I have an older jeep I just purchased, and wanted to make sure it was road worthy, and dependable. I took it to Auto Angel and had them go over the entire vehicle. They showed me everything that needed repair, and made sure I was ok with those repairs before doing them. They also did all the routine maintenance it needed since I wasn't sure what had been done in the past. I had some steering issues, which I no longer have, and am extremely satisfied with cost, time, etc. Recommend 100%!

Brought in my camper van a few years ago and this still bugs me. They called me the next day that it was ready to be picked up. When I got there they told me that they hadn't worked on it cause of an odor, which was news to me. I went out to my van and they had left the windows open all night in a super sketchy area. I checked and the there was a strong odor that wasn't there when I dropped it off.

When I got it home I looked for the reason. They some how pinched or peirced the propane line in the back. They had to have heard it hiss and smelt the gas, and rather then own up to it the decided to gaslight me and pretend that a gas smell is from me as a person. Found a way better place and bring all my vehicles there instead.

I highly recommend The Auto Angel. Honesty at it's finest. They diagnosed a transmission/electrical issue I was having and found the problem. They could have easily charged me for new parts but in an effort to do a thorough job, they inspected and tested the existing components and determined they were still good. This saved me a lot of money. Very grateful for their honesty and thoroughness.

I went to the Auto Angel yesterday to get my front end of my car inspected and to see if I needed an alignment. The first time I walked in, I was told they do appointments only. The lady at the front is very kind, helpful and Todd was very informative too. He was listening to my problem and suggested getting a diagnostic done. I took my car in for the diagnostic and they found that I needed new struts, was very transparent about the diagnostic and pricing. I'm from out of town so I appreciated them dropping me off at my airbnb to wait for my car and also leaving my key in a lock box so I could still pick my car up after hours.

When I came to pick up my car, my receipt was left inside the car, the car smelled really good and three dumb dumb lollipops were left in the air vent. Really top notch service and most certainty lives up to their name.

Passing through Santa Fe on a Friday afternoon and my A/C crapped out. Gabriel and crew took care of it right then. They were great! If I lived in Santa Fe I would be bringing my cars here all the time.

On the road back to San Diego from Black Lake, NM when I started to loose my clutch while pulling my horse trailer with horse on board late on a Friday afternoon. Gabriel and Co did a great job of getting us back on the road early the following week with new clutch installed and working great! I highly recommend Auto Angel! Service: Transmission

I really can't recommend Auto Angel highly enough. I came to get a second opionion on an expensive fix, and they began by walking me through the process and making sure I understood that it might end up costing me just as much as if I just had the dealer do the work. They ended up determining that the car only needed one of the parts the dealer had recommended, and their work cost me less than half what the dealer quoted me for.

Throughout the entire process, they were transparent, honest, and happy to discuss my questions. Plus, they didn't try to persuade me to do a whole load of unnecessary maintenance, like the dealer and other mechanics have. Now my car is working good as new, and they have a 3-year warranty for the work. Overall, I have never interacted with a mechanic with such a high level of integrity and professionalism. So do yourself a favor and check out Auto Angel!

Fantastic customer service, and really thorough inspection. They even send a link so that you can view all the details about their findings. They did, unfortunately, quote me a lot more for a repair than Subaru, so I'd definitely double check pricing.

Excellent, thorough work and explanations of diagnosis/issues, friendly, didn't feel they were trying to push unnecessary services just to make $$, and I like that they give back to the community with food donations. Also didn't get the condescending "women don't know anything about cars" vibe/treatment that I have sometimes gotten when I first walk in for auto service at many other places. Highly recommend Auto Angel!

They charged us$122 for a synthetic oil change what a rip off!

I took our Ram 2500 diesel in because our check engine light was on, Gabriel was so kind and checked the codes, explained what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He didn't end up charging us for checking the codes or the time he took out of his day to explain truck things to me. I'm incredibly grateful and definitely recommend auto angels! Thank you!

I don't give tons of reviews, but I have to say how impressed I was with these guys. Prompt, professional, affordable, and not unwilling to come in UNDER estimate! Highly recommend.

I've lived in Santa Fe for more than 12 years. Over that time I've been to almost all of the repair shops here. Until I started going to Auto Angel I had multiple disappointments: inaccurate diagnosis, poor quality work, poor quality parts, work not finished on time, unwillingness to explain the underlying problem or solution, items missing from my car when I got it back.

Since going to Auto Angel, and its the only shop I've been to in 5 or 6 years, I've had none of these problem. Dependable diagnosis and recommendations, and consistent high quality work. No problems! There are other pluses, including friendly staff, support for community activities and support for food drives. But the bottom line is that I've never been disappointed in the quality of the work. Wow - totally blown away by the hospitality at Auto Angel! When I first walked in the door, they offered me a bottled water and asked if I needed a ride - I had already made arrangements for transportation, not knowing that they offered this service. I received a text a couple of hours later, explaining their recommendations, the costs involved and they asked me to call them at my convenience to go over the repairs.

It ended up costing me less than what I anticipated and the noise issue with my car was resolved. When I returned to pick up my car, the staff introduced themselves and shook my hand. When I opened my car door, I was welcomed with 3 lollipops in one of my vents and they vacuumed my car and it looked like they cleaned my windows as well. Who does that? They now have a customer for life.

Not only is it a well run shop with friendly employees, Gabriel Garcia is the epitome of what you want from a local business owner. He loves Santa Fe and gives back to his community. Auto Angel sponsors Christmas toy drives, Valentines candy drives and trades vehicle inspections for bags of food for local food banks. I'm happy with the work done at the shop and glad to support a good local businessman in Santa Fe. Highly Recommended.

I went to three different Jiffy Lube is only to be told it was going to be an hour and a half wait or more. What? I drove past this place and pulled in. They gave me an appointment the next day at 10 AM.They did a wonderful job in under an hour and left three lollipops on my dashboard along with a automobile trash bag, one of the tiny ones, around my gearshift. I highly recommend if only for the welcoming and supportive atmosphere and tone of its employees. Thanks guys!

What a stunner to be told I need to leave my car there for an entire day to do a 30 minute process. I even said I could bring it another day but could not be without my car for a full day. WOW! Guess I'll cross this one off my list for good. What a way to turn a potential new customer away. Actually it would have been 4 new customers as 3 other folks were waiting to see how my request unfolded. They lost us all.

Wow. Thanks for the response 10 months later and saying everything was our fault. I will let your response speak for itself. Stay classy. Oh and we DID call you. You told us there was nothing you could do about the warranty. Had you actually replaced the head gaskets which was what the actual problem was, we wouldn't have had been out another $5k.

The Auto Angel is an extremely professional and honest Reliable Auto repair facility they support many local activities and charities and is a true asset to the community, donate the bag of non perishable goods and ask for the free inspection.

Are used to think that auto Angel was very honest and reliable. I have recently experienced, and heard of other women experiencing, them trying to urgently sell high-end repairs. I would really recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with auto angels recommendations.

After using 7 different auto shops in New Mexico, me and my wife both value Auto Angel because we know we can trust that they are doing their best. Don't listen to the reviewers saying this is a place trying to tack on expenses. It's just not how the owner and business are. This is an honorable auto shop with some skilled technicians. They are more expensive than a number of other shops, but you get a high caliber of work, quality parts, a three-year warranty that they really do stand behind, and well-intentioned trustworthy service. I've experience shady auto shops a number of times in NM; Auto Angel is no such place.

The owner and business stand by their work, have repeatedly tried to *save* me money on all four cars I've brought to them, and are straightforward about the costs and benefits of repairs. Sometimes with the amount of business they've got, I could see how confusion or miscommunication could crop up. But the couple times I've had an issue arise, or there has been miscommunication, I've been met with receptivity and every effort to correct their errors.

Among a variety of above-and-beyond experiences: the owner saved my butt by over the phone by walking me through an (unrelated) breakdown while I was in Denver - he was able to diagnose the issue, explain what was happening to me, and then help me correct it well enough to get from CO to NM again. No charge, on his off time.

Gabriel and the staff at Auto Angel were all excellent in not only their mechanical know-how, but excellent customer service as well. I was visiting Santa Fe and got a pesky check engine light that also reminded me of some other issues I'd been neglecting. Gabriel was very thorough in asking questions to make sure they had a clear picture of what the issue was and how they could meet my expectations.

He provided an item-by- item estimate with the understanding that often you can't really know what the job entails until you get into it. Their diagnostic process was comprehensive, the problem was solved and I was back on the road after paying the agreed price and felt good knowing they had fully documented everything they had done. They even followed up with a message saying that they appreciated my business. That's cool. Kudos to Gabriel, Steve and everyone at Auto Angel. I'm a fan!
