paid for initially?

I should note that I have a little bit of knowledge of how cars work, since I am a mechanic myself, so the fancy mumbo jumbo pass the blame bullcrap doesn't work on me. This transmission has been leaking still, from everywhere, the bellhousing area (front pump I assume), the differential cover, the pan cover, the solenoid pack, everywhere. I refuse to take it back and get the run around again from these guys.

I have given them my business in the past and had issues then also, but my concerns were always dealt with promptly and professionally. Unfortunately they dropped the ball on this one, 3 times in fact.

Straight up and honest guys to deal with. Price was great too. Before I finalized my appointment I asked several other long time Gresham businesses about Gresham transmission and they all had good things to say. My experience was good. A little prying for paperwork but, I had a bit of a unique situation. In the end we both communicated and moved forward with the repair which went well.

These guys are AMAZING! They completely fixed my transmission the first of the year. They explained everything they were doing in a way I could understand. They got my car done quickly and test drove it. The price was affordable even for me. They told me to call if anything came up but the car worked like it was brand new again - it's a 2002 Dodge Neon.

On Tuesday, I noticed my transmission fluid was draining. I thought it was a major leak. Filled it up by the time I got to work it was ALL gone. Filled it up again and got right over to Gresham Transmission. He put the car on the lift and knew immediately that the transmission fluid was being drained but because the radiator was doing it. He said I needed to get it taken care of NOW.

I was so worried because I know nothing about cars or where to take them. He told me to go around the corner to Referral Automotive and they would treat me well. Even after putting the car up on the lift and looking at it they didn't charge me anything! I was so grateful. I recommend them 100%. They do great great great work and they will answer all of your questions no matter how dumb they sound. This is where you want to go for ALL of your transmission needs!

Harry and Junior are great guys. They run a straight up honest business. I'm in business for myself as well and these guys do great work like we do. My rigs are used on a daily basis and need to be taken care of well. I had them rebuild the transmission in my diesel work van three years ago. Recently it just quite working. Couldn't drive it anywhere. Got it in to them when they could fit it in, I have a back van to use, so business wasn't slowed.

They looked it over and found the problem, something in the valve body of the transmission. They replaced it and sent us down the road. Man what a relief to have our van back and working again. Thank you fellows!

I have had nothing but the best experience with this business. Here is my story. I had a clutch replacement done 2 years ago on my Mazda pickup (basically a Ford Ranger) About a month ago I started having issues getting it into gear after driving it for a while. I took it into Gresham Transmission and Jr had the guys bleed the system for me. Rangers are notorious for getting air in the system and are hard to bleed. Anyway, it didn't work.

They tried 3 different times to bleed the system but the issue didn't go away. After about 3 weeks of struggling with shifting I went in and talked to Jr and Senior about what to do. Here is the part that separates this business from most. They said bring it in and we'll throw another clutch in it and see if that helps. Well, I went in to pick it up yesterday and ask Jr what I owed him and he said nothing.

Note this was a 2 year old clutch with a one year warranty. I about fell over with gratitude. Anyway my truck is running like new again thanks to the help and OUTSTANDING customer service these fellows offer. If you need clutch or tranny work done GO SEE THESE GUYS!

Swapped out my tranny fast. Provided almost zero paperwork about the transmission. I asked for high performance clutches and such. Asked for a higher stall converter as well. Even when asked they provided next to nothing. Had to upgrade from the old Chevy style kickdown cable to the new style. No big deal and it was discussed before. They just left it laying on the motor and said "we don't work on engines" they were referring the fact the needed to change a 24 dollar bracket out.

I am happy to pay but they are just lazy. I ended up taking our to another shop and they fixed it up in twenty minutes. These jokers will never get my money again. To bad as well, since my family races and gets quite a few transmissions rebuilt a year.
