The air filter is an important part of the vehicle's intake system. It allows the engine to breathe without the threat of contamination. An engine needs a precise mixture of fuel and air in order to run efficiently. Air enters the system through the air filter, which catches the dirt and other foreign particles, preventing them from entering the system and possibly damaging your engine.
Brake pads are a key component of your vehicle's braking system. When the brakes are applied, their contact with the brake rotors are what allow you to stop. Over time, this interaction causes the brake pads to gradually wear down, reducing your braking ability. We recommend replacing your brake pads after they have worn to less than 1/8th of an inch, often signaled by a squealing wear indicator embedded in the brake pad.

Trustworthy mechanics! I have always had great faith in their recommendations for repairs for my 22 year old car. They are able to diagnose and correct each issue. My check engine light no longer haunts me and the car runs like new. Harry and Mike are incredible and have a fabulous staff of wonderful mechanics. Won't take my car anywhere else. Can't say enough about this shop. If there's one thing I love, it is clear communication and honesty from a mechanic. Their prices are very affordable and it is a very low pressure environment. My car was done in a couple days and I love the app in which they communicate things with you. Thank you LBR!

I had a check engine light that had to be fixed through a Carmax auto place and that led me to LBR. I was a little annoyed that it was quiet far from where I lived, but the service has been wonderful! They even caught issues I hadn't specifically come in for. Harry was always delightful and easy to get a hold of.

If you want an incomplete job done, non authentic parts installed and be lied to, this is the place for you. Plus they don't back their work. The window control head I had replaced was an aftermarket part, not via Mercedes. It malfunctioned immediately. I was offered an oil change, after being blown off for a week being told they ordered it from Mercedes.
Not only did I pay the money for a Mercedes switch, I have it at the dealership to have it done twice. Paying twice for the same problem is a big no. The dealership even sent me a photo of the switch to verify it was not from Mercedes. Liars and thieves. Stay away. I attached the garbage they ordered from Amazon as proof.

Five Star experience form LBR Auto Repair. My catalytic converter was stolen from my vehicle. The dealerships were backordered on the part, so I called LBR. Harry was my contact and he did a fantastic job of expediting my service in one day, arranging a rental car for me at a great deal and keeping me updated on the status. He even called the next day just to confirm everything had gone alright and if I had any questions. No repair shop has ever done that. We'll see how the car runs over time, but my experience was great.

This is the #1 place I go to when I need something worked on my car. LBR has worked on my car 2 times and this last time my car died right when I got into the lot, found out it was a crankshaft position sensor and the turnaround time was only a couple hours same day! Found this place a little over a year ago and ran into Harry who is by far one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet, it's like having that uncle who helps you with your car troubles. Seriously great guy. You can trust this place with all of your car problems! 10/10. Thank you guys.

*Update: To clarify on the owner's reply below that I cannot reply to for some reason- I WAS refunded for the incorrect charges, but I WAS NOT refunded for the incorrect diagnosis I was given. I came in here because I had a bad ignition coil. Harry is a pretty nice guy but he did pressure me to replace all of the coils and spark plugs, which wasn't really necessary.
I was hoping that the bad coil would be one that was accessible, so that I could replace it myself (I like to do that when I can, and this would have been an easy job). Diagnosis came back and they told me that the bad coil was inaccessible underneath the intake manifold, so they would have to charge extra to move that. They did the repair and I got the car home.
A little while later I popped the hood to check fluids and noticed that the replaced coil was not underneath the manifold (and it also was a non-OEM part). I checked the invoice and they had indicated there which number cylinder they had replaced the coil on. I went online and found the cylinder diagram for my car, and sure enough, they did replace the correct coil but it was not underneath the manifold.
I went back to the shop, and they did refund me for the cost of the manifold R&I. So now at least the car works and I got what I paid for, but the fact remains that I paid about 400 for work that was done under false pretenses. Had they given me an honest diagnosis I would have done the repair myself for much cheaper. Under these circumstances I would have expected to at least receive a complete refund of the diagnostic fee.
The diagnosis is fundamental and something I expect to be correct. For me I cannot look past the misinformation that was given. I was a consumer in a difficult position because I needed the car to work, and I have to feel that I may have been taken advantage of here. For this reason I cannot recommend this shop and will not be returning as a customer in the future.

Had a five star experience at LBR. My Ford was not accelerating correctly and acting very strange. It did not feel safe to drive. I emailed LBR explaining my issue. They got in touch with me the following day and even found a time that day to bring in my car. I was able to leave it there and the next day they determined what it needed. They provided an estimate and offered to keep it and complete the job the following business day. It was ready as promised, the cost ended up being about $90 less than estimate and I drove my car the following week to Yellowstone and back! Car is driving great!

I've taken 2 cars to LBR and couldn't be more impressed with their service and attention to customer needs. My most recent involved a 10 year old Jeep that the dealer wanted a fortune to repair everything conceivable including a radiator that, it turns out, didn't need replacement. LBR provides their customers with value. fixing what's necessary but not overselling what's not. They answer questions honestly. Get back to you in a timely fashion. Thanks LBR and Harry!

My 14 year old Mercedes air conditioner stopped working and I decided to use LBR for the first time rather than going to the dealership. Harry was terrific walking me through the entire process of what needed to be done and what might need to be done if that did not work. It was like paint by the numbers, first do this and then do this next, if needed, which it fortunately was not. I will become a regular customer for my regular services.

I am the owner of a eight year old BMW X5 5.0. Recently, I reached a "fork in the road" as it relates to either selling at a fire sale price or making a major investment to replace turbo chargers and performing other needed repairs. Mike called and walked me through the "whats, whys, and hows" of everything. He even shared a similar experience that he had with an older Mercedes.
It was a tough call as the final total was nothing to sneeze at. In the end, Mike's info and confidence to do the job right along with my true joy in driving the vehicle drove a thumbs-up to go ahead with the work. The LBR team did a wonderful job, even cleaning her up on the day I picked up. Overall, a great experience.

I have an older model Lexus ES 300 and have been bringing it for some repair works at LBR Auto Repair for almost three years now. I had both of my front axles, water and coolant radiator, valve cover gaskets and old battery replaced. I also had my transmission flushed and oil filter changed during this period. Last week, I had them check my alternator; they said they put the alternator under three different diagnostic tests and found it to be still fine and in good working order.
I am very satisfied with their work and happy that I finally found an honest, reliable and does a very good quality car repair work. Their pricing is very competitive and the shop backs up their work. The shop also gives me a ride back home ( only live about 1.5 mile away) while they are working on my car. My car is given a steam clean and thorough cleaning each time I bring it to shop.
Turn around time is very quick too. My sincere appreciation to the team, especially to Harry, for proving clear explanations regarding the repair, pricing, completion and when I can pick up my car. I've had a great experience here for some tire work. I know they do maintenance and other fixes; I'd trust my car here again. Car things are not always pleasant but they made it as easy and hassle free as possible. We need to call out auto repair shops that are good - so I want to say that I appreciate it!

I have always driven used cars, so having an independent inspection is step #1 after I find a vehicle I'm interested in buying. Even amidst the constraints of a global pandemic, Harry George was so polite and helpful in getting an inspection done for a car I'm ultimately going to buy! The dealership drove it over to his shop within a day of me reaching out.
His technician did a thorough inspection and emailed me a report over in just a few hours! Cannot recommend this place enough for efficient and friendly service.such a relief in a time where so many things seem so uncertain.

This review should have been written several times in the past. Being confined I have had time to think about people that have done great jobs and I did not take the time to give them a review they deserved. I have taken my car to LBR a number of times with different Problems some big some small. In every case they did a great job. I feel they are honest reasonable and reliable.
They helped me with having a car to drive when really did not have one available. They guarantee there work which I have never had to exercise since they did it right every Time. So durning a time where thank-you is something I want to exercise I want to gives 5 stars and 5 thank you To LBR

Needed a routine checkup in Bellevue area for my Mazda3. This place only a 10 min walk from my house :) when they called me back they had nicely cleaned my car as well :) Great prices and the best show of their amazing service is they missed a broken light on my passenger side back parking light. When I brought the car back They fixed it complimentary since they missed it in the first appointment!
There is also a free shuttle to wherever you want to go in Bellevue and the driver is so nice! Keep note you must find a ride back to the LBR shop so keep that in mind! I would bring my car here again!

This shop backs up their work. I had my battery replaced at LBR and 24 months later my car decided not to start due to a dead battery. Called LBR and they were able to fit me into their schedule that day. Received a jump start from AAA and drove to LBR. They quickly diagnosed and confirmed the battery needed to be replaced, which LBR agreed to do at no cost as the battery was still under warranty. I'm glad I had the initial service done at LBR and they quickly fixed my problem. Thanks LBR!

I just moved to Seattle and have a 2010 Subaru Impreza Wagon that needed the head gaskets replaced. After calling about 10 different shops in town getting various quotes, I landed on LBR. Their pricing was competitive, and based on all the other positive reviews I felt I could trust them to take care of this larger repair. I'm so glad I did because I felt so taken care of and really trust the work they put into my Sub.
A special thanks to Harry who even let me borrow a loaner car for a couple of days because the machine shop they sent parts to took longer than expected. He was also very informative and friendly, I will absolutely be back for all future maintenance of my car. 10/10 would recommend LBR

Harry was friendly and took time to explain everything to me and pricing was fair. I've had to take my old Mercedes here twice over the last few years and each time I left being pleasantly surprised at the price I ended up paying for repairs. Turnaround time pretty quick too. Reliable, honest mechanics are hard to come by, but Harry has earned my business.
