The air conditioner in my Honda was not working properly. It hadn't been for over a year. I took it to my local Honda dealership twice and each time they were dismissive. Someone recommended Michael & Co. I drove 30 miles to have them troubleshoot the problem. Michael & Co went above and beyond. They injected dye into the system to check if there were any leaks.

They noticed the filter was clogged and the dealership had overfilled the freon. Once they unclogged the system, my air conditioning was working at optimal levels. I finally have cool air! My dogs are very happy!

I found Michael & Company through TireRack.com where I purchased some new wheels and tires. Part of the purchase process was to choose an installer in my area from a list of shops they provided and to whom they would ship my wheels and tires to and who would also install them. I chose Michael & Company and I'm glad I did. They were reliable and did a great job.

They also put my old wheels and tires in my trunk for me made sure they covered the upholstery in my car so as not to dirty them. I had to wait a bit because they were pretty backed up, but they kept me updated frequently. The following day I went back to get a new custom exhaust system installed and although they were quite busy and it was a Friday afternoon they squeezed me in and let me know that they would only charge me for 1 hour of labor.

I agreed to it. As it turned out they installed my new exhaust in less than an hour and they only charged me the prorated amount. That was really kind of them and they were very fair about it. I truly appreciated that. I highly recommend Michael & Company to anyone who needs work done on their car because of the many services they provide and also because of the quality of their work, their professionalism and honesty.

I had a quote from a dealer for $1000, from another shop for $500 - both complete rip offs. I ended up calling Michael & Co and asking if I could pick up the part myself and if they could install and just charge me labor. They were very helpful, honest and fair. They had everything done in an hour and it saved me a ton of money!

Ugh I'm so disappointed. I went in last week for an oil change, when asked if I wanted anything else checked I asked to please check my tire pressure since the alert kept coming up on and off and they agreed to check that out. I get there to pick up my car, I leave, and then I get a call from them that they left my hood open. Truly disappointed by the lack of attention to detail, not a huge issue but it is careless.

Then the next day, my low tire pressure alert goes off, they didn't check my tire pressure like I had asked and like they said they would. These issues just seem a careless on their end and they shouldn't agree to check something out in regards to my car if they won't do it. Update: I appreciate Chris reaching out after my review, acknowledging the mistakes and willing to make things right.

Had to get the break booster warrantied out do to poor workmanship. Tried calling about the screeching low quality breaks they installed to also get those warrantied out and upgrade and they didn't even have enough decently to return the call.

Had my car towed by AAA to Michaels&Company bc it was the closest auto repair shop. Wow I left feeling so grateful to them bc I ended up not having to leave it for the weekend which would have been understandable since I didn't get it there until 3:45 on a Friday. But thanks to "Pat" who generously worked past the time he'd usually get off, fixed my car!

He took the time to help me understand what had been the problem, friendly, patient and so thoughtful. Thank you to "Chris" who made my first visit a really positive experience from beginning to end! Even offering that an employee could give me a ride home. But glad I stayed! I will definitely return for further auto services. They won my trust, love a family run/owned business too! Nice to find a place where you're treated like they're honest and really care! Highly recommend!

We have gotten our cars serviced there for years. They listen to me.

Honest, ethical, and professional. I had my luxury car taken to the dealership and was told that I needed a new muffler. Located Michael & Co. on Yelp, of course. I asked and was told about the price of a new muffler. Michael & Co. heard the noise I was hearing. They evaluated the issue and determined that I needed a pin replaced. Yes, a pin! I paid about 1/6 the price of a new muffler for my luxury car. Honesty and integrity. Job well done. I no longer hear that noise. Highly recommend Michael and Co.!

This shop is fantastic. They have excellent customer service and they have excellent mechanics. What else could you ask for? Oh, that's right; and their prices are fair and transparent. Chris helped me out a ton: he scheduled my repair, gave me an incredibly accurate estimate (no bait and switch), and he kept me updated with all the milestones of progress throughout the repair.

He genuinely seems happy to work here. Also, their mechanic shop is huge, they perform all sorts of work for any vehicle. Truly, they can do any type of modification or repair. They whole shop is clean and organized which always gives me more comfort. I have been to this shop four times for repairs in the past 5 years. Each time has been excellent. Michael & Co. have my trust. I'd get my mom's car serviced here if i could.

I can't offer anything but praise for Michael & Company. A coworker who had been going to them for car service for 30 years recommended them to me when I moved to California. She praised their work and told me they'd kept her car running for more than 20 years! She was right about the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to answer questions.

Their online system provides efficient scheduling and service estimates, and they're very affordable. I can't find anything to critique. Put your vehicle in Michael & Company's hands.

An A+ experience every time. I like to keep my 2012 Prius in good shape and Michael & Co. has made that possible. Yes, the car has experienced some body damage, but you would never know it. When I get my car back from them it is like the damage never happened. Their estimates are thorough rarely requiring any additions. I am a fan!

Easy appointment, great prompt service and Michael's does a great point check which is very important and they are very informative on any issues with your vehicle AAA approved honest service.

Friendly service. Had four new tires installed here sent via Tire Rack. Unfortunately Michael & Company gouged two of the four rims during the installation process and were pretty ambivalent about it. Wouldn't come here again.

Car troubles never fun. But if it happens, I'll definitely come. I went to another repair shop near my office in Mtn View for 10 yrs and the lockdown forcing me to find an alternate shop closer to home. I found Michael & Co thru my Costco membership haha. I took my car here several times now for my regular service, tire rotation and a rooftop drainage issue. AND I AINT moving to another repair shop!

This is it- the holy grail of all repair shops! First thing I noticed. what a great customer service! Ky is my guy. They don't over sell, or trying to nickel and dime you. Honest, good or bad news. This is one of the good things that happened to me in 2020!

Excellent customer service! I ran over something on the freeway and there was a piece of my bumper that was rubbing against my tire. I came in just wanting to get the piece removed. They fixed it for me in under 20 minutes and didn't charge me. I will definitely be back for future services.

My car "Grace" was a victim of a Wham-Bam Thank-you Ma'am; nobody bothered to leave a note or a number after this parking lot hit and run. Being involved in a hit-and-run has got to be number 1 on my annoyance list. It is hard to believe they didn't even leave a mint on the hood. : Michaels and Company were listed, at the top of the list for collision repair providers in my Network.

Everyone that I spoke with at Michaels was empathic, caring, and helpful. They provided me with the best customer service I have experienced in quite some time; and the absolute best in our Covid world. Lynn is a dream she, worked with both me and my insurance company to ensure things were clear and confirmed! If your car is violated with or without you Michael and Co will heal all your pains and repair the damage!

I took my car to have it maintenance during the start of the pandemic and let me know to tell you they have the best service and are cautious! I drove up, and a staff member was at the door asked what I needed, and I handed over my car keys. Before they did anything, they had called me informing me what needed to be fixed and informed me about the fees, of course, which is essential to know.

I got everything done as they had suggested, and when I had to pay, the great thing was that I received a text message of the invoice and can pay it via phone! It's convenient and makes me happy when there is less human contact. I would suggest this company over a few I've been too. Try it, and your car will feel brand new!

I've been taking all of my cars to Michael and Co for over 15yrs. They are reasonably priced and have an efficient process. I like that they offer free drop offs. You can almost always get a same or next day appointment as well.

I'm very disappointed in this company, It's been 3 weeks since I've taken in my car and was told it was not repairable and that I should wait 7 days to hear from the insurance co. I finally got a response. from them and they told me they still haven't received the evaluation report from you guys. All this time I've been waiting thinking it was State Farms lack of customer service and it was you guys. I will never return or recommend this company to anyone.

Geddy Ly, the head of Collision was incompetent at best and negligent at worst. Simply put, he told me my car was ok to drive over the phone (without any work actually being done) and when I questioned him further he explained that it is, "probably ok" and felt that he couldn't tell my insurance company that the car wasn't able to drive. The front. passenger bumper was hit causing the liner inside the wheel well to rub dangerously on the tire.

According to my insurance agent and anyone with half a brain if work hasn't been done on the car no one can claim it, "safe to drive." When I went to pick the car up to take it to another auto body shop Geddy backpedaled from his previous statement.
