Was never called about extra interior damage. Had to call Ricks to ask why the repairs took over a month to be told. When we finally got the car back the windshield, that Ricks billed State Farm for ($400) a new one was still damaged. The manager Aaron Is extremely rude considering the possible insurance fraud. My family has been using Ricks since Rick started the business. The integrity and quality has retired along with Rick.

My wife's brand new 2020 Acura RDX (with 1500 miles on it) and my 2017 Porsche Macan were extensively damaged by hail. Sabrina was great in working with the insurance company to make it a seamless process and making sure all the repairs we needed were fully covered. She was great at communicating with us during the whole process and both cars came out looking like new. I would highly recommend Rick's Auto Care & Collision Repair. I am a fussy guy when it comes to my cars and they exceeded my expectations.

I have been going to Ricks Auto Body for over 25 years. This goes back to when he was married and his x-wife was working at Dr. Sanders office. I have sent so many people to him. I think Shirley is a doll at the front desk but after this last experience, I would never recommend anyone to go back to him. Rick is so nice. He always wants to please the customer. Rick has no idea what is going on behind his back with this employee.
Her name is Sabrina. Sometimes when women get in a power position, the power goes to their head and they forget what it is like to be human. This is the case with this woman. She has absolutely no customer service skills. She does not know how to talk to clients There is right and wrong way when talking. She uses the wrong way. She is extremely rude and has no respect.
She lies like nothing. In this world with small business trying to survive. She is deliberately ruining Ricks business. Instead of doing what she can to please the customer, she chases them away. She is the nastiest person I know. She will throw her finger in your face and her arms in the air as if she is having a tantrum. She said I had one dog hair on my seat that she could see so now if I wanted detailing it would be $400.
She said there was a crumb on the back seat. I made her life up the weather Tech mats so she would see nothing was there. It was perfectly clean. She did not like being caught in a lie or had to lift up the mats to see how clean it was because she was telling me that it was dirty under the mats. Then she got more disrespectful and was screaming $400 as she took off.
I even had the Enterprise employee look at my car. He could not believe it. He just shook his head and said my car was clean. He told me I should only see what is brought back in a car rental. He also said nobody at any time should be treated like she treated me. All I know is if she does this to me, she does it to others. That is obvious. She is the production manager.
I am telling you she is not human. She thinks she is above all of us. I am now telling everyone not to go here unless you want to be abused. I even took everting out of my truck like I was told to. I know someone forgot to vacuum it. It was not dirty. This is not the quality work and service I am used to from Ricks. It was a horrible experience.

Extremely kind, helpful, and professional. I will be coming here for all of my collision repair needs and definitely would recommend Rick's to all of my friends and family in the area as well. On my latest visit, I saw them helping out a police officer with an estimate for some kind of repair on their squad car - you know this is a good spot if this is where LEOs are bringing their cars! Shout-out to Aaron for his awesome help!

Very professional, friendly, courteous. Took my Prius V. They had it ready as promised. Very dependable. Made my Prius look like new. Glad that I didn't take my Prius anywhere else. Went to the dealer and Gerber first. The day before I was going to take my Prius to Gerber I saw a commercial for Rick's on TV. Went there the next day and decided to give them a try because they are not a big franchise like Gerber. I would recommend Rick's to anyone. If I could have given Rick's 10 stars I would.

I have known Rick for over 40 years originally growing up in Highland Park. However, I have not lived their in over 25 years and have lost touch with him. Recently, I experienced a fender bender. I actually went out of my way and drove all the way from downtown Chicago to drop my Audi in Rick's care. A friend told me you won't be disappointed. What you realize is a man who is an experienced people person and a seasoned body shop man and of course, a staff that follows his leadership.
I thoroughly appreciate the fact my car was ready at an off hour and Mario accommodated my request when no one else was even working. The proof is in the pudding! The results were stunning and I appreciate level of detail in making all the creases in the car line match flawlessly. Additionally matching black color is not easy and they did an amazing job in that department too!
Early on there was a little misunderstanding (probably on my part) but I could not have asked for a better individual to do business with than the unofficial Mayor of Highland Park, Rick Shoemaker. He's got my vote!

I've met Rick several times over the past month. When he hosted an after hours networking for the chamber, I was able to really get to know him. From our conversation I know without a a doubt that he is truly invested in the Highland Park community and really cares for his customers not only from a quality standpoint, but also from a cost fairness perspective. I will definitely be bringing my car here should the need arise in the future!
