We limited into Los Cruces and Aguirre didn't have to work on the RV immediately and yet took the time to scan the OBD and give us some help and suggestions to continue on. Great service from knowledgeable and friendly staff.

I was referred to Aguirre Auto by a friend when I returned to Las Cruces about 12 years ago. I have found them to be competent, reliable, comparable in price and honest. I like dealing with a small, family owned and operated business. I travel full time in business and it's nice to find an honest, reliable mechanic shop with great rates for service. They got my car fixed within a few hours so we could get down the road to our next show. I highly recommend this place!

They failed to apply our AAA discount to final bill (the only reason we took it there was because AAA recommended and we were suppose to get a discount). When we told them the discount was never allied the liner said our wad our responsibility to tell them at check out. Even though we had already had the vehicle serviced there just days before and had to take it back because they failed to fix whatever wad wrong with it in the first place.

That first we used our AAA membership so they knew we were members. I paid over $2000 and they had the vehicle for over 2 months collectively. At the end of it the A/C still didn't work. The owner was very rude and said "if you have a problem your can take your car back." So I did, I'll gladly pay a more competent mechanic who will actually fix my car the first time as this is the 3rd time I've had to take the car back to Aguirre Auto and it's still having problems. #incompetentmechanics #conartists

Took my Sprinter van to them at the end of Oct 2020. Talked to a head mechanic (Mark I think) beforehand and was very hopeful because he took a good amount of time to talk over my issue. Basically, I was seeing signs of a blown head gasket. I knew it would be a major and expensive job but after talking to mark I thought they were up for it. They were not.

They did find a fuel hose that was leaking and replaced it but said that was the source of my problems. They said they tested my van for a blown head gasket but found nothing and gave it back. After driving it for weeks and still noticing problems, (my coolant had gone from slowly disappearing to quickly disappearing) I have discovered a massive amount of coolant in my oil.

Basically these guys couldn't be bothered to take the time to find a problem even when told exactly where to look. I could see the signs and I'm no professional mechanic. My mistake was trusting them instead of my own senses and now my engine is probably in way worse shape than it was in Oct. If there was a chance it was fixable then I'm sure ill have to replace the whole engine now.

If your taking your car to these guys for anything complex. Be Warned. I could go into a couple other problems I had with them but obviously they are minor compared to this. I have attached a pic of oil syphoned out of my van. After left alone for a while you can see the large layer of water that has settled on the bottom. And yes, There was oil seeping from the head gasket on the exhaust manifold side.

Not fuel. Confirmed by the competent mechanic I took it too later. Tests I did before taking it to you showed signs of exhaust in coolant system which points to head gasket. Mechanic I took it to after you diagnosed it no problem. Seems like you are the weakest link.

The owner was very helpful and professional. Got my truck in and out and repaired my steering with quality parts and warrantied his work. Friendly and knowledgeable, showed me what needed repair and had the repair done in short order. Shop was the cleanest and most organized auto repair shop I've been in. Highly recommend them. Thanks to AAA for the referral.

They are my go to people for my 2001 Tundra. She's a fairly low mileage vehicle for the year that I've had since she was new and I don't have vehicle payments. So if you want a dependable vehicle you need a dependable and honest mechanic/technician to take care of it. Aguirre Auto Shop is the place to go for good, honest, dependable, Auto Service. This is the best auto place in town! And we are not even from the area. We had some car problems driving from far away and though they were about to close and super busy they had generous hearts to take care of us. Thank God it wasn't a big issue so they were able to fix it in a good amount of time. We are so blessed by them and hope their business is blessed in return. Thank you Mark and team!

When I arrived in Las Cruces as widowed friend of mine said her husband wouldn't consider any other mechanics. Since then I have used this business for over twenty years. Regardless of what vehicle I have I always feel secure in having them check any problems, as well as taking care of regular maintenance. Both Mark & Keith have been more than helpful and the rest of the staff is dependable, too. WW

Professional, friendly fair and thorough service! We broke down on our way through Las Cruces from San Antonio, TX to Casa Grande, AZ during the Holidays. Aguirre's came recommended from local friends and even the tow truck driver. So glad we found them. Mark and Antonio were great in listening to me about the issue, what trouble shooting I had done, confirmed the issue and the truck was fixed in a day (A/C compressor seized and caused no start condition).

Have dealt with one too many shady shops and "stealerships" in my day. Aguirre's definitely does not fall into that category. These guys are top notch. Definitely a benefit to their community. Many thanks!

These guys are the best, was driving through town coming from California trying to get to Texas. Heard a terrible clicking rubbing noise when getting off the highway. They got me in and took a look at my car within 5 minutes of being there and had it back to me fixed and on my way within the hour. Each gentleman i talked to was extremely helpful and patient. RECOMMEND TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR INEXPENSIVE, FAST, AND POLITE HELP.

Our RV was in need of emergency repairs and these guys came to the rescue. Even with a backlog of cars on the lot, they took us in and had our parts immediately delivered and quickly sent us on our way! Great quality work at a fair price. Everyone In the shop was a joy to talk to/work with. They rescued our family trip across country! Thank you to Mark and his team!

They're friendly and can't seem to say "no" to a job. They diagnosed issues with my car and took good care but I ended up leaving my car for a week. I didn't have a mechanic yet in town so I brought it in for a simple oil change. Left it for three days and it still didn't get done by the final day. After then, I stopped going. If you're patient, it might be worth the wait. Or maybe their cute dog is worth the wait.

We limped in from out of town and they were busy but managed to squeeze us in. We had a 2000 Ford diesel truck with bad front wheel bearings. They got us out of there the next day. Price was reasonable. Thanks guys!

My car developed a big leak in its cooling system and had to be towed to Las Cruces. I talked to the local Pep Boys about repairs and they were very discouraging. Pep Boys told me that the defective part was no longer made. Not true. Aguirre located a brand-new OEM replacement part in Colorado and had it shipped in super fast. They were done the day after.

Very good communication about what needed to be done, time frame and cost. Plus, they have TOM--the coolest shop dog in the known universe. Get your car expertly fixed for a reasonable price. And tons of unconditional dog love for free. What's not to like?

They diagnosed the problem (my starter) easily and were very nice about explaining what was happening. They did not get it done as fast as I would have hoped but they did drop me off after I gave them my car. I'm not sure how cheap they are, but they have a AAA discount. I think they are honest about the work they do, but maybe a bit expensive.
